Good old-fashioned hardware store. Not a lumber yard or an appliance store, rather an actual hardware store. Notably makes keys, has blade sharpening for yard tools, and screen repair at selected locations. The only place I can reliably find Terro yard stakes in Lincoln. Also knowledgeable, helpful staff. My only complaint is that I wish it was bigger, but that's not the Ace model and their tight focus serves them well. Recommended!

Way over priced. I know it is about convenience, but when an item is 3 times the price of Menards, I will drive a couple miles. If it was more reasonable, I would be willing to shop here.

Every single one of the people who work here are awesome. Tons of knowledge to give and plenty of ideas to help with your project. Just want to walk in, get a hammer and get out? You can do that too, just give them a quick head nod and they will pick up what you are putting down.I like the way you can use the app in conjunction with the store. I just added this store as my favorite location and now I see the weekly ads in the app. It's an extra reminder of how great Ace hardware is!

Amazing! I called ahead to ask if they had any boxes I could take off their hands as my in laws were moving and we ran out of boxes. The ladies were so helpful and the manager (never got her name) was so eager to help, take us back to the cardboard container and get some usable boxes! Hands down the best interaction I've had with some on in customer service in a while!

Growing up (im 35) everybody at Ace knew everything there was to know that you needed to know. And everyone was more than willing to pay a little extra for that knowledge. While the price increases have continued the knowledge has not.

Great local hardware store. Has a great selection of repair items and house hold items. Great helpful staff always willing to help. Much quicker and many times less expensive than big box stores because you can buy exactly what you need in the quantity you need at the time. Plus many small individual items box stores do not have. No messing around with rebates.

This is my new go to hardware store, they have had everything I've looked for and have plenty of knowledgeable associates to find stuff and give advice. On top of many of the things you would expect from a hardware store they have a really good selection of grlling apparatus, seasonings, sauces, and marinades. 7/5/23 Still a great store now under the Westlake Ace franchise.

We have shopped at this Ace since we moved to Lincoln 5 years ago and always had good service. This morning i went into the store with a Stihl chainsaw I bought about 18 months ago. The first time i went to use it i found out they had installed the chain backward so it wouldn't cut anything! So I just put it up and didnt want to mess with it. Last night i tried to reverse the chain and had a real hard time getting the bolt out of the chain bar it wouldn't loosen up and when it came off it stayed attached to the cover. Keep in mind Ace put this together at this store. So this morning we needed to use the saw to make room for a hot tub delivery. So i went into the store with the saw in pieces. I was told I needed to take it across town to the service center for repairs. The lady at the counter tried loosening the bolt with no luck as I tried to tell her. I told her that it hadn't been put together right by there store in the first place and wanted the saw replaced. I was told by, I believe the manager that I had bought the saw when the place was under different ownership and they wouldn't have any record of my purchase and they couldn't do anything for me. Then he proceeded to try and loosen the nut with no luck..lol This is no way to handle a customer and I let him know that! I took The saw right to the Stihl Authorized dealer TCA Outdoor Power the tech took one look and chuckled said they stripped out the bolt by over tightening it. The saw is still under full warranty! 15 min later I was on my way with a working chainsaw! I wont ever set foot in Westlake Ace Hardware again!And I hope Ace Hardware Corporate know how there operators run there store! Not the Neighborhood friendly hardware store we have been accustomed to.

This Ace Hardware location. Has a limited selection compared to other around town. It dose seem to be stocked well for they do have. They are also are one of the most experience in general.The staff is friendly and always helpful. But don't see quite as knowledgeable. As one would hope for. When entering a hardware store.The store has always been clean and keeped well organized.If you need to make a quick in and out trip. It can be pretty handy. As you don't have to walk a mile to get to one end to the next.

These are the best associates in a store I have ever encountered. I was in today to get a new key for my car and there was take all over the inner part of my key fob. This was not Ace Hardwares doing but they fixed and cleaned the inside and made sure it would work. I was in the store for over 2 hrs waiting and the customer service was phenomenal. Everyone who has anything to do with customer service should take time to study this location. Thank you all!

