Diner located in Lincoln Nebraska on 48th between Old Cheney and Hwy 2.Food 5* Chicken fried steak was the 2nd best in Lincoln we have tried! Gravy had nice pieces of meat, great flavor and texture. Eggs cooked over easy as requested. Hash browns are actually sliced potatoes, believe they are grilled. I liked them, but husband prefers the more traditional hash browns. We tried their Sunday special, grilled cinnamon roll. Glad I tried it! It was really delicious, took half home with me as it was very large. Husband chose the cinnamon raisin bread which did not disappoint. Super thick bread, it was delicious!Service 5* our server was Charlee and she did a great job. Checked in on us throughout the meal and our order was correct. Heard a few tables next to us have some issues with food or missing items but the servers took care of it right away.Atmosphere 5* Our booth was clean and restaurant was inviting. Love all the baked goods they have for sale as you walk in the door and pay your check. This was our first experience at Stauffer’s and won’t be our last!Parking: Free parking lot. Stauffer’s is in shopping center area. Parking lot is shared with all the businesses. Plenty of parking when we went on a Sunday morning around 10am.

Come here for the pie. We tried the banana cream and reduced sugar coconut cream. Both tasted like summertime. The other food was good but not as good as the pie. Pretty standard diner fare. We ordered veggie omelette with hash browns and sour dough toast, and the spinach salad. Server was friendly and efficent.

This is a new spot for me. Party of two ordered coffees, breakfast with 2 extra sides, bill was $35. Definitely a bustling spot. Lots of families coming in for breakfast together. Service was wonderful, I was checked in several times. The menu was simple but had enough for me to find something I liked. The pie menu is insane and I would love to come back and try each and every one of them. I will be back.

Busy breakfast but minimal wait. Food was good. Pretty standard breakfast menu with decent prices and large portions. Liked that you can choose style of breakfast hash browned potatoes. Trued the cinnamon roll on two different visits. First time, it was amazing. the second time it was just ok and didn't have as much flavor. Service was prompt and attentive. Atmosphere is typical diner environment.Pies are available in different flavors by the slice or order whole pies. Overall, it's a decent place to get breakfast.

Obviously your employees know the difference between Service Dogs and Emotional Support Animals. We have been refused service in other States where the employees and EVEN OWNERS didn't know the ADA Federal Law. We always sit down anyway because my spouse is blind and has a Guide Dog from Guide Dogs of America . It should be obvious (and it is). It is still very rare and has only happened 4 times in our 45 States of travel. It's all about education, and obviously thats what you've done with your employees. Thank you SO MUCH for the great food and service!Vegetarian options: The Michigan Salad was fantasticDietary restrictions: Gluten free items are available.

Lived in Lincoln for many years and wanted to try Stauffers for the first time. What a unorganized mess. Waited to put our name in for a table as there was a wait, put our name in, watched as the girl wrote it down. They called the three groups ahead of us... We left not only based on our wait and being skipped but those that were seated we could tell were having bad service. It's like they need an employee meeting to go over a plan for when they are slammed e.g. who is the only point person as people enter, who is the back up for that person, who is the expediter at the cook window, who is bussing tables, who is refilling and getting drinks as back up to wait staff....common sense restaurant management stuff.

For being a local cafe with down home service and cooking, I'd give Stauffer's a 5! Very small town feel and Midwest offerings on the menu like Deep Fried Chicken Livers & Gizzards!Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and all 3 can be ordered anytime of day. The bakery is on site, hence 44 fresh pies on the menu, including quite a few sugar free options! In business since 1996.

This place came recommended to us by a local at another shop. While the food wasn't bad, it definitely wasn't great. I myself had a fruit bowl & Lemon Poppy seed muffin which were fine in their own right. My companions ate more breakfasty items. The pancakes were HUGE & not in a good way. The sausage while having good flavor, was a little too crispy (burnt) and very greasy. The hashbrowns were just mushed potatoes with seasoning and maybe some cheese. Now, this place isn't bad at all. It's definitely loved but a lot of the older community (45+) & therefore has a special place in this community for a nice Sunday Hangout, but they could use a slight recipe upgrade. Other than that, the food came hot (or cold in my case as fruit should) and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Try it for yourself and see if it's a taste you'd enjoy. For me, it wasn't a favorite. Here is my lovely fruit bowl with a frosted Lemon Poppy Seed muffin.

Nothing was bad, instead everything was generic and badly overpriced. The 14$ hot beef was dry, gravy was McCormick standard, mashed potatoes from a box. The pie had 3 slices of fruit and was half crumble. No drink and still 22$ before tip. This was a 5 minute 5$ meal bought at Walmart and made in the microwave gouging the over 60 crowd with nostalgia. The wait staff was friendly and active.
