Based on numerous reviews with the same story of extremely long detention times and a complete lack of concern by anyone dealing with drivers (customers), one can only deduce that it’s in the culture of the facility. It’s not an oddity to encounter my situation here. It seems to be the norm. And because it hasn’t been changed, it’s obviously become accepted by those in charge. Once that happens, it never improves. Good luck. I won’t be back. One of the niceties about owning my truck/company is that I can choose where I go or don’t go. And I won’t be back.

Not bad place to deliver. After the car / employee parking next turn is for deliveries if you get to round about you past it. Ring the bell at the gate they open park where you see all the other trucks in front of dock doors. Walk your paperwork to receiving near dock door 25. If they have a door they will give you one if not wait in truck they will call. Plenty of room to back. Once unload is done you get green light park over by trucks again and they call when paperwork is done. They unload fast. Depending on truck traffic may be awhile to get paperwork back.

The People are nice but slow paced workers. Why make an early morning appointment if you can't hold up your end of the bargain and have to pay a lumper fee to be unloaded but been here since 0500 and almost 3 hours later I'm not unloaded yet haven't even started. If you have to wait 2hrs past your appointment time to be unloaded I don't think they should get their lumper fee.

If the option to give a zero was available…. Every time is terrible experience. That staff hate their jobs if not life in general. They want to fight about everything especially when you ask a question. Place is hands down one of the dirtiest places I’ve stepped foot in. The designated smoke area is right where you walk into the building so you have to walk through the staff that are always on a smoke break(I watched one member take 7 breaks while waiting for a door in a 45 minute time frame). And I wonder why it takes 4 hrs for them to unload 2 pallets. And then it takes them another hour to process the paperwork or longer. Be prepared to wait and deal with rude staff members.

Very simple process guys follow the signage to the entry gate, press the button at the gate they will open it pull through and directly to your left is staging Park there take paperwork inside fill out sheet for checkin. I got lucky in a sense I got a door instantly #36 but lady said it will be awhile till they start due to lots of freight sitting in front of the doors so once they put it away then they'll get to me my appt 9am got here 8:45am they marked it as 8:50am I got into a door instantly but they started unloading around 11am and finished by noon once the red switches to green pull back to the staging and wait for the call simple as that.Plenty of room for backing and maneuvering and dock spaces are far enough apart you can open and close trlr doors slide tandems to the rear and play the waiting game. There are signs for safety vests but I've seen plenty of people go in without one and not get turned away so do so at your own risk I can't say anything about the lumper fee cause my load was prepaid but hopefully this helps definitely have been to way worse sysco facilities lmao ...... receiving check in is door 24

Had a 09:00 hours appointment, didn't have a door ready until around 10:15 hours. Finally got unloaded and had to wait until 12:30 hours to get checked out and released. Otherwise a decent place.

What’s the point making 5 am appointment if the first pallet is taken off after 9 AM?To make sure drivers are tired and frustrated before going back on the road?Apparently Sysco can’t handle unloading of their own loads, it’s way too sophisticated for them. So they use worthless lumper services.I will stay away from this location in future.

Sysco Lincoln NB you let me down. My first time delivering here. Trucks on each side of me have come and gone twice now. Im still sitting unloaded. So long in fact I've had to cancel my next load because I can't pick up on time. I have been on dock #27 since 0500 7/26/23. Currently been here 4.75 hours and still waiting!. I'll pass on accepting future loads to this location. If you can't manage your incoming loads better than this maybe you need to space out loads or actually hire people that can unload and count. Detention pay doesn't pay enough to spend a day here. The only reason I'm giving 2 Stars is because the Lady in Receiving that checked me in was super nice and helpful. Remember your employees are paid hourly...OTR drivers are not!***Update: at 1:34 PM I got a green light. This is a total of 9 hours I've been here now. Time was 0500Check in at 04:00Got in door 04:15Got red light 04:30Got green light 08:17Got lumper text 09:05Got bills back 09:30Was told you can check in at 03:30Its first come first servedNo overnight parking in gates but outside the gate you can overnight parkI think they stop unloading at 11am or 12pm I got here a day before my appointment to see if they will take me early it was 12pm and they said they would but they had already stop accepting deliveries. would def say get there as early as possible the street parking fills up pretty quickly. The girl in the early morning is very rude she doesn’t speak she just sits there and look at you like your supposed to already know what door your supposed to be in. My guess is if you have a big load your gnna be there for a while they get the little loads out the way first no matter how long you been there before them.

Sat here for 6 hours waiting to be unloaded. Broker called and asked what the hold up was and they finally locked me in for unload then just took off for lunch. There is 2 company's that take freight here and it's Sysco and another from what I heard. They block docks with freight but won't put it away and if your door gets blocked you won't get unloaded till that person puts the freight away. Sounds like a bunch of kids working here wanting more money but refuse to work and charge lumper fee to unload you when it may already cost your company money because your made to sit and wait. Will be charging detention pay for stealing 8 hours of my day.

Was a little concerned after reading some bad reviews here. I also know a lot of people write reviews only when unhappy with service. Checked in 0714 when my live load appt was 10am. Got a door right away. Light turned red 0801. Green light 0838; text with lumper fee, 0843. Took my Dispatch at least 40 minutes to get a money code. Took my payment inside and they said come back in about 10 minutes for the paperwork. It took about 20 minutes for the paperwork, and I was leaving at 1005, five minutes after my live load had originally been scheduled.

We deliver to a lot of Sysco s this one is by far the worst always plan on 5hrs or better today is no exceptions 3 hrs in the door before they even started ridiculous but we have to take the bad with the good I guess

I honestly didn't see what was so wrong with this place I had a 6am appointment got a door 30 minutes later and was unloaded in just under two hours maybe being a company driver it's not as stressful as opposed to owner/operators 🤷‍♂️ overall pretty good service

45 minutes before appointment, 4 pallets 6 items over 7hr. Later I'm getting to leave. Two hrs to unload the rest was the receiving. 11 months later and the place is not a good place to deliver too. 5 hours later for 7 items on 6 pallets..and Josh has no idea. This time in and out in a timely manner. First time in five years I can say that.
