I've been taking my 16yr old kitty here for many many years. They do such a great and thorough job with her grooming! My long hair cat gets the lion cut since she's not as good at grooming her long hair anymore. Plus, they are reasonably priced here. I won't go anywhere else! The best!!

I recommend this place to friends all the time. They always get the job done right, and they make sure to let you know if your cat needs any special attention. For example, they let us know that our cat had a minor case of ear mites, and we were able to get it taken care of within weeks. Had they not told us, we would have never known.

I'll give my short haired cats bathes if needed, but not my 2 long-haired boys! They're impossible! I take them to Briana, and she's AWESOME!! She does such a great job with them. They're both all black, with long, THICK fur. And they come home looking SOOO sleek and clean and just so so beautiful!! I highly recommend them!!

Have been here twice with my cat. They have done a pretty good job (no complaints or anything) both times. Easy for me to work with even with my extremely tight schedule where they let me drop her off early in the day and will keep her as long as I need them to as long as I pick her up by closing (I think 6:00?). Very reasonably priced. As long as I stay around Lincoln, NE I will be back!

I brought in my cat today for bath and brush, and I came back with a whole new cat! Briana did so well with her. I never knew my cat could be so soft! She also got all of the loose fur out that was getting all over my apartment. Sadly my cat did not love being there but Briana was able to work around a fussy kitty. Thank you!

Just be careful before going in. They either use unsanitized equipment resulting in your pet contracting a bacterial infection or will rush the process leaving your cat with cuts. Both situations your cat will unfortunately have to suffer.We took our cats to get them groomed and one of them was left with cuts and abrasions all over his back, which have now become very painful for him to the point where he won't let us hold him or pet him.Then when it comes time to talk about a refund you will be told you have to call back at a different time to even discuss getting because "they are their own bosses”

I have taken cats to Marilyn at Paws & Claws for over25 years as has my daughter & I can’t say enough beyond exceptional to describe my precious kitties cuts & grooming. She listens carefully to what I would like at each appointment. Our family has had cats that no other groomer would touch, yet Marilyn groomed them and handled them well. She is able to handle the more difficult cat behaviors & still provides exceptional service. The cats love feeling so good afterwards! Paws and Claws was able to make an appointment on the fly for my kitty Arwen. He matts very easily on his back and I like to get him shaved down so he’s more comfortable. Paws and Claws did just that and he’s looking and feeling good! I would recommend them to anyone and the price we paid was great! Thank you again Paws and Claws!

I was very dissatisfied with Paws and Claws’ customer service. The first time after his cut there was still tons of loose fur on him, on my clothes and in my car. I let them know my concerns and they were very polite about it so I wanted to give them a second chance. This was the second chance, I brought my cat to them and the same thing happened after I requested that he gets a his bath after his cut to prevent that. Not only did they not do that they clipped his whiskers and he had bm remnants on his behind so that clearly told me they didn’t give a bath. I am very disappointed that I had to pay $60 to have to give him another bath after he’s already supposed to have had one. When I called to tell her, they (the owner and the worker) got very defensive so I asked for a refund, she lost her temper and started yelling then hung up on me and wouldn’t answer my calls. I drove over there because I was very unsatisfied with their work and customer service. When I got there she said that I won’t get a refund and that the only thing they can do is give him another bath. I agreed. His bath consisted of just being sprayed down and blow dried. I voiced my concerns yet again and they immediately started screaming in my face saying that I won’t be getting my money back and slammed the door in my face while they still had my cat. I had to physically remove my cat from them because she refused to give me my cat back. I urge you, don’t waste your money coming here you and your cat deserved better.

I've been taking my kitties to Paws & Claws for years and I'm completely comfortable with both Cyndi and Marilyn. They are so friendly and the animals feel right at home, obviously. They are highly professional, skilled and caring, knowing each of the animals' special needs and requirements. My cat always looks like he stepped out of a band-box in his "lion-cut". I know he's had the best treatment possible there. They are animal advocates par excellence! I highly recommend Paws & Claws! Other places make the animals look sheared. Paws & Claws make them look very groomed and pampered.

Excellent groomers! They know how to properly handle cats. I was very nervous about having my cat clipped after a bad experience with a previous groomer that traumatized my cat resulting in an aggressive behavior towards groomers while being handled. Most importantly, I did not want anyone to get hurt in the process, but also, I did not want any further trauma for my pet. These ladies were WONDERFUL! They took their time and made her as comfortable as possible while gently navigating through the areas she was touchy about. The end result was an impeccable cut and a less agitated cat with no injuries to anyone. She looked great, smelled great and didn't spend two days under the bed hiding afterwards. I spent quite a bit of time talking to them and it was clear that they have great love and respect for all animals and they handle them with the same level of care and understanding you would want for own children. I highly recommend Paws & Claws! Remember to TIP YOUR GROOMERS! They work hard for you!

This is a review of all 3 groomers here and I have used all 3! First the cat groomers: Marilyn & Cyndi. Marilyn groomed my cats over THIRTY years ago and I don’t know what I would have done without her! She is THE expert!! And...Cyndi is the person I had fill in for myself when I needed someone to groom. Yes, I am a cat groomer myself, but the point is I wouldn’t have asked Cyndi to help me out if I didn’t think she was a phenomenal groomer. She is a natural and she has tons of experience.And when I had a dog that needed regular grooming, I took him to Sharon because I knew he would be in expert hands. Sharon always did such an incredible job with my Bernese Mountain dog, Baci. I believe she focuses on small breeds now but I know from around 5 years of working with her that she is extremely good with them, too. The women at this shop are experts and very good at what they do — I highly recommend them!
