The staff here are extremely friendly and I highly recommend! My cat needed emergency surgery to figure out why he stopped eating all of a sudden and they were able to figure out the problem right away. I was given such helpful advice for my cats aftercare and I strongly believe they saved my little four legged best friend’s life. Thank you Westside Family!

We have been taking all of our pets and horses to them for past 25 years and never had an issue until now. A staff member was very rude to us after all these years of business. We will take our business elsewhere.

The staff at both clinics are wonderful! You can tell they have a love for animals. They take the time to answer all of your questions. The obedience class is a great opportunity to help your pet as well as you to learn the correct ways to be able to enjoy your pet so much more. I highly recommend this clinic for all of your pet needs. I also recommend going to the obedience classes. Dr. Pederson is amazing. If one thing doesn't work, he will do something else for success.

Amazing job! My 2 dogs went to the Vet and then the Groomer! Couldn't be happier than I already am! They did an amazing job! Friendly, kind, and very welcoming! I felt like they are enjoying their job and loved us being there! And My dogs looked great after the grooming!!

Sadly we had a very poor experience as someone who always looks at reviews because we move a lot to know where to go… I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are new to town as they are very not accommodating.

Dr Stevie and staff were amazing, they correctly diagnosed our dog the first time we visited and now she's free from bum scooting and incessant licking. No more rashes and she's happier than ever!! She was misdiagnosed for a very long time and I'm so grateful we finally found a vets office we really trust. I enjoy their super chill and kind energy and I look forward to using their grooming services too. Thanks everyone!!!

Have never taken my own animal here but have had several friends tell me that their pet(s) did not have a good experience. Moved here 3 years ago and had a job interview for the kennel staff position. Told me I got the job and then I never heard back from them. Applied again this past year, was told I was hired, shown around the clinic, and never heard back from them, once AGAIN. Quite poor with communication, would not recommend going if they can’t even follow up with a person who would like to work for them…

On 9 June 2015, one of our dogs needed some Veterinary care and because we had recently moved, I was not sure where to take her. I did an Internet search and found Westside Family Pet Clinic in Norfolk, NE. Just like when people try a new Medical Doctor for the first time, I was a little skeptical when I walked in. I found out that my skepticism was for nothing. The staff at Westside Family Pet Clinic was very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr K took all of the worry out by just the way she presented herself and the information given to me in reference to our little four-legged family member. "Maggie" has some teeth issues which will require some to be extracted. Dr K prescribed some antibiotics for us to give to Maggie (for infection) until our next visit. Dr K has the philosophy that all of her "patients" that she sees are her pets too, so the care that was given was top shelf. It was also nice to know that she graduated from Iowa State Veterinary School, that is in fact one of, if not the best Vet Schools in the nation. If the rest of Maggie's visits go as smoothly as this first one did, I feel we have found our new Vet Clinic. We have another four-legged family member that will also be taken there in the near future. Thank you Dr K for your caring and professional attitude. See you at our next visit.

I take both my cat and dog to Westside and wouldn't take them anywhere else. The experience there is welcoming and wonderful! They always explain things thoroughly and attend to my pet's needs. If I have an emergency, they are always there to help right away too! I would recommend Westside Family Pet Clinic to all of my friends and family, and any and all pet owners. They truly care about the well being of the pet and I always feel my fur babies are safe in their care.

When my favorite vet left to work in another city, I felt lost. I never thought I'd find another like her. Boy, was I wrong! I love my new vet and the staff is terrific. I have a cat at the clinic today for surgery and they've been oh so patient with me calling to check on him. The waiting room is clean, decorated and welcoming. Not to mention the resident kitty that always welcomes me with meows and snuggles. I highly recommend Westside!

Our 19 year old cat was in poor shape. We did not want the cat to suffer but were not sure what vet to visit concerning the cat's condition. My son-in-law recommended the Westside Clinic. The staff at the clinic was truly caring. After answering our questions without trying to sway us one way or the other. The vet kept him overnight at the clinic giving us time to make an informed decision. The next morning we felt that the cat, Tigger, was ready to cross the rainbow bridge. The vet let us have as much time as we needed to say good-bye to our faithful cat. I was very impressed at how the staff supported and cared for the cat as he prepared and finally left our world.A short time later, we received a sympathy card from the clinic and a card about the rainbow bridge. I have never taken my pets to a clinic that showed such tenderness towards the pet as well as the family. Since then I have taken my other two house cats in for their shots and exams. I felt that what they charged me for all the work, was reasonable. I plan to continue taking my pets to Westside Family Pet Clinic.

We moved from another state 3 years ago and I needed to find a new Vet for my two dogs and three cats. I decided to try WFPC. I saw Dr. Kassie Ketteler the first time, and liked her right away ! She is a very caring and professional Vet, easy to see she loves animals, and will take the time to answer any questions or concerns you might have. A very beautiful, intelligent, compassionate woman she is. I am more than satisfied with the treatment I have received for all of my pets form this clinic.And by the way, their grooming for pets is awesome also. Tina and Tammy get a HUGE shout out too !

Shane has been the Veterinarian for my dogs for many years. We've seen him for everything from shots, to ear infections to surgeries. Most recently, I had my female dog spayed, the surgery went well, and she healed wonderfully. I couldn't have asked for better care for her. Shane and his staff are always pleasant. The staff is always does there best to answer any questions to give peace of mind for our "Furry Friends." I will, do, and have recommend Westside Family Pet Clinic to family, friends, and anyone that needs a great place for there pets to be taken care of.

