The cashiers, 2 of the 3, were rude; resulting in no stars! I have used the Ace Hardware at 14th & Superior for over 8 years, since moving to this neighborhood. I have enjoyed this local store versus the bigger stores; and, on my latest visit, bought numerous items to restore a wooden crib and replacement light bulbs. I didn’t use any items for the crib and the bulbs didn’t work in the touch lamp. I had the receipt and tried to return the items, and was not allowed to return as it was older than 30 days. No where on the receipt did it say returns must be made within 30 days, nor was it stated anywhere in the store. See attached receipt, front and back. It does say, “No hassle returns. We will fix it, exchange it, or return your money. Your receipt guarantees it!” NOT TRUE. I walked out with the same sack and receipt I walked in with. For $38, they lost a customer.UPDATE: per the response from the owner, I went to the website, filled out the form requesting response, and I’ve heard nothing back from the owner, manager, or a store representative. They have a great employee (Scott) whom I had interacted with and provided exceptional service in store, but not good customer service for cashier, manager, or owner per their response/form I completed on-line.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Came for some gardening equipment and a push button latch. Didn’t know where they were at, and after asking a staff member, they brought me right to what I was looking for. Will definitely be making this a regular stop for hardware and landscaping needs!

Will not go to this store again. Receipt says guaranteed returns with receipt, which is not true! Nothing was opened or used and could have easily been sold again. Will not be going back.

Friendly people, and they always try their best to help you. I recently needed a security torx bit and they found one they had in the store and unscrewed the part for me instead of making me buy one, saving me a lot of time and money.

I was the annoying customer that came in 10 min before closing tonight and had the employees digging in the back room for a specific fire pit that I wanted. The man that helped me was super nice and went above and beyond to help. Then the shift leader was accommodating and helpful too. Wish I got their names but it was whoever closed the store tonight. Excellent customer service!!

They were extremely helpful. I didn't catch the gals name when she was helping me. She made me about 3 keys, she helped me look for a dimming lightbulb (which is nearly impossible these days, since everything is in LED), then she also helped me cut some ball chain for my medical Dog tags. Overall I spent a little bit more money than I would've liked, but when you have overly helpful people. I'd rather spend my money where I'm appreciated.

Pretty good selection of plants for being a smaller state than the big box stores. Similar prices to the bigger stores on some garden items but not all. Downloading the app and signing up for rewards gets you a $5 off $5 coupon right away and a new coupon or two every month (things like $7 off of $20).

I recently bought a chainsaw here and had a great experience. Even though the chainsaws were going quickly (sold a handful just that morning), I found one that meets my needs. I'm a newb with chainsaws, so I had a lot of questions. The gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions. He showed me how to operate and maintain the chainsaw and helped me find the best deal.I've never had any problems at this store and they seem to have a good selection of tools. I'll be back.

Top notch customer service always. A little pricey but exactly what you would expect from a smaller hardware store vs. a Menards or Home Depot. But if you want 'Hands On" Customer service this is your place.

There good, I didn't get everything I ordered, no worries I went in today and got my items. With social distancing I was down the hall way, they had 2 casters going and it went pretty fast. Great people, always greet you when you come in the store and they always ask you if they can help. Thanks Ace Hardware you guys Rock

I love this place it has a small town feeling to it. They are always ready to help you find what you are looking for. Items maybe cost a little more but I don't mind because the convenience and customer service is money well spent. I love their sales and I will continue to do my business there. Thanks guys for making all my shopping stops pleasant!

Bought some nice potted flowers at 50% off. Big hanging pot of double impatients for $8.00 to .80 cents for little 6-pk of pansies. They seems to be growing and healthy. Had some pretty cool butterfly solar lites, (that I haven't seen before) there too. Very clean & nice store, inside & out!

Easy place to buy hardware supplies, quick to get in and out. Staff is always helpful and the store is well laid out. One can go in and find the item needed quickly. There is always someone to answer questions or to help you find what you need . They will take you right to what you want and then make sure it's correct. Both QP locations are great with customer service.

Great place to find just about anything you need from yard work to home repairs. Small town feeling and there is always someone there to greet you when you walk in the doors. Hasn't been a time where they were short on help and I couldn't find something prices are slightly higher but the concierge service makes up for it.

Paul the service manager there is excellent at repairing window screens, lawn mowers, chain saws and more. He has a quick turn over rate and it is a good price for quality work. Truly a professional.

You can have UPS packages delivered here and they actually give them to you, unlike the UPS store on old Cheny which has sent back multiple packages because they like to close early and are not competent enough to find a package even with the tracking info given to them. Also, ACE has some good sales. Great service.

Great helpful staff. Good selection of needed materials including plaster of paris in a larger bag! Location on North 14th is close to my hair dresser so I stop here monthly for art supplies after I get my hair cut! They even have popcorn hot and fresh each time I'm in.

We love going in there because it's so close and accessible. Never have had a bad experience. Disappointed tonight though when my husband walked in five minutes before closing to pick up one tube of caulking. He was greeted with "you better hurry up, we close in five minutes" to which my husband replied, "okay I'll go to Menards." And took his business elsewhere. I'd advise that employee that perhaps that's not the best way to greet someone, even if they walk in five minutes before the store closes...

Called for John D several times and he was either not in or in a meeting so not wasting my time with that anymore. How can someone at another store help anyway? I'll check other stores for the product.Told cashier I couldn't find a product I had bought before and an Associate said she would send someone to help me if I would go to that aisle. I went back to that aisle and after looking and waiting for some time and no one came, went and checked out. Walked past that Associate who was chatting with another. Never sent anyone and this has happened before.
