Found three items (including a light fixture on display) in clearance which was a score. Then found a set of pry bars made in the USA so that was cool. Went to the counter and first thing I get asked is if the bulbs came with the light because he "wants to make sure you didn't open boxes of lights and put them in there." Right, cause I'm spending $300 on tools, a light fixture and a ceiling fan etc so that I can steal $12 worth of light bulbs. Makes perfect sense. Thank god none of the items qualified for a rebate cause I genuinely don't want a reason to go back there.

Since Menards doesn't allow you to review individual merchandise on their website then I will leave the review here.Their Criterion chest freezers are awful pieces of garbage. Thought the deal was too good to be true... and it was. Bought one about 7-9 months ago and it's already dethawed twice while it's plugged in and should be running which has created giant messes to clean up and forced us to scramble to save any fully thawed food. Complete waste of money. Absolutely do not buy.

I'm giving this Menards 5 stars as I immediately found an associate to help me. Then she told me the product I owned had a lifetime warranty & how to call the company for replacement. This saved me money & I had no idea the product had a guarantee! I found Menards had a good number of associates to help, whereas the other stores closer to me, have few. I've waited waited for help at them.The store seems to always be well stocked. Thanks, Menards!

I absolutely loved this Menards! After having been at the one in Norfolk several times, I was finally in Lincoln and decided to stop here. It is a huge difference from the one in Norfolk and I love it! It's a beautiful store and has a beautiful setup inside and outside in the lumber yard. I asked questions about where certain items were and was treated kindly by every employee there. I knew the general manager there and he was awesome! I definitely do recommend shopping here. You will find pretty much anything you need, and it is cheaper than Lowe's and Home Depot by far. I love how clean and organized the store is as well.

I travel an additional mile past other home improvement stores to shop specifically at Menards. The primary reason is that their employees are both very knowledgeable and helpful. As a bonus, they have a wide variety of grocery items with prices that rival the main grocery stores. At certain times of the year, they even have frozen racks of ribs at the end of one of the aisles. Very wide selection of products across the board.

I would like to Thank Nate in hardware and Susan the cashier. I came into buy and item that didn't seem to be in stock. Nate went above and beyond to help me out. He went to the warehouse and brought out a pallet that the item I was looking for was on he got it off for me and I checked out. I get home and it doesn't work. So I go back for a replacement and he does the same thing for me and brings it up to customer service this time. And gives me another one. And we can't figure out why it won't turn on. And come to find out there's a little switch inside. And he helped me open the new one and make sure it worked. That's not very typical these days especially with customer service, I've been in the customer service insurance my whole life. And that's something I would have done for a guest as well. And Susan was very pleasant as well. I was actually checking out and my childhood best friend happened to be there as well and Susan was very pleasant to him as well. I would like to say Thank you to both of them and say you guy's have great employees there. Thanks Nate & Susan!

You can always tell the places that aren't managed well. I asked an employee for assistance finding a product just now. When the employee didn't know, they literally told me "good luck" and walked off. So I blew it off as them having a bad day or a poor employee. Nope. When I checked out, my cashier never even spoke with me because they were too busy chatting with the four other employees standing around. Bad customer service is a sign of poor work and management culture. I'm going to tell every single person I know about today, so the same thing doesn't happen to them.

Menards is great for just about everything. Picked up RV and camping supplies. Gardening supplies plants a few food items. They had free tubes hand sanitizer! Perfect. And I can send a rebate and get 11% back fir next time

Would never special order from here again. Updated kitchen cabinets and counters and the cabinets were ok, needed to do tweaking and a LOT of sanding to get out what I could only assume was finger nail polish off the surfaces. The counter came in within the quoted time frame. Opened up the counters and found what we considered significant damages on the edges. They had offered a discount that we consideredunreasonable so we had requested to reorder our counter and wait an additional two weeks to recieve. We called two weeks later to see if they had arrived yet since they never got us a tracking number. They did not call back within an hour since they couldnt find any info on it. An hour later we decided to drive in (we live over an hour away) to sit in the store until they got us any kind of answer. We found the lady who was supposed to call back hanging out in the aisle talking with coworkers. Come to find out that they had not even reordered them. Finally got all that sorted out and received our replacement counters six weeks after we originally ordered. There is still blemishes on the replacements but have decided it is not worth us never getting our kitchen reassembled. Again, will not be special ordering anything from this Menards again.

