Hotel is well maintained and clean. The pool and hot tub were great. Staff are friendly and helpful.There is a 6kwh EV charger in the parking lot, but I had an issue twice with folks in pickups parking in front of it or taking up two spaces to block the charger. Very childish behavior, but at only 6kwh I suppose I wasn’t missing out on much charging. There is a high speed charger downtown, so that might be a better/cheaper option.The hotel location makes it easy to find the hotel and get onto the highway to travel to nearby destinations, although hearing semis air braking was a little annoying.Rooms: The rooms were clean and well maintained. The bathroom door stop could stand to be move back further so the doors open wider, but it wasn’t the end of the world.Nearby activities: Plenty of tourist traps related to Arbor Day - definitely worth checking some of those out.Walkability: There’s a Subway and gas station across the parking lot, and a Walmart about 2 blocks north.

It's a dated but well-kept hotel.The supposedly queen sized beds were smaller, probably full/ double sized. Our family of four spent just one night during our long road trip, and were too tired to complain when we checked into the room. And didn't bring it up at checkout time either. It wasn't going to help.Rooms: Beds were advertised as queen, but we found them to smaller, may be full/double.Walkability: There's a Walmart nearby.Food & drinks: The omlette in breakfast had pork in it, which we don't eat, so we requested and were provided with hard-boiled eggs. Very helpful staff.Noteworthy details: Nice indoor swimming pool and hot tub that're open until 11 pm.

Great value for the price. Room was clean and large but a little outdated. Checkin coukd have been friendlier. Breakfast was great considering price and hotel size.Not sure why they don't honor the expedia price. Booked the room at the front desk on expedia to save $20. Then they have to share 20% with expedia. Doesn't make sense from ownership perspective.Definitely stay there again

BEST HOTEL EVER!! I LOVEEE the amazing customer service. The two sweet ladies at the front found me a room when I was driving all night long and couldn’t find anywhere else. They were so sweet. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. This place is a 10/10!!! Best customer service I’ve had in a long time. Made my day. Also, they have the best donuts ever in the mornings :)

Nice ppl but they cheated me out of 250+ for 2 nights in a bad situation. Prices listed online ARE NOT ACCURATE and this hotel DOES NOT HAVE SET RATES is the reason why i was told. Will never be back and lesson learned for Christmas vacation cause these ppl(Edit to response: i said nothing about google now did i (12-1-23))

Great location, just off the highway as you’re pulling into town.It’s a quaint hotel and, thankfully, we were given a room on the first floor.Immediately my kids took advantage of the indoor pool. It was a nice size and appeared very clean. There was also a nice size jacuzzi/spa to ache those long-distance traveling bones.While the rooms could use an update the beds were comfortable and clean.We didn’t participate in the breakfast as it seemed rather cramped in small area. But that was just my personal preference so we traveled down the road to McDonalds.

We went to visit family and stayed at the Best Western because it was easily accessible from the interstate and close to family. Right from the gate, very courteous very professional and super accommodating when we asked for extra towels.The room was clean for the most part. You could tell where somebody rubbed a little thing or two on the wall from their nose. I don't think I need to be specific. We always carry Clorox wipes with us, so we wiped it. No harm no foul problem solved.We wanted to put some bottles of water in the refrigerator, but it was turned down. So my wife pulled it out so she can turn the temperature up and there had to been about a quarter inch of dust on top of the fridge. Again we used one of the towels, got it wet, wiped it.The bed was clean, the sheets were fresh, the pillows were perfect. Yes, we pulled all sheets back including the top sheet to check the mattress to check the cleanliness of the sheets. Everything was perfect. When checking out, we told them what we found and we told them that we handled it and that the maid service needs to pay a little bit more attention to details as such. However, we will be back! Probably one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in in a long time keep up the great work!

Good hotel that provides exactly what need for a quick overnight stay. Friendly and helpful staff who made it easy to check in and offered great advice on where to eat. Breakfast was good. Standard free breakfast but the eggs were a step above average hotel eggs.Rooms: Clean standard rooms. Nothing fancy but they are exactly what a value traveler needs.Safety: Felt like a safe little town with no issues or concerns.Food & drinks: Try little Ted's for a burger. Gas station next door closes early.Noteworthy details: Pool and workout center are open late.

I had to come to Ne City to be with family for a rather sad reason. I choose to stay at the Best Western because my husband and I usually try and stay at one wherever we go.From the moment I checked in the front desk was professional. The rooms were clean and put together nicely. I ended up staying longer than expected and they were great about it. The hot breakfast in the morning was so nice to have. And the variety of tea was a bonus! The room was quiet and the channels offered on the t.v. were great even though I didn't watch a lot. I will definitely stay here again if I come this way. Thank you for a great stay Best Wester!

