Certain items will be marked 50% off. When you get to the front to check out, they will ring up as full priced items. Then the Lowe’s reps will tell you you’re wrong and that the item is rung up right. This has happened twice. THEN, when you ask if they will go look for you, they’ll say they can’t leave their position. Fortunately we won the argument today. Also, all of the employees accept 1 that I seen today, are to busy socializing with other employees. They are the least helpful of all hardware stores around the Lincoln area. So sad to see.

They wouldn't honor prices for items stocked in correctly. They wouldn't call to have someone check the price we had to go and take pictures of the tag and they still wouldn't honor the prices. We told them we will never shop in their store and left the items we were going to get and went to Menard and got the exact same items brands and all cheaper and bigger quantities. Lowes will never get our business. Checkout staff was rude and would rather stand around than help anyone. Poor customer service. I had to tell other customers that checkouts were available.

I don’t remember his name but yesterday I was there and asked them to help me for an issue who was their employees were the reason but he answered me very rude and he didn’t try to offer me any helping for fixing that issue.Don’t go buy any stuff from this rude and disrespectful store they will be stealing your money for sure as they did with me. I purchased a combo washer and dryer last September from there and she applied a Lowes credit card for payments which I was repeated more than 10 times if it was interest free because interest is a big matter for me as my religion doesn’t let me do any deals with interest. All the time she answered me yes it’s 12 months interest free. Also they said a base pedestal is free but they gave me it after a while and calling them hundreds of times. Then I setup monthly auto payment with my debit bank account. I was busy and haven’t looked till last month then it looked for me that they charge me around extra $65 interest plus the payment every month. That was shocked me as I told them more than ten times I don’t buy it if you charged me interest. They only trying to sell their items they don’t care what you need and what you say. If I could I gave them zero stars. They are money stealers.

This is the third time I have come back here to buy some electrical and household appliances. In my opinion, the arrangement of items in this store is very organized and easy to find due to the instruction boards with very large, easy-to-see letters. Besides, the prices of the items are relatively cheap compared to Home Depot and Menards.

I was shopping for plants and an older fellow who worked there greeted me a bit too "amicably." He lingered around the plant section and offered unsolicited info about how Lowe's would be receiving more plants that weekend, and I should really check out the Easter lily selection. After all, even though Easter had passed, Jesus is still with us!As much as I love hearing about Jesus at Lowe's, I'd like to offer Lowe's a delicate suggestion, to please keep your creepy employees or managers under control. Lurking in the plant section and annoying female customers under the guise of being helpful is not a good look.The same older fellow made sure to reappear to greet me as I exited the store and thank me so much for coming in. I don't know what else to say other than, eew. Please be appropriate, Lowe's is a great store and it deserves better than that.

Take your money literally anywhere else. There were 3 associates working on our order and they warned us that delivery would be a disaster. That's the business model apparently. Lowes knows the 3rd party they use is so bad that they have their associates giving a forewarning. 3 VMs saying delivery was 3/19. Called late afternoon that day because we'd heard nothing. Associate says it was never the 19th and that the info on VMs was wrong. She confirms they will be here 3/20 around 8 am because we are "the first stop". Then we get messages saying it could be as early as 5:00am. 5:00am!?! Okay, we will get up super early to be prepared. It's almost noon and nothing. Called for status and it will be a few hours still because we are actually no where near their first stop today. Spoke with a friend that works at Lowes and was told that they just couldn't do it yesterday as scheduled because they "didn't have enough staff". We pulled the old appliances in preparation of new appliances so cooking a meal has been out of the question for 2 days now. Now delivery might happen during school pick up so they want to know if I want to reschedule for another day. No, no we don't want to be held hostage for additional days. There are so many other choices out there. If you are a person that researches first, here's all the info you need.

I had a bad experience today... Came in to pick up a snow blower I had seen in store the other day & called to make sure it was still available before I wasted time driving down. Got to the store to see it still there, waited for someone to help me load it onto a cart & wheeled it up the the cashier just to find out it was already sold.Ya'll really need a better system to let people know when items become unavailable... or at least mark it before someone does all the legwork for you bringing it up to the front just to have it taken from them.I get it that "stuff happens"... but this was a Complete Waste of Time & Fuel!!!

The cleanest of all the home improvement stores in Lincoln. They also have the most specialty items in town. Friendly knowledgeable staff and an amazing garden department/plant selection every spring.