Got what I needed some of the guys in the yard outstanding one guy not much assistance inside and the guy at the gate to the yard you should consider getting him some help because his attitude can only come from being over worked tho I'm not sure how

I had an amazing experience at Menards today because of Allison in the paint section. I watched a you tube video and decided to try my first at home project. I had never bought any of the products I needed and was so out of my element. She was super patient with me and explained the products and gave wonderful suggestions. I appreciate the way all of the employees made eye contact and checked on me asking if they could help with anything thru out the store. I realize a lot of places are short staffed and there is a lot to get done during the employees shift but it was nice to experience a place where the customer still matters most!!!

The very first time I have left a home improvement store in a better mood than when I came in. Brian from building supplies went above and beyond to help me, walking me to 2 different departments. He'd already clocked out, walking out of the store when the manager asked him a question. He then decided to take over helping me. Also, the flooring department was incredibly polite and helpful. I was in need of a cart, there happen to be one left in their department and one of the staff made sure to wipe off the handles before I touched it. Great job!

Don't use their "key me" machine. What a joke! Didnt make my key right. Went to ask for remake of key told me they couldn't do it that the machine was from an outside source. Asked for money back told me would have to contact the company phone number on box. I tried to call but after hours. Now I will have to go to another store, try to call them for refund again and I'm from out of town. What a joke! Save yourself the trouble and get a human to cut the key.

Bought 3 2×6×20 boards was told they'd be in back at the order pick up. Nope the non helpful people told me they were in a wood shed. 25 minutes and 3 employees later I was no closer to the boards horrible customer service 6 employees for 3 boards because their help consists of "that's over there" lost another contractor due to incompetence

This wasn't my best experience at Menards. Menards carries a very wide selecting and it is a 'candy store' to me. Usually I can find most anything I am after there, well except help. Help can be very difficult to find. After walking the isles I finally found someone in another department who's definition of help was to tell me there should be someone there just go look for them!!! So, I went back and continued my search. Finally someone came through the area who was willing to do a price check for me - the price tags were all missing. I don't usually require help so this may have been an exception. Just the same, don't tell me to go back and look for help. Most of the store was well stocked, but cleaning supplies were limited. Though that is understandable. There place was clean and well lit. I found most of what I came in for and a few extras.

Had to go to customer service to fond someone to help in the lumber area. They called over the lod speaker, asking someone to come over and help. Saw 2 employees look up when they heard the lod speaker, look at eachother and then go back to what they were doing. They were both putting up a 3.99 sign on the pet toys. Noone came to help. We left.

I spend thousands at your store every couple of months. I even pay your ridiculous $100+ delivery fee each time I order large things such as vanities (which we were planning on ordering 94 total). But your delivery driver Jayme Krejdl needs to lose his poor attitude if you want your customers to remain loyal to you. I'm looking at moving our business to the Homedepot as I write this. He is no longer welcome on my property.

Very good prices, helpful staff. Wide variety of produces and well stocked. I absoultly love this store. We always find someone who will and can help. The cashier's need to less talking and more work straightening their areas. Cashier's are not friendly, do not say hi or smile anymore. The rest of the store are friendly and smile and always willing to help.

Hands down this is my go-to store. Anything you need to fix your house or car. Take care of your dog even just to grab some food this is the place to get it done. And honestly this location has some of the friendliest and most helpful employees I have ever met

Manager on duty was the best. Bought 2 big shelves, 3 weeks ago. This week both were on sale and one had a sizable rebate. Manager helped me get the lower prices and the rebate. Super helpful. That's why I go to Menards instead of the other 2 big box stores and they are both closer to my house.

I was looking for some auto paint for some chips on my cars paint job from hail storms. The girl in the paint department acted like she would rather be taking a nap then helping me out. I also checked the automotive department and they were sold out of what I wanted.

Went to Menard's, Lowe's, and Costco because I was looking for a fridge and freezer. Nothing special just a basement fridge for soda and a garage deep freeze. Also looked at storage shelves. The heavy duty kind. Menard's beat the price on all of them. I was surprised. They seem to have a bit of everything too. And... they actually had employees around that could help with finding stuff. They've earned more of my business!

No customer service. Spent an hour wandering around looking for three specific things. I finally managed to "catch " an employee; when I presented my search question, I was met with a blank look, a shrug and a pointed finger at aisle 17. I won't be shopping there again. I went to Ace hardware on Old Cheney and they were amazing and got me every item I needed in about 10 minutes.

Was hoping to use self service propane exchange but it wasn't working again. Had to go inside, everyone wears a mask and they have the floor marked out well.Update - no one wears a mask anymore but they still have plexiglass around the cashier's. At this point everyone is treating this an endemic. The process for picking up stuff is refined and warrants the bump to 5 stars from previous 4 stars.