This is an older BW and the facility shows it. The room and bathroom were dark and kind of dingy, and the carpet was sticky in places and could really use a good shampooing. Breakfast was minimal, and we ate in town instead. The checkin person was curt and seemed bored with us. Not the best BW, but in the right place at that point in our trip.

Young girl working was very friendly. The room is a good size and is very clean. Location seems pretty quiet and is right next to a gas station and subway. Its also very close to restaurants just down the street. Beds are very comfortable.. pool is larger than most hotels my daughters enjoyed that a loy. Breakfast wasn't very impressive and was fairly cold when I got there. That would be my only complaint.

It would have been a great stay had the pool been open. We were not informed during check-in that the pool was not useable. After being on the road for 10 hours we were really looking forward to sitting in the hot tub and a swim in the pool. Upon going out to grab a bite to eat we noticed a sign on the pool door POOL CLOSED. We were able to get a refund and the front desk person was very nice and understanding.

All was good when we arrived, the hotel was clean, friendly check-in, pool was out of order, but the hot tub was open. We had opted to stay here to get a good night's sleep before a friend accompanied my young daughter back to NC out of Omaha. The trouble we had was with the AC unit. Around 9:00 we were getting ready to turn in but the room was warm so I tried to turn on the AC & it didn't start. I went to the desk & the GM told me they were "temperamental" & turning it as low as it could go usually reset it so I did that & it kicked on, great! ...At 3:00 am I woke up sweeting & my friend was already awake...I tried resetting it, no luck. I turned the fan on in hopes of pulling in the cool outside air. By 3:30 I went to talk to the auditor about it, no other rooms were available, she offered to check it & an oscillating fan. I declined her checking it since I had done what was suggested by the GM & I didn't want my daughter woke, if at all possible.When I contacted the GM by phone to follow up she stated they "didn't find a problem" & basically implied I was lying. I'm fairly mechanical & the only thing I can think of is the compressor possibly froze up & had thawed out... what really bothers me is the way I was treated when I tried to be patient, considerate, & all I wanted was an adjustment of my fee due to NOT receiving a functional, pleasant room.Positives of the hotel are that it was clean, great breakfast (fresh fruit), a hot hot tub & the beds were comfortable...if only the temperature had been!In hindsight I should have insisted on a new room immediately or told them to hike up & run it through the reset themselves so it was documented!

Great Stay!!! Again!!! Not a lot of options for hotels in this area, but this one is by far the best!! They are very accommodating with room details! Breakfast was good, hot and there were several options to choose from! Staff was friendly and helpful! Pool area, fitness center and breakfast area all well taken care of! Have stayed several times! Our go to place!!

One of the nicer hotels, especially a Best Western, I’ve stayed at in a while. Smallish overall hotel but, very well maintained updated accommodation with clean very spacious rooms, mine was a full suite with a wet bar, a couch, two TVs, and two air conditioners. I highly recommend this Best Western if you’re near Nebraska City. Again I’ve stayed at over a half-dozen BW locations all over the country this year and this was the Best Best Western of 2022 that I’ve been to.

Very nice clean place. Most of the staff is very nice and friendly. Pool area clean and inviting. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Rooms were hot, even with snow on the ground both we and our son had to turn the air on in our rooms But still a great room. Price is ok, not great, but you get a good continental breakfast!!

Inexpensive next to the interstate. Staff friendly and helpful.No outside benches anywhere, you stand in the sun if you want to step out for a smoke. Room AC cooled air but didn't pull a drop of moisture out of it. Bath faucet in 208 would not dispense hot water. It shut itself off. Bath fan just recirculated the air, stirring one's foul smells thru the room for hours. Approach with tempered expectations.

When we arrived, our room was 60 degrees. We adjusted the temp and left to find some food. When we returned, we went to turn on the TV. Nothing. I lifted the handset on the phone in the room to call the front desk; it was dead. I walk down to the desk and the person comes to the room. She assessed the problem and left to find another remote. When she returned we were informed there are no more TVs or remotes. So, we climb into bed. OMG the bed sucks!!! The one thing a hotel should get right is the bed. Never again.

The hotel was clean. Breakfast was great. We went to breakfast in the last half hour and the staff happily refilled the pancake/waffle batter for us. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They even gave each one of our girls a 24 pack of crayons and a coloring book. All staff greeted us with a hello or good morning. It's right off highway 2, but it was still quiet. This was an awesome hotel with reasonable rates!