Had to visit this Lowe's today as I was trying to remedy a burst pipe with the cold snap. Unfortunately someone was trying to cosplay Killdozer at the Home Depot down the road. While I was able to find the materials I needed, what I didn't find was a single Lowe's employee for assistance in locating anything. The store was in shambles. Doesn't appear anyone had re-stocked or re-fronted anything in days. I also helped a few other shoppers locate items they were looking for. What really irked me was there were no check out lanes open, so self checkout was the only option. I despise self-checkout. I don't work for this company, nor do I receive compensation for performing labor for it. I'm not shopping with you while simultaneously subsiding your overhead. I had multiple products with labels over the UPC's with QR codes that wouldn't scan. After entering the item codes they rang up fine, however ran across a couple items with no barcodes or labels what-so-ever. Finally after inconveniencing someone to a point of disrupting their Tik-Tok'ing an "employee" came over to assist me. Using the word "assist' is a stretch as ultimately I had to walk back to the locations of the barcode-less items, photograph the labels and come back to enter them. At no point did any other person in a Lowe's vest offer to help, or assist in any way. If anything my presence was a burden to them. I'll never shop at Lowe's again, and I'll be expecting a paycheck for the hours spent at the store today, or we can explore a consulting fee via a 1099 at the least.

I thought I would save time and walking by placing an online order, which I did. Next thing I know I get an email stating that my order has been canceled. That's it. No reason. Lowe's left me hanging, wondering what do I do next? Is the item indeed out of stock? The third chat person I chatted with said she would find out for me, but I got tired of waiting for her to come back. So Lowe's online chat gets 1 star. Lowe's online order system gets 1 star. Otherwise Lowe's is fine, so they get an overall score of 3 stars at this point.!!!Update: The order was canceled because my credit card company kept blocking the purchase since I use a VPN for security. Not Lowe's fault.Once I shut off my VPN, the transaction went through flawlessly and the pick up experience was great.

We ordered toilet and paid Lowe’s to install it. Lowe’s outsource installation to Angi. Angi cancelled installation 3 times last minute without a valid reason. So we decided to cancel the installation service. And when I asked for refund in chat with Lowe’s representative, they didn’t even know the installation booking has been cancelled. We got 0 service from both Lowe’s and Angi. And wasted 12days. A huge lesson learnt.

Will highly not shop at Lowes again. This last Sunday, I went to Lowes to purchase a new riding mower. First issue is no associate was able to help. Once customer service was able to find an associate to help, we got the mower unlocked and loaded in the truck. Got home, unloaded the mower, (second isse) got the key (the keys had been opened and 1 key was missing), checked battery cables, oil, and filled with gas. Went to start it and there was no power going to the engine. Put the battery tester/charger on and the battery was completely dead. Let the charger stay on for about 20 minutes and tested the mower. Still wasn’t enough power to the engine, but there was enough to see the hours. Should be zero or close as this is a brand new mower. Nope! 45.6 hours listed on it (I take pictures of everything). So I call Lowes and speak to Emily, Customer Service Supervisor. Let her know what is going on. Her response:Two options: 1) bring in the battery and we’ll replace it plus give you a 20% discount. 2) bring the mower back and we’ll exchange it (we took the last mower of that model/price range)So we load the mower back up and take it back to Lowes. When we get there I go to Customer Service and ask for Emily. CSR says, she’s busy and can’t come up to help. CSR also says, we can’t replace your battery or exchange it because there isn’t another mower for you to take. She says, I can give you a 20% discount. I respond with, the next mower up is $400. With your 20% discount, ill pay the $20 difference and exchange it for the next mower. She calls the Lawn Dept Supervisor, Brett, over. This is where it gets interesting.I tell Brett what is going on. He says, “How do you know the batteries dead? Why would you try to start it in the back of your truck in the parking lot?” I explain again that I took the mower home blah blah blah and tried to show him the pictures. He refused to look. I then tell him about exchanging it for the next mower up and pay the difference. He replies, “I can’t give you discount. If you want the other mower, you have to pay the whole $400 difference. You’re not getting any discount.” I tell him what the CSR and CSR Supervisor said. He said, “You’re not getting a discount. You can return the mower if you’re unhappy with it.”I ask when they are getting more mowers in of the same model. He looks. Says 2 or 3 should come in that night. I said fine I’ll exchange it for a new mower that is coming in. We go outside to unload the mower. He then says, “Wait, how do you know there’s 45.6 hours on it if the batter is dead?” I for the third time, explained the entire scenario, again! He again refused to look at pictures and said, “Whatever you say!”Get the mower unloaded and finish the paperwork for the exchange. I then ask if they can call me when the mower is in and ready. Brett says, “No. We can’t call you. You have to call us. Call us tomorrow morning.” He then walked away.I call Monday morning around 9a. CSR looks up the order and said, “yep three mowers came in last night. You can come whenever today and pick it up.”We go to Lowes after work. Its about 6:15p. Go to CSR desk. They said, “Oh, the mowers are still in the crate. They aren’t ready for pick up, but if you want to wait for a few minutes.” We didn’t leave Lowes until 7:20p!My last two experiences at Lowes have not been enjoyable. We use Lowes for all our home improvement needs. I guess we will have to go down the road to Home Depot or Menards.

