The bakery is absolutely phenomenal. They worked quick and professionally to get all these cakes done for me. The kids loved them and i would definitely be getting more cakes here. Also i can't bet the prices.

The shelves are always empty. Nothing stocked. I can never find anything even though it says it's in stock in the store . Always have to wait in line for check out while 8 extra employees stand around looking at you. Have been numerous times that the credit card machines don't work and they tell me my card can't be read but it works everywhere else. I don't have problems at Walmarts that aren't in Norfolk!!

Usually I would rate this Walmart higher, but this trip was a little rough. The store was getting ready for the Holiday Season and there were people and stuff EVERYWHERE! The big isles were divided in two with special displays and boxes of items that have no place to go so maneuvering a cart was difficult. There were many staff members stocking the shelves which made it hard to get around because of the crazy amount of people that were in the store, and there were tons of kids running around and screaming (I know that's not Walmarts fault, but it did make the experience unenjoyable). I became very overstimulated very quickly while shopping and tried to get out of the store as quickly as possible, which was pretty disappointing because I don't get to go to Walmart often due to living 1.5 hours away from one. Overall, I love Walmart and their products, but this was a very unpleasant shopping trip.

Took over 2 hours to get 2 tires and an oil change, id understand if it was due to a line ahead of me. But my vehicle was in the bay for the whole 2 hours while they stood around and talked to each other. Wasted so much time.

I’ve never had issues with the bakery before but this time when I ordered a cupcake cake for my son they spelled his name wrong (it’s Maxx with 2 x’s) which I specified on my order. They spelled his name with only one x. My husband tried to get them to just throw an extra X on there and they refused because the baker wouldn’t be back for hours. We couldn’t wait that long and then even when he asked they PLEASE do it and that he didn’t even care if it looked bad, they still said no. My child had to give cupcakes to his class with his name misspelled. The cake also looked nothing like the advertisement photo but I really didn’t care about that. It was supposed to be a pikachu lightning bolt.

This is an edit of a negative to a positive review. Although the place was still overflowing with busy folks stocking the shelves which really should be done when customers are NOT in the store. Every employee I interacted with (1 cashier) was very pleasant.

I can usually find what I need, but a lot of things on their site isn't in their store. Also, I couldn't even get change for a dollar so my kids could buy a gumball from their machine... Was told they weren't allowed to make change like that! What has happened to businesses today?

As usual the bathroom was a mess..literally a dump on the floor and seats. Then there seemed to be no one around at the customer service center that had a clue how to return a bad battery to get my core charge back.As with every other place..self check out is a joke.

People be weary, I went grocery shopping with 2 of my boys today and one of my sons is multi handicapped and autistic, he was approached by a walmart employee who was discriminatory against him and told him that he needed to be quiet....THIS IS NOT OK..., let's just say this is not the first time that walmart cooperation has been discriminatory against people with disabilities,...I will not let this go quietly

It's about par for the course anymore. I buy my non-perishable groceries there when they're in stock otherwise lately I've just been shopping Amazon and obviously it's the whole self checkout. I'll buy eggs, milk, potatoes, juice stuff like that.

ABSOLUTE INCOMPETENCY!!!!!!! Not only did the delivery service not deliver my stuff when I had a window from eight to 9 o’clock at night, but they said it would only be delayed for two hours so I waited up till midnight…. then finally contacted someone who said it would be taken care of, but instead they canceled the order without my permission ( no one ever reached out to me through call or text). The next day, after talking to the ‘manager’ of the curbside and delivery, he insisted it would be taken care of if I do a curbside pick up (since that was under Walmart’s control and he would assure that I would have my goods as soon as possible). —-But when I tried to make the reservation for pickup online, the earliest was two days out, and when I tried to contact the manager to hold him to his word to ‘make it right’ , he wouldn’t take my call and had his associate tell me there’s nothing he can do.—- So now I’ve waited three days past the original date, it’s supposed to be picked up at five to 6 o’clock, and I just got another alert saying it’s going to be delayed again by at least two hours and of course the manager can’t take my call. —Fire these people, immediately!This is being reported all the way to corporate and I hope everybody is completely taken off this incompetent operation. I have pneumonia and I cannot go to the store, and I have gone three days now without medicine or food that I have needed.When a business makes a commitment online, it is a form of the contract which you are legally liable to uphold or make it right.

The fact is that no one can compete with Walmart. Competitive prices with large selection of whatever you need for daily life. Thanks to its hard working employees that let us shop till 11pm.

I'm hoping once they get done with all their redecorating it isn't so confusing. Most of the employees are helpful and friendly, but I do run into a handful that are rude and will just say they don't know etc., then turn their backs to you and go about what they were doing. Maybe they could offer to find someone else willing to help?Edit 12/4/2022My experience has improved 120% by now having everything delivered to my home. I don't ever have to set foot into the actual store. So far I haven't had any complaints with their delivery service. I spend way less $ when I shop on the app, and I can actually find everything I was looking for! Yes, sometimes I order something and then by the time they shop for me, it's out of stock. I figure it would probably be out if I were shopping in the store, too. I just reorder it next time.
