I have very little faith in pharmacies to begin with, but after waiting for 40 minutes in the drive through, I finally got up to the window and presented them with my good rx gold card(I pay 10 dollars a month for cheaper rx prices). She told me my total "43.44" and I told her that the good rx gold price was "13.14". She re-typed in the code, that didn't work. Then, she went and asked someone for help and they couldn't figure it out. To be honest, I wouldn't have even minded if it wasn't such a HUGE difference. 5 dollars? whatever, I'll live but 30 dollars is a BIG DEAL to me. I need my medication so I had to pay the inflated price. They suggested that I call "Good RX" as a solution, but that fixes absolutely nothing as I'm sure they will tell me it is the pharmacy's problem. These medication prices are all over the place and they take advantage of people as much as possible.

Wait times are HORRENDOUS here. Over a dozen people in line, waiting inside and yet they don’t even have a second lane open. Beyond pathetic. Constantly running out of my meds because their supply chain is so weak. Their customer service over the phone is generally good but once I get there it’s so inefficient and the wait times are so long, and the place is always so crowded. Drive-Thru window is pointless - they always take forever and is closed frequently due to some equipment breaking. This isn’t an issue at any other Hy-Vee pharmacies. You know you’re a horrible pharmacy when people are leaving you for WALMART of all places! They never take nearly as long and always have any meds I need in stock.

Pharmacy terrible service and long wait times. Literally had my Dr. call in a prescription at 8am and here it is 330p; first the lady says um sorry we don't have it until tomorrow, then when I asked if another store had it in stock she came back and says weeellll I do have it but it'll take 20 minutes to fill. When I asked her why it wasn't filled, she started to ask why I didn't call and then told me "sorry, they are filled by priority", ummm I'm sorry what? Lost my years of service. Do better Hyvee!!

Pharmacy staff are ALWAYS attentive & extremely kind regarding anything I need done, e.g. immunizations, filling Rx’s @ window/in person, etc!!

I have used this pharmacy for years but the last year and a half has been consistently disappointing. Every time we go there is always something wrong (a prescription didn't get filled, insurance wasn't applied, etc). Lines are always very long and take forever. Also, I'm all for employing young people but not 16 yr olds in a pharmacy! It does not inspire confidence and they can't answer any questions.

Pharmacy line at this location is consistently moving slower than snails. Also the staff seems untrained, unprofessional, and unable to answer questions. Some of the staff is verrrrry nice and pleasant to deal with, but one messed up one of my prescriptions and when I tried to tell her something was wrong..she was “having a bad day” and it “wasn’t possible a mistake could be made”….until my doctor got involved and sure enough a mistake was made. If you are having such a bad day that you treat another human being like that, you should reevaluate being in any health care position (or customer service). Not a safe place to get your medications sent to.

I can’t say enough good things about this pharmacy! I actually recommend all of my patients use this pharmacy right down the street from my clinic! Also absolutely massive shout out to Michaela. Every time I walk in there she matches my energy and has such a positive vibe. Legitimately the world needs more people like her! When you’re sick or need some thing this pharmacy definitely brings up your spirits.

No one in town carries a medication my Dr prescribed that I need right away ,but after his nurse called around to different pharmacy's she was told by Hy-Vee pharmacy that they could order it and get it in on Monday. She gave them the prescription and told me I could pick it up on Monday. When I went to the pharmacy on Monday they said "Oh did you want that ordered"? I said yes, of course I did! It was supposed to be in today! They said, we can order it today, but we can't guarantee when we can get it in! I now remember why we switched from them to CVS!!!! They were always screwing up our refills!

Mom discharged from hospital. Extreme high blood pressure and new meds. Went to Hy-Vee to pick them up. Was told didn’t have them non stock and would be in the following day. Called the next morning was told meds were in would be ready for pick up by noon. Went in at 1, was told again they were not in stock due to bad weather and really nothing could be done. I lost my cool and yelled at pharmacist because the meds are critical. Turns out they DID have the meds and would fill them as soon as they could. I had to yell on front of a room full of people to get my mother’s life saving medicine that she had already been without for 2 days …absolutely ridiculous, harmful and irresponsible.

We started by getting our flu shots each year and continued with or two COVID vaccinations and Booster. The employees were just a delight to work with and as busy as they were we were treated as if we were the only ones there! Thanks for being there for us!

Have had many horrible experiences with these people! Prescriptions not getting filled, refilling the wrong prescriptions, not sending faxes to the correct doctors for medication. I actually asked them to call me when my prescription was done, bc I never receive calls like you're suppose too, they called me the NEXT day (almost 24 hrs after receiving the prescriptionfrom my doctor) to ask me when i wanted it delivered to my home. I never asked for delivery, just a simple phone call. Once it took a whole week for them to fill 1 prescription! And they tried blaming it on my doctor! After speaking with my doctors office, figured out it was Hy-Vee's fault the whole time! They just won't admit to their mistakes! I would not recommend this pharmacy to Anyone! The 5 cent fuel saver is not worth the headache!

If i could give this pharmacy 0 stars I would. My family has been using Hy-vee pharmacies since we've lived in Nebraska. Many many years. 5 days ago I called in my refill like I do evey month. I was told I was out of refills and they would need to contact my provider. Something they never did. FIVE LONG DAYS I have now gone without my psych meds. I called everyday asking why my prescription was not filled and everyday this pharmacy told me they were waiting on my provider to call them back. So I called my provider on the second day to see about the hold up. They informed me that Hy-vee hasn't called for refill permission since the 9th of November. So I call back Hy-vee and tell them this in which I get a very rude response of "maybe you should call in your own meds then, this isn't our responsibility" So if it's not your responsibility then why is it an option on your automated phone service?! And why have you been doing this for my family FOR YEARS. O yes, that IS right. Because it is your job. And while I'm writing this review ill tell you of another time this pharmacy was very unprofessional. Let's rewind 6 months. I just had my son via c section and I was getting my pain medication re filled. Due to the dosage being 1 to 2 pills every 4 hours insurance goes off of taking 1 pill every 4 hours and insursnce would not cover my medication for another day. I was in pain, i just had a tiny human cut out of me. I asked the pharmacist how much it would cost to cover my prescription out of pocket. The woman looked me up and down and told me I wouldn't be able to afford it. Yes that's right. She made a jump judgement of my appearance as to what I could and could not afford. So I left and i had my mother call as she is a very calm, reasonal person and guess how much they told her my prescription was? $25. O yes, you are reading that right correctly: twenty five dollars. I guess I looked really poor that day... I looked past that situation since I did just have a baby and my hormones were our of wack, but no. That was disrespectful. And this current situation is very dangerous. You cannot keep psych meds from people. 5 days without having my mind regulated is not safe and I thank village drive Hy-vee from the very bottom of my heart for messing up my entire body because someone didn't correctly complete their job. Now its going to take my body at least 4 weeks to regulate back to taking my medication. 4 weeks I get to live with mood swings, aggression, cold sweats, vision change, night terrors, ect. All because one individual who works at this pharmacy decided they weren't going to call my doctor before they left for the day... So glad their after work activities were more important than their patients mental stability.
