The Havelock Russ' is my neighborhood grocery store , for many years I've been going there and have always had a pleasant and non drama visit! The employees are very friendly and always over the top helpful.

This is a "small town" grocery store. Some prices are higher then walmart but specials can be much lower. The staff are always very kind and it's easy to find suprises here. This is my favorite Russ's

The fruit trays were disgusting. The blueberries were smashed and deflated when you touched them and the grapes were soft and grainy on the inside. Nasty

It is an older russ's but what it lacks in style it more than makes up for in personality, it's a bit like Havelock itself, something from the past that somehow survived future,the dying old breed that refuses to conform, I only give it 4 stars because, well, it doesn't want that 5th star, then it would have to start carrying charcuterie

Very good prices, and the people are absolutely wonderful... They updated things several years ago, and it's even better than it used to be. Bigger selection, better produce.Fast forward 2 years; still awesome, but the deli/bakery has taken a hit. I assume it's because of lack of demand. Sad, but still awesome store.Okay it's 2023 now, and the deli is just a little bit shakier than it was before. They're actually looking to hire people for the deli, so if you're one of the people who likes that kind of stuff, you should go for it. Anyway...... It's still super awesome for selection.

Locally owned grocery store. This grocery store along with many others in our area carries local brands. (You can get Amigos Ranch/spicy sauce, etc!!!)Russes had a great bakery section. Ordered our wedding cakes from here back in 2013, and still continue to love their desserts, donuts, and breads available.They are a little pricier on some items, so as usual shop around to the other grocery stores in Lincoln if your looking for a bargain on things.

Used to love coming here. But the increase in prices and decrease in worker quality made sure I will never go there again. Another Havelock staple out the door.Just a bunch of kids that want to close early and screw around in the open front door not even letting customer's in.

They are a consistent staple provider to Havlockians and University Placeates. Did you need beer? They have that too. Wine, yep. The parking lot is stable, large and pretty safe. Except you may see another local and get trapped in a 30 minute Nebraska Hello and 45 minute goodbye.Yes they have High Life, Prosecco not always.Eat or die.

I have shopped this Russ's Market location since my 37 year old daughter was about 4 years old! Man am I getting old...lol...Nahhh! Age is just a number right? I have always liked the selections of produce, fresh deli items, shelf stock, cleanliness, and how friendly the staff have always been! I'll continue to shop there when I am in Lincoln (as I currently reside about 45 miles away from the Lincoln area now) its one of my favorites!

Staff was friendly upon my last visit and I like there are different options carried that aren't always carried in other stores. The price of convenience is kind of outrageous. The prices at Russ's are always considerably higher than other places. With the cost of groceries as high as they are already its a stretch sometimes.

Lots of drug deals go down in this parking lot. No, I am not involved in any of them. I do my drug deals at the pharmacy like any other socially acceptable walking contradiction, drug addict, assimilated patron, of the uncle sam drug lord. as far as you know. why are we talking about my drug deals? stay on topic! the point is, if you need some dope and a loaf of bread... nah im jk. this store is ok ish. i worked here as a teenager, while my picture was also hanging in the office on the shoplifter board of people banned from shopping there. LOL. In the pic i had a green mohak, and i had since cut it off. wanna kno what i was stealing? drugs.

I had a good cup of flavorful coffee in the Deli.It is the least expensive coffee in town. I saved a lot of money compared to the national brand coffee joints in town.Disappointed on my latest trip to Russ's, for a cup of coffee. I waited several minutes to purchase and pay for two cups of coffee only to find out that all of the coffee dispenser's were empty. I asked for a refund for the paid for coffee only to be told that the receipt was lost.No refund....Suggestion, place a sign informing customers that the coffee dispenser's are empty.

This is by far the best grocers I've found since moving to Nebraska! Great variety prices and location! I seriously am reminded of the stores back home! I didn't think I'd ever find a grocers I liked so out here on the Prarie! All the greatness without the jacked up prices of places like wholefoods

I was looking for club crackers. I may have missed it but I didn't see any overhead signs for crackers. I did eventually find them accidently. Since that was the only thing I bought I used the self out which worked fine.
