I took my mother to HyVee West in Norfolk NE this morning. I am so upset!! My mother is 85 years old, and does not get around very well. But I give her a lot of credit bc she still gets out with help. She has a motorized cart that the battery was running down on. It kept quitting on her and beeping. I understand this, that happens. However, she got in line to pay for her groceries, and it was beeping . The cashier acted SO ANNOYED! My mom is a bit slow, that happens at 85...and the cashier acted SO ANNOYED by that as well. My mom tried to exchange pleasantries with her, talk a bit ..and the cashier was SO RUDE!! I was really getting angry inside at how she treated my mom. My mom has always shopped at HyVee. I do believe we will be going to Lou's Thrifty Way from now on. And to anyone else who takes your elderly parent to HyVee West, avoid a cash register that has a cashier with name tag that reads CeCe. She is rude, condescending, and should be working in the back where she doesn't interact with customers. She apparently doesn't understand the joy older people get from social interactions.

We had our first Wahlburger today. It was very good. This is the first one on the menu, ( single patty). 2nd visit as good as the first. Donnie's burger is excellent as well.

Pretty nice store with a lot of healthy options at pretty reasonable prices! My only quip is that I wish they carried more vegan options like the field roast brand of sausage and frankfurters.

Was great..except I asked the kid bagging not to pack them too heavy. Maybe he didn't hear me..but I could hardly lift them.

I stopped in for a few things while staying in town. This store was clean and well stocked. It did not have the variety of produce that I am used to at the Hy-vee that I frequent. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.

I’m speaking mostly on the Chinese hot food area. Food always dry looking, and portions always different. Workers are different too. One guy nice the other guy barely has a pulse. Especially the young guy tonight (10/4), dishing out food. Dude needs retrained. Small portions and an attitude.

I'm currently living in Gretna where they just opened the biggest Hy-Vee in the country (I think). Trust me, bigger is not necessarily better. Norfolk is awesome! Not to mention friendly. 🎵where there's a helpful smile in every aisle 🎵

Nice store, if they continue to have less and less people at the check outs, I just won't shop there anymore. I will not pay money to get groceries and then work for free checking myself out. Never have and never will!

It was very late and I was hungry. Fortunately I arrived just before closing and was able to grab a quick meal. My server, Nicole was fantastic. She is all about service. And the food, well I've never been served a bad meal yet.

In two words; unAmerican and unprofessional. I saw they had put up flags for Memorial Day, but I noticed that the flags hanging from the ceiling had been hung backwards. The two employees I informed about the error seemed nonchalant and uninterested in correcting it. Even worse, when I went in the next day, it wasn’t fixed. I won’t be returning to this store. Shame on you, Hyvee!

Love this store! Brought a disabled friend to do her shopping today. Ev one of the employees had a big smile and she was treated so well! Exceptionally clean store! Great sales that we were able to take advantage of today. So good we went over her budget...but I chipped in and she is set for at least a month. She was particularly impressed with fresh fruits and veg aisle. Great shopping experience for her and now she will definitely return!

Love this Hy-Vee. They are usually well stocked. We always stop at the gas station to fill up on our way thru the area. Gas stations is clean.

Man this place has gone down hill. I grabbed one of their items that was buy get one free and they charged me for both items. Then when I went to customer service they told me that the customer has to point out if it's buy one get one free or they don't give you the deal. I think this is wrong in so many ways. When I use to work at this store they had the policy that if the item was priced wrong you got the item for free. I guess they don't do this anymore either so they can get around giving you deals or the sales that they supposedly have. I understand it's hard to find help, but it shouldn't be the customers job make sure they get the deals that are clearly marked.

When trying to order a pick up food order for the grill I wasnt told they don't take phone orders 🤦‍♂️which makes no sense. But you answered the phone, how hard is it to take an order over the phone and said had to be thru door dash. So ridiculous

Wearing masks is optional, but seemed like about a third of customers were. Always my go to place for exceptional quality, selection, and value. Love getting Fuel saver points to purchase my gasoline also!
