Me and buffy went here for a quick burger stop. Very homey and comforting. Burgers were good and service was fair for a local place! But the atmosphere definitely made me feel like I was at a local dinner! If I ever pass by Loop City I'd go there again! It was also a little confusing when you had to go up and pay, when nobody told you too! Other than that it was lovely!

I ordered two eggs over hard, bacon fried crispy and white toast! Hubby ordered biscuits and gravy with two eggs over easy! Everything was cooked to perfection! Biscuits and gravy where some of the best biscuits and gravy he's ever had! Highly recommend this restaurant! Prices and service both were good!

What a find on a Sunday morning taking back roads from Tucson to Minneapolis! I had a delicious breakfast sandwich and my friend had the buffet which she said had great variety and was very good. Highlight was chatting with the people who worked there as well as the locals . Don't miss the Loup City diner!

Best breakfast buffet! Everything is delicious, and service is great! We are from Kearney, went to Sherman Lake one Sunday and decided to stop for breakfast. Will definitely go back again when we go through Loup City.

It was AWESOME food! Hand pressed hamburger patties, huge slice of beef steak tomato and yummy crinkle cut fries!! I loved the food and the waitress, she was very polite!

Great food, friendly people. If you're a local, it's likely they'll know you by name and family. If you're an out-of-towner like me, they'll know all the places you should check out while you're visiting. The Rueben, Hot Beef, and salad bar are all pretty good. It can be pretty busy, so if you're in a real rush, hit up the salad bar. It's got more than your typical lettuce combinations, and can fill you up on the go.

I had the lunch special. The fried chicken was not fresh fried it was warmed over, not good. Was more like a TV dinner. Won't go back any time soon. The bathroom was clean!
