Bought my Christmas rib roast from Leon's for the first time. The quality was great and the price was fair! The roast was trimmed better than some other places I've tried. Can't wait to try their steaks this summer!

Leon's is a Lincoln icon! Not the cheapest place but, you can find some pretty unique food items there. And that's beneficial if you are a gourmet cook! Go there! You won't be disappointed.

Leon's is a great neighborhood grocery store. The selection is very good for a store of this size and they have a wonderful deli section, including gelato! I don't do all my grocery shopping here, but this is a great place to pick up a few items you need. While the prices are higher than what you'll find at larger grocery stores, I find that it's worth it to support a local business. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

I had decided to add just one picture because there's so many pictures of the store itself. But to get the point across they are very friendly inside... Mr Todd ( I am so sorry if I jacked the name up) the manager is very nice.Mr. Rob in the butcher area is so friendly and nice. I joke about him staying out of trouble. Now this store has a small town feeling to it. Growing up back then you had these types of mom and pop stores because you knew everyone there who work there and people knew you. I really love that feeling.They do have some things are healthy but not a lot but it's the customer service that's really nice. I shall be back there in a later time.

Very, very clean. Staff are very pleasant. I stopped in to get some sale items and a few other items. They have high quality meats and foodie items that aren't available elsewhere. I've signed up for their app and online coupons since I no longer clip coupons. Many items priced competitively.

Store owner and staff are always helpful. Generally they sell some products you won't find at other grocery stores in Lincoln. Was always a favorite growing up in Lincoln and still is today and kudos to an excellent job on the remodel!

Lincoln staple. Yes, it can be expensive but honest and clean and approachable folks. Neighborhood vibe with Lincoln's best meat. No fuel saving, no bulk packaging nor supercenter spiel. Sale items comparable with any store. Calm.

Fresh meat butcher shop has a large selection and if you want something not on display ask and they will find or cut the amount you want. Everyone smiles. Lots of speciality cheeses ,meats ,breads, and treats that you can't find in other stores.

Be aware of your expiration dates and sale prices. Customer service is wonderful and the store is clean and well organized. It's a beautiful store with a great selection of cheeses, amoung other things, has its faults.I will not drive through traffic ( and gas prices)for returns .Dissappointed I will not be a regular shopper. I live so close but cannot trust that I won't find a problem with things once I return home.

Great little neighborhood grocery store. It reminds me of the grocery store in the town of 350 people that I grew up in. The staff is some of the best you will find in the industry and it definitely doesn't feel like a typical big chain experience. If you haven't been there in a while they just finished an interior remodel and now the looks match the charm and service, it is beautiful looking. The price for some things are slightly higher but they also carry a lot of fancier things that bigger supermarkets don't. It is almost like a small town store with Whole Foods sensibility. And I haven't even mentioned the meat counter which is far and away the best in town. Their ground chuck is top notch, ground breakfast sausage is delicious, freshly sliced bacon is very nice for getting whatever thickness you're looking for, and the steak is also worth the trip and is one of my regular purchases. They also grill out on Saturdays in the summer and fall and make some amazing burgers and brats. If you live in the neighborhood it is a no brainer to stop here and if you don't well, it is worth the trip if you are looking for a different shopping experience.

Probably the best place in Lincoln for Gourmet grocery in Lincoln. Places like whole foods, Hy-Vee, and local meat markets don't carry what Leon's does. Check expiration dates on everything though, as I saw a bunch of expired sausage in the cheese area.

I love Leon's! I've been coming here since I was a kid. 1st w/my grandma. Nowadays I drive all the way from Omaha, just because it feels like family. Lot's of great highend cheeses and a good meat department. Although I've noticed the meat dept has noticeably gone down hill in recent years, it's still good quality just not as good as it was. I still make the drive and am happy to. Usually stop at Lefty’s Records as well when I do =)

I walk into Leon's grocery store. I am famished. My body craves nutrients. From across the store, I lock eyes with a man. No, not just a man. A Produce Man. A man with an aura of expertise. A man who knows fruits and vegetables like the back of his hand.Craig.We meet each other by the spinach, and my body becomes weightless. I want to ask him where the grapes are, but I cannot the muster the words. He already knows what I crave, and effortlessly motions to the shelf behind me, his bulging biceps glistening in the afternoon light. There they are. The most perfect grapes this wandering soul has ever laid eyes on."Anything else I can help you with?", he whispers. But he already knows. I love this grocery store with loyalty and passion. Every time I go in, I enjoy fresh produce, ethnic foods, and the incredible staff. Aaron is hilarious, and he makes my day with laugher. Jody, one of the butchers, possesses an impressive knowledge of the different cuts AND preparation of the meat. She repeatedly provides me with her expertise, and she's yet to steer me wrong! I love how she patiently explains everything, from the type of meat to the seasoning to the preparation itself! My husband and I love Leon's and consider ourselves customers and supporters for life. Whatever you're doing, keep doing it. We appreciate you. Your staff deserves raises all around.

Remodeling finished. Great place to find special foods. Kraut without preservative (helpful for guts) very tasty. Love cowboy Xavier, baked beans. Like bring able to get amount of meat needed from service case. Good quality veggies, fruit like Ideal Grocery which it purchased at owner's retirement.

Mega meat sale was a laugh .I've never seen tenderloin that looked as bad as what they had displayed today .I would be embarrassed to displayed such trash.The ribies looked ok but I don't buy those.

Truly fantastic. The produce manager, Craig, turned a normal shopping trip into a sensual, eye-opening experience. He showed me the difference between a mandarin and a tangerine, how to blanche a cabbage, and taught me quite a bit about myself along the way. A handsome, strong, and compassionate employee like this only comes along once in a lifetime. He taught me what it truly means to appreciate fruits and vegetables and I will never forget him. He is truly an angel in disguise, and I will encourage my husband to be more like him every day. If I could nominate the employee of the month, it would be him, every month from now til infinity. The recent remodel is incredible; the place has been transformed. I don't come here often, but when I do, I can expect to have my essentials I needed, as well as some different options in items like cheese and meats. We always find something different to try.