I recently came into Lowe's in South Lincoln, NE to shop for patio furniture. The set I wanted was only available online. Initially, I hesitated to order the set because I'm know I would not be unable to assemble the set myself. Harrison was helping me at the time. He went above and beyond his call of duties and offered to to assemble the set for me himself if the assembly team refused.As it turns out, the assembly team were unable to put the set together when it came in. Harrison stepped up to the plate and put the set together for me during his busy. I'm forever grateful for his dedication and hard work. Working retail is a tough job. Now a days, many stores are closing and shopping has gone to online only.It's people like Harrison who actually cares and take pride in their work to provide exceptional customer service that will keep the retail business going and stores open.Thank you Harrison for all you do.

If you’re excited about an appliance installation from Lowe’s, just be prepared for the worst. When things go wrong their customer service is very helpful at passing along the information and getting nothing done. We have sat for almost 2 months without a dishwasher and water damage to our home with no one helping or caring. You’ve been warned.Update as of August 2022: STILL NOBODY HS HELPED US.Update as of early 2024… no surprise they never helped us. Water damage to our new house. Stay away.

My husband and I could not be more disappointed in our recent transactions with Lowes. We purchased over $4,000 in appliances that were a special ordered in. We were notified that all of the items were were in, drove the hour and half to pick them up only to find out they truly were NOT in. Trip #1. Trip #2 consisted of making the hour and half drive once again to pick up our order. After sitting and waiting for almost an hour for them to "locate" our order that somehow got misplaced in 24 hours time. We arrived home with our order to only find out the ice maker had obviously been dropped during shipment or at Lowes while they were trying to "locate it". It was well beyond cosmetic damage. We are on a time crunch. We needed to have all these appliances installed because our quartz countertops will be here next week. We called and notified Lowe's to only get an oh that's too bad I am sorry. We can get you another one in but it wont be in store until June 6th or after. Making no attempt to make this situation right. Not even we will expedite ship it to your home so you do not have to make the drive once again. Then today was trip #3 returning the damaged merchandise. All of the employees were not empathetic and dismissive to the situation. This is very discerning when we just spent over $4,000 with this company. We now will have waisted 9 hours of drive time for a very poor business model, poor customer service, and a oh thats too bad Im sorry. As business owners ourselves this is the last way we would ever treat our consumers. Lowe's you just earned Menards and Home Depot a couple new customers.

I went to the garden center to check what plants they still had and if they had a summer sale. No sale but they still had a good selection of nice plants. They always have a great selection of flowers, shrubs, and trees. I enjoy shopping there.

This store use to be one of my absolute favorite stores. The plant products are excellent and awesome selection. The lack of employees and help has made me avoid it when I can. When I do finally get help more times than not they are very very nice and helpful but today picking up my mulch a younger man and girl were “helping” the curly hair gentlemen was beyond rude. Very short with me and extremely rude when I was explaining I bought the mulch online and never had done it before so I didn’t know how it worked. First I drove up and waved and he walked right by me. I waited for 5 min and never came back. I started loading and he started getting angry told me rudely to go get a reception. Then I was told I didn’t need a receipt. Told him that and he radioed to the lady and argued. He didn’t once say hi, thanks or anything the girl helping him wasn’t better. This place has turned into a bitter disappointment every time I go