About a week ago, our 7-8 week old kitten went through a traumatic and uncomfortable life threatening experience. In the emergency situation, I was too frantic to figure out what actually happened, and decided to get him in to see a vet. It was after hours, almost midnight. Every other clinic either turned us down because we weren't clients, or lived over an hour away. We were able to get ahold of Dr. Petersen right away, and he met us at the clinic even quicker than his own estimated time. He was very gentle and thorough while figuring out what happened to our baby Sneak. He was also unashamed to admit he had to do a little extra research before being comfortable with diagnosing him.Our precious baby came in too much contact with my dogs flea collar and it poisoned him, causing him to have siezures and troubles breathing. Something I would have never thought of. Dr. Petersen cared for him for two days and nights, and did everything he possibly could to try to nurse him back to health while keeping him as comfortable as possible. I should also mention that West Side was more than happy to work with us on the cost, understanding that not everyone is prepared to go through an emergency situation like we did. I was very satisfied with the care, the cost, and the amount of contact he kept with me throughout the time Sneak was in his care.Unfortunately, Sneak passed away. Dr. Petersen was so apologetic, although it wasn't necessary. He went above and beyond to do everything he could have possibly done. I believe it was just Sneak's time to go. I will forever be grateful for the amount of compassion I felt from all the staff at West Side. ❤️

Dr. Shane is a terrific vet and very caring!! He and his staff understand that our pets are just like family and explain everything to ease any anxiety we may have about any health concerns with our pets. He also had gotten our Shih Tzu in for an Emergent Eye Surgery and she healed up perfectly!! Definitely recommended!!

Not satisfied at all. Took my cat into the vet and explained she's been dry hacking with coarse harsh lung sounds and having labored breathing. Vet puts her on antibiotics..... she's having another attack... call in they tell me they can't get her in until tomorrow. She's having breathing problems and they tell me they can't get her in for over 29 hours from now. Unacceptable......Update from what happened--im a nurse and I know what asthmatic lungs sound like and siamese are prone to developing asthma. The vet keeps saying its a respiratory infection not asthma. Took her to another vet in their clinic Marisa Brauer and she does scans of her lungs and that vet fully agrees that she has severe asthma. My cat gets put on steroids and she's then better. Bad customer service. Don't dismiss your customers just because you are labeled a doctor because lets face it you have no idea of the education behind your animal patients owners.

We had been struggling for several months trying to determine why our year old black lab had intermintent urinary incontinence. Dr. Pedersen was great to work with, he was able to determine quickly what was going on and came up with the best plan to help our dog heal quickly!

Absolutely the best. Dr Shane is one of the best vets that I have ever used. He has an amazing bedside manner. If he doesn't know the answer to your questions, he will research it until he has an answer and treatment plan, if needed. Don't plan on changing vets anytime soon.

I have two little shih tzu's Annabelle and Bella, Dr Pederson has always been very caring and explains things he answers any questions as well. He talks to the dogs and even gets down on the floor to their level and pets as well as gives them treats. I had my daughters dog get sick when she was out of town on business. Her boys told me that Gizmo was pooping blood. I went over to their house, I called my vet and (forgive me for not knowing the new dr's name) she came in and she took care of gizmo. She explained how all of the medications were to be taken and she didn't do anything without finding out what the cost would be. That is an honest Veterinarian clinic. I have had other clinics who were not as nice to my babies as West Side Veterinarian clinic is. I refer all of my friends or anyone who is asking for a good vet. I always tell them what a great vet I have :)

Shane is the be'st. The clinic staff was so helpful with questions regarding my Yorkie. I would recommend them to everyone. I knew my furbaby was in good hands. My furbaby's only go to Willow Creek Vet. Thank you for exceeding my expectations.

I love love love them!! When my naughty boy Gizmo was declawed he would not stop being his rambunctious self and had issues with bleeding. He had to stay over the weekend. The staff would call me each day sometimes twice a day to let me know how my boy was doing. I love that they care for my animals as much as I do. ♡

Westside Family Pet Clinic knows pets. They helped my beloved Twilight control her feline asthma. When the pills weren't working for us, they switched us to a simple ear ointment, which works great!

I was very impressed with the level of customer service in all itsaspects: We (my dog and I) easily made a timely appointment even though we were new customers, received a friendly reminder call and text, were able to reschedule easily when we forgot our appointment (we did), were treated in an accepting manner when we arrived despite Rowdy's obesity and being delinquent in his shots, our old records were requested from our former vet's office by the accomodating office staff (I was supposed to have done this but didn't get to it), Rowdy was treated by staff who had a great way with him - quickly and efficiently drawing blood and performing other tests to determine his needs - well, suffice it to say they did EVERYTHING well!The veterinarian herself, whose name escapes me right now (so sorry - I'm old and forgetful), demonstrated the same warmth and professionalism as the rest of the staff and thoroughly explained all she did and what still needed to happen.We are totally sold on Westside Family Pet Clinic and will patronize them from here on out!Rowdy feels much better, running and playing like when he was a puppy - Thanks to you all!Margo Chenoweth-Pospisil