I'm giving at least two stars because I've always appreciated the friendliness and local feel of the Ace Hardwares here in Lincoln. So the experience I had with them this time was definitely surprising and out of character for them, to say the least.On their local newspaper ad that we receive at our home, they listed a Stanley Folding Sawhorse that was on sale. I went to the store to pick one up, and they didn't have any in stock. That's understandable - and one of the employees there put in an online order. They kindly offered to have it shipped to my house or shipped to the store, and I said the store was fine, I could just come pick it up. They said it would probably take about a week or so. I agreed - and, even received a yellow slip copy of the order receipt.About a week and a half later, I called in to check on the status of my order. They said they weren't sure and were guessing that it just 'hadn't came in yet'.So, I waited another week, but did not hear anything. I went in to the store just to finally go in and pick it up as I assumed they had just forgot to call me.When I got there and inquired, not only did my order apparently never get placed/fulfilled, but they said they are no longer offering that Sawhorse and that I would not be able to get that deal. I showed them the literal newspaper ad that I had received from them with the product right there - and they said there was nothing they could do.Now, I have worked years in retail, restaurants, and customer service - I understand things happen and everyone forgets things. But to leave the customer with absolutely no solution - and barely an apology - was what led me to leave this review. If you really couldn't get this sawhorse from the warehouse, that's okay - but to make the customer wait two weeks and then just throw up your hands "welp, nothing we can do" - especially when the customer had even called in to check on it a week earlier - is pretty shocking to me. There were multiple points in this transaction where this situation could have been remedied, but sadly, none of those opportunities were taken. I left feeling very disappointed in this Ace location, and also left with the knowledge to not trust the newspaper deals that they offer. I hope that this was just an unusual occurrence for them.

Went to pickup an online order and found out there that it was a display model, had obvious signs of use (dings, small dents and dirty) but they werent able to offer any sort of discount. Had to refuse the order. Was very excited to get what I purchased, but was a complete letdown, call ahead of pickup time to find out if your order is truly what you paid for. I even called to check the order was ready, never mentioned anything about it being out of the box or on display.

I went and bought a brand new Toro mower,Marvin was a big help with me. He said the mower wasn't put together yet. And it's supposed to be done by 11:00 on May 23rd. 20 21Marvin went out of way to get it together. He was very polite and nice. He shook my hand and thanked me for shopping there. I've been their customer ever since my local Tru-Value closed and Ace opened up. Very helpful and knowledgeable employees. From every day necessities to off-the-beaten-path oddities, if they don't have it, you don't need it! And the popcorn is always free!

Always someone who has some knowledge of their product, even some very helpful ideas. I'm a master plumber and quite often I am closer to them then my supplier. Not very often are they out of what I need. Love these guys!

Recently, I went in looking for a lawn mower on two different occassions. In both instances, I left with more information than I expected. Not only was it an informative experience but the gentleman assisting me had significant experience with the products. This isn't the only location I have had the pleasure of experiencing such great customer service. Clearly, the ownership of this company knows how to meet the needs of their customer base with a knowledgeable staff and excellent product selection!

Great customer service, and occasionally they have a good sale. Unfortunately, their prices are still often a little higher than the "big box stores." If you're willing to pay a little more for great customer service and friendly advice, then this is the place for you.

I really like this particular QP store. I mainly go there when I'm buying paint or summer gardening supplies. They're really helpful. I like that I can run in & get what I want fast. I hate the hike you have to take at most hardware stores. I'm disabled and can't walk very far.

When you come into the store, there is someone available to help right away. I provided my email so now I always know about upcoming sales. The only place to go especially if you are not certain which would be the best item to use for whatever you are working on. The best hardware store that suits my needs.

Keep it local people. Their staff is always helpful. They are much more customer oriented than you Home Depot's and Lowe's. Prices aren't much different than your big stores.

Customer service here is consistently excellent, prices competitive, and you don't end up wandering around an enormous store looking for something or someone to assist you. I easily go here for purchases versus Menard's, Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart, etc, and will continue to do so. This place is highly recommended!

Great store. I came in here with a few questions about paint. The guy knew all about it and was able to answer every question. At Home Depot or Lowe's you get a knowledgeable person hit or miss.
