Really comfortable, relaxed atmosphere with several different types of indoor/outdoor seating. Cappuccino was really good as was the bacon and egg breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. Friendly people served us in an efficient and timely manner. This really met our expectations and we're looking forward to coming back again!!

This place was not good for my first time coming because they were not helpful at all. The customer service was bad and rude .I felt like they were giving us dirty looks. We just simply wanted coffee and this girl with short black hair just gave us a look of disgust so I took my tip back. The coffee was great. The girls not so much. I am a server and I would have tipped great for the coffee but the girls didn’t deserve it . Next time just go to Fenders!

More of this please! Norfolk has really impressed me. This little coffee nook, it's natural lighting and selection of snacks, baked goods and coffee is really charming. Open space. Love the concept. Juice is only done during the summer.

I've been here a handful of times.The lunch rush is crowded and depending on the server (mainly young women), they're not the most enthusiastic. However, they are always polite and the service is fairly quick.The shop is usually clean though they can get behind on picking up after customers.Beverages and food are pretty tasty; some of the pastries can be dry.Overall, it's a great spot to catch up with a friend or for a quick bite!Vegetarian options: They don't have a lot but you can ask to take bacon, ham, etc. offParking: Depends on the time of day, I came right when they opened and got a spot up front.Kid-friendliness: High chairs available and when it is nice out, my son likes their outdoor spots!

Lovely Coffee Shop in downtown Norfolk. Plenty of space for everyone for a group meeting, or nicely designed individual desks for studying. Coffee was good, could been better but you cannot beat the price. Don't go to Starbucks and support this local gem instead.

Cool little coffee shop that serves food. I had the ham and cheese omelet. It looked fantastic, beautifully made; however, the cheese wasn't melted and the ham and mushrooms fell out all over the plate. I probably wouldn't ever order it again. The meat and cheese seemed like an after thought.Although I did not try the oatmeal bar, they looked very tasty. The shop serves them warm and it appeared very popular with the locals. The house coffee is very good.The shop has a patio that looks inviting. The interior has a comfy feel and is welcoming. I would go back.

Overall this is a very cute coffee shop with numerous indoor and outdoor seating options. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast sandwich we had was amazing! That being said, the coffee was not very good. For being a $9 latte, I was very disappointed. It tasted like plain brewed coffee with some flavoring instead of the latte with an extra shot that we ordered. I love exploring coffee shops, but I probably won’t be back to this one.Parking: I found parking just fine but if it is busy downtown it may be more difficult.

I loved the welcoming, unique and creative atmosphere they have cultivated here. The patio area outside was stunning, with multilevel searing and even covered seating areas! My favorite was the top deck area- I can't wait to see it when the trees are full. Also they had a great variety of sugar free syrups for coffee and one of a kind latte options. I liked the tuna sandwich. I had a lovely chat with Kris when she stopped by my table to see how my latte turned out. One of my top favorite coffee shops I have found!

A wonderful little coffee shop! They had a wide selection of drink and baked good options, as well as cold and hot lunch items. There is plenty of space to find a spot to settle in, no matter how busy they are, and there is even a lovely patio area for the warmer months. Service was quick and efficient, even during busy times. Overall, just what we look for in a coffee shop. Very pleased!

Always knew of this place, but never went. Just visited Norfolk for a week and decided to stop by a few times. The coffee of the day was my favorite. The prices were great too.

Love the atmosphere and the layout of Downtown Coffee Co. Great place to study or for having a casual meeting or gathering. I love the fresh carrot ginger juice now offered in the grab-n-go area. I'm also excited to try the freshly ground "bonfire" coffee beans from here. Some of my favorite menu items are their mocha breve, their energy bites, and their chicken salad sandwich. Parking is available in the front and back. And the outdoor patio is probably one of the most beautiful outdoor patios - I especially love the three-tiered deck with seating on each level.

It was nice. It had a warm, inviting atmosphere with cozy seating that invited one to stay and talk awhile. It was where I often arranged meetings with clients. And then they changed it to look like the interior of a MacDonalds. It’s cold. The seating is horribly uncomfortable and uninviting. It’s simply unpleasant to be in. They’ve lost this customer.

Spent my entire lunch break in line waiting to get my order with only one person in line ahead of me. Girl working the register was moving abnormally slow as if she was on something or didn’t know what she was doing as well as making coffees with the two other young girls working instead of tending to the line. Salads are NOT good. And the girls (except the waitress) working just don’t seem to know what they’re doing so not the place for lunch breaks even if you have a to go order. Only go when you have time!! And don’t order the salads

Delicious lunch. I had the roast beef dip and the spouse had a tuna salad. I tasted the tuna salad & it had a bright lime dressing that made it taste so fresh. She also had a cup of coffee that was rich, but not too strong. My sandwich was good, but the beef dip was great. It was more than a bullion cube in a little water. A very nice lunch for a reasonable cost. I think it was less than $20. total for both of us.

So far, I have been here roughly four times. I have never once had a bad experience. The staff is always kind and their service is superb. I highly recommend this quaint, quiet, and cozy coffee shop. Their cuisine rivals their coffee selection. Five stars all around.

This place has an atmosphere that is not common in this area. This is the only sit down modern coffee House in the area. I went with 5 other friends we had grass fed beef burgers and different coffee drinks.My espresso was okey and I would return for another. My friends were given flavored coffee when they asked for drinks like a latte and americano...they were pretty turned off. Wish they were opened on Sunday and presented there products in non disposable cups/plates....really hope they improve...if you like these kind of places you should give them feed back in person... I will next time I'm in..perhaps it will help make the place up to our standards

I have never given any place less than 3 but this place doesn't even deserve one star. First, my wife's smoothie had no banana flavoring in her smoothie, which she paid extra. When she said something they said they would add more and never did. Then, we ordered a 12.00 philly sandwich on a toasted bun. My wife ordered a French dip, 8.00. When we received them the bun was rock hard. Also, one side was completely black from being burned. I took 35 minutes for these sandwiches to be made. Such a disappointment. When we mentioned the burned buns, the young lady walked away and we were avoided the rest of the meal. I recommend going to OMAHA NE and eating at CHARLESTONS to get much better food.

Great service. I had a delicious chiller mocha coffee and was pleased they had plenty of tasty choices of desserts I went with the lemon blueberry cake and it was excellent.
