We were not happy with some issues our 2020Subaru Ascent we had bought from a Toyota Dealer. But we made the smart decision to bring it to DuTeau Subaru of Lincoln. Our service contact, Katy was outstanding! She was very nice, was very knowledgeable, kept us informed almost every day, and explained everything in detail of what they were doing to make us happy to own a Subaru. We are now! From the first day my wife and I were made to feel like family. I had just closed a chapter 13 bankruptcy, unlike other local dealerships who turned us away as soon as I mentioned “bankruptcy”, the folks at DuTeau welcomed us with open arms.After a month of looking at various models on the Subaru lineup we settled on the Outback Touring XT. Our salesmen helped us with getting what we wanted for options.We had the opportunity to meet and chat with the service center team as well, and I’m happy to say that they are definitely knowledgeable as well as friendly.I would definitely recommend visiting DuTeau if you’re in the market for a new or a “new to you” vehicle.

Outstanding place. I've been going here for about five and a half years now, and they're always outstanding. Yesterday I had an emergency where I hit a pothole, popped a tire (thanks City of Lincoln), and the impact bent the wheel studs. They were able to get me in this morning, took care of it quickly, and did it for a third of the price that I was expecting. Katy in service over there is especially wonderful to work with. Thank you Duteau for making my day much better!

We traded our Subaru Impreza in for an Outback Wilderness! This is our 4th family Subaru from Deteau Subaru (and won’t be the last). Scott Wuethrich helped us with this buy. He made the process so easy and was great to communicate with! We were lucky enough to also buy during the ‘Share the Love Event’ so Deteau made a donation to ‘Make a Wish Nebraska’ in our name. I just got home from the dealership after purchasing a brand new 2024 crosstrek and it was the best car buying experience I could have asked for. Everyone was super kind, helpful and knowledgeable. It wasn't your stereotypical dealership experience. I felt like they actually cared and I didn't feel like I was being pushed or hustled at all. 10/10. Will return if I ever need another vehicle.

Filled out financing and waited for three days and when I called they were holding my paperwork, because I need a test drive first before getting a vehicle. And another three day later setup a schedule convenient on their time for a test drive showed up 10 minutes early and was texted back say they were booked for the rest of the day. Avoid this place one rude and two they only do online full purchases only. Just like Husker Auto Group high prices and profile their customers.

Very, very helpful. They educate you when you purchase your new vehicle and give you good resources and how to work every gadget in your new car. I really had a nice peaceful experience at duteau and Dan was soooo helpful and caring. You come here and you won't be disappointed. We were traveling from Iowa to Utah on 80 and slammed into the back of a semi in whiteout conditions. We pulled into Lincoln for the night and the next day took our car in for a road worthy check. They took us right in and April took great care of us. Made an unsettling situation so much better. Thank you April!!

Took in my 2014 Outback for a transmission re-learn and to have the electric parking brake checked. For my labor cost of $162 I was told that the transmission could not be reprogrammed because of the parking brake issue and that the parking brake issue would require further diagnostics. Really? In one hours time thats the best the “tech” could do? Did he take his 30 minute break on my time or what? Sure seems that way to me.

Tanner, his manager and the team have been nothing but extremely informative, taking the time to explain and even physically show me an issue that needed resolved that I was totally not expecting. Tanner goes above and beyond in every interaction and I can't explain to you how pleased, confident, and thrilled I am that I have a place that I trust to take care of my vehicle. 5 Stars all the way and they will always have my business and I will always recommend them to anyone searching for a reputable, clean, and honest dealer/service.

My wife's key fob died and we decided to just get the batteries in both hers and mine replaced at the same time. The parts man waited on me immediately. In and out in less than 10 minutes for less than $13. That's what I call excellent service!

Dropped in (on road trip) with check engine and AT temp light on a 2011 Outback. Diagnosed codes right away gave us a quote and fit us into the schedule. Spent time looking at new cars. Sales folks were very helpful in answering all our questions. All staff were very helpful in asking if we needed anything and offering to drive us somewhere for lunch. (Mexican place next door is excellent!) Fix took 90 min longer than expected however the original quote didn’t change. Eight hours later we were on our way. Can’t recommend LeTeau Subaru highly enough!

I was contacted pretty quickly after first contact and informed them that I was still in the discovery process. I was pleased that there was no pressure to visit the lot. A couple of months later I decided to head to the dealership just to check things out on a whim. I walked in and was actually greeted by the same person that originally contacted me (Brandon Contreras). He showed me the car I thought I was in the market for. We both discovered it wasn't the best fit for what I was wanting but he helped me find something that checked all the boxes. I was surprised by how easy the trade in process was. The dealership worked well with my specific circumstances and a week later I drove off with my new car.

Waited 3 hours for an oil change, tire rotation and an infotainment update. Received no type of compensation and still paid full price which I think is a bit ridiculous. My tires also weren’t rotated even though it says It should’ve been. Pretty disappointed.

Quality of work and customer service was great. However I was told the repair would be completed in time for me to keep a medical appointment that was also scheduled for that same day. I was told they would provide me with a ride if needed. I missed my appointment because the installation took longer than expected and a courtesy driver was not available.

I just got my oil changed for the first time with my car that I bought from them. My car is amazing there were no issues for the first time ever. They took very good care of it it wasn't totally expensive and they washed the car afterwards for free. Guys were super cordial and very professional.

The team at DuTeau subaru was fantastic! When our beloved '07 STI left us stranded in Lincoln on a long road trip, we didn't know what to do. We are SO grateful we only had to make the one phone call to DuTeau Subaru. Not only were they all so friendly and accommodating, but they did a great job fixing our car! They went above and beyond to make sure everything was up to their standards. We got back to the mountains of Colorado safely and enjoyably, and only barely behind schedule. We cannot express enough how much gratitude we have for DuTeau! I'm actually a little bummed they're too far away for our regular services! 10/10 would recommend them!!

We arrived on yesterday afternoon wanting to test drive a few cars to get a feel for them. Kurt quickly greeted us and we explained we would like to test drive the Outback Onyx on the lot. He informed us that we would have to make it a very short test drive as he "didn't want us to put miles on the car." 10 or 15 minutes is no way to determine if $35000 car is the right car to purchase. We returned from our drive and asked to test drive an Impreza and a Legacy. he made a rude comment, asking us if we were going to buy all three. We drove the cars and fell in love with the Legacy. When we returned Kurt made more underhanded comments. Instead of buying the Legacy, we went up to omaha and bought a similarly priced Legacy from their competitors. If I could give a 0 star, I would. Kurt needs some training in professionalism.

They finally updated the service department! It looks and feels so much better now. I've always gotten great service from here and there was a courtesy driver that helped me get home and back for longer repairs. Mad respect for these technicians because they work very hard. 👍John is a great salesman. Very upfront and honest. He took care of everything and the buying process was super easy and very fair.
