I have a Mastador that is very fearful of new people. It can make people nervous to be around him. The staff at Norfolk Vet Clinic were great with him! So patient and kind and understanding. By the end of the appointment, he was letting the vet pet him and taking treats from his hand! It means so much to me as an owner when they try to take the time to work with my dog. Highly recommend!

After my old vet had left and I didn't care for the vet that took over I decided to give Norfolk Veterinary Clinic a try and I was over the moon! I saw Dr Johnson and he was amazing with my fur baby and answered all the questions I had and I felt great after leaving knowing my Luna was okay and healthy!

I just visited the clinic this month for the first time with my cat, Poppy. The staff, technicians, and dr were all extremely nice and more than willing to answer any questions I had. I thank you for your patience with me. I was worried for my cats first visit it would be bad, but she was so calm with everyone. When it comes to payment, I dont think I can put a price on my pet, but it was very reasonable and I dont make a while lot. I definitely plan on making this my regular clinic. Thank you for all you do

Dr Johnson was so kind, compassionate and knowledgeable! He worked us in as a new patient when our former clinic would not. We are currently waiting test results but so grateful Ruby was able to be seen today, she is a sick dog, and needed care.

My newest addition has been taken care of SOOO well.. and I know I should stop being surprised by now but it still touches me that they treat us SO well. They really do make you feel like family. Our kitty turned 12 weeks old last Saturday and he finally gained weight, has clean ears, and is on track to being the kitty he should always have been. He is happy and getting healthy. We are SOOO grateful to the staff here for helping us.We'll be back again soon for another weight check and more shots 😄

I brought my beautiful yellow cat in. Anyways he needed 1500 up front. Well Vet called back said he'd do the surgery and then adopt him out. That was my baby since he was 7 weeks old. What human takes another person animals like that without trying to help hi client. We've been with them for almost 5 years. I think this is the most inhumane thing you could dddo.Iidodnotrerecommending this ppp

I absolutely love doctor johnson and his team! I've had two c-sections on my french bulldogs, and both procedures have gone sooo smooth, flawless work, and he even assembled an emergency team to come in on a Sunday for one of my dogs. I live two hours away in Omaha, Which has numerous vets to choose from, But I will continue to drive to norfolk because I trust my dogs are in great hands, and I do not trust my babies with just anybody. Thank you doctor Johnson and everybody at norfolk veterinary clinic for your five star service and your genuine compassion and dediction to the well-being of animals in your care!!!

I am petsitting, and the dog I am caring for needed to be seen. The veterinary clinic did a wonderful job of communicating with both the dog's owner and myself. They were very thorough, but also didn't seem to go overboard with unneeded tests or procedures. They handled the dog well (she was scared and a bit snippy). I appreciated the follow up call from the vet to give results of bloodwork, and to ask how the dog was doing.

I went in and had an appointment that I arrived a few minutes early for to get my kittys weight and everything settled for the vet to come in. My appointment was at 2:30 and I got there around 2:25. No one had come in by 3 pm and when I went to ask what was happening, a vet tech (I don’t know her name) was very snarky and asked if I had somewhere else to be and if I wanted to reschedule.I thought this was very rude and unprofessional because I have been coming regularly every 1-2 weeks because my cat has a brain infection, and I have spent close to $600 in a month at this vet clinic.Nothing against the actual vets or the care but costumer service is terrible and if I’m going to be spending that much in your facility, you should at least be courteous and not snarky when it is your employees running behind.I did not feel like my time was respected and they did not come in to tell me that they would be running late or anything. It was very unprofessional and frankly I am never going there again because of this experience.

This is the only place we use to kennels our three dogs, always receiving great care & loving attention from the staff. They seem to genuinely care & listen to your questions and concerns before you leave them. They also get a great shampoo & blow out as well before we pick them up!

Dr Mara is one of the few vets that my animals have loved!!! She will be the only one i will ever take my animals to in the future!!! She has gone more than above and beyond for my poor sick baby Smokey Mayhem!! She put my fears at ease and is more than willing to get to the bottom of what is wrong with my boy. She didnt charge me an arm and a leg to just run unnecessary tests and to get as much money from me as she can. She really cares about her customers and patients and is so communicative and caring for the owner as much as the animals in their care!!! Thank you so much Dr Mara!!! They were the best to deal with. I would go back with no hesitation. People working there were all pleasantly nice to me. My dog "Smoke" was in good hands there. Thank y'all for everything you did. They quoted me a lesser price and found out she actually needed more work, but instead of charging me they kept their word. Came here after not getting answers about what was wrong with our dog at our previous vet and they immediately ran tests and told us exactly what was wrong with her and gave us medicine to fix her. Wish we would have transferred here sooner! They are so thorough and caring for their patients and great at explaining to the owner everything they are doing!

This is one of the best Veterinarian Clinics I have ever visited!!! My cat had absolutely no issues here. She was not stressed at all for the first time visiting a doctor.. which for a pet owner is VERY nice!!!They have separate entrances for cats and dogs.. so if you have those that don't get along you don't have to worry. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to the needs of the furbabies. I would recommend this Clinic to anyone with a furbaby 🐱🐶💚

The staff here is the most caring and understanding I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I had a cat that passed away and a very very young age and as I sat there crying one of the vets, Dr Johnson, stood there with me comforting me and crying right along with me. Their prices are very reasonable and I would not recommend any other Veterinary Clinic.
