I was allowed in Costco with my mom’s executive membership card however, when I went to check out, the cashier decided he wanted to question me if that was my card because of the picture. Any other time, I see them scan the card and keep it moving. I’m assuming he couldn’t believe that two young looking Black people would have an executive membership which is why he took his time examining the card. My parents spend way too much money here WEEKLY outside of the money they spend on their membership for the cashier to hold up the line trying to embarrass me and my boyfriend. He called his supervisor over and the supervisor was very nice and said I can have my parents add me to their account. Problem solved. He made a big deal about it for absolutely no reason and for 5 items! No need in my parents adding me to their account because I’ll never shop here again.

Optical DepartmentThe lady who usually works the optical department is very nice. There’s now this man that works it the last couple times I’ve came and he is so rude!!!! For literally no reason he seems exasperated to help you, bothered that you’re there, and talks down to you extremely condescending. I was trying to purchase contacts and had to walk away without being able to purchase anything. I wish that nice lady was still working the counter 💔 she got you set up with whatever you needed so fast. I’ve never had a single bad interaction at Costco Optical before this.

I like shopping at Costco,there are a variety of items and the stocks get refreshed at regular intervals, and they are quite relevant according to the seasons and festivals. Often get good deals and discounts. The ambience of the store is good and the staffs are friendly. I visit the store weekly once, the gas is cheaper for members compared to other gas stations.

I headed to Costco because I had been thinking about joining for several years. Saturday December 17, I thought, was the day I would finally become a member. For some reason, I thought membership cost $100. The Goldstar membership is only $60. It's the executive membership that's $120.One of the things I looked for when I entered the store was the price of fuel. I couldn't find a sign with the prices. However, an employee at the membership counter told me that their fuel price is only $2.41 per gallon. At Hy-Vee, it's $3.09! Wow! I found out you don't have to be a member to look around the store or to go to the food court. That's nice! I took the opportunity to look around.I found several things I put on my mental list of things I might buy in the future. I also enjoyed their food sample stations. They have several of them spread around the store. I saw a wide range of products from TVs, Bose headphones, chairs, a grocery store section, and plenty of snacks. Oh, I could get into trouble with all the snacks they sell here. I was disappointed when I found out their optical center doesn't work with the company I have for vision insurance which is Eye Med. It is worth mentioning that the reason I wanted a Costco membership instead of a Sam's membership is Costco has a reputation for paying and treating their employee much better.After taking a good look around, I walked back to the membership counter to buy a membership. The woman who helped me gave me a lot of helpful information, and I could tell she really wanted me to sign up for the Executive membership. She also encouraged me to sign up for a Costco Visa credit card. I said I was interested in the Goldstar membership. As she was taking my information, I asked if Costco takes Apple Pay. She said, "Only if it's linked to a Visa credit or debit card." And that's why I am giving Costco 4 stars instead of 5. I have never heard of a store that won't take Mastercard. That's all I have, and I refuse to carry cash. I ended up walking out of the store with nothing because of that policy. Maybe one day I will have a Visa card. Until then, I can't shop at Costco. Their loss.

Love Costco!! We just recently got a card and went crazy! The trail mix is awesome with a great assortment of nuts. Spent $600.00 in two trips, but Christmas is done!

Even with as busy as it was the day before Thanksgiving the checkout lines moved quickly and the ladies checking us out were so personable! There was a wide selection of items to enhance your holiday gathering.

Best consistent prices in town on alcohol and meat products. Ready made 1/4 lbs beef hot dogs and fountain drink for less than $2 is a deal that will make you feel like it's 1995 again.

Cheep gas for members, great prices on wine and adult beverages, love the tuxedo cake and other bakery items. We have many favorites here. Kirkland branding stands for affordable and good quality.

Great Meat Counter- Best is town, ALL PRIME CUTS, Seafood, and , and , oh just go there. Just not on an empty stomach. Also Great electronics, cutting edge current models, and I got a great buy on an awesome cabinet there.This is Kristin, a supervisor at Costco. He is always happy and has helped me numerous times. He is a great employee and he laughs at my jokes! Thank you Kristin.

Nice store. Clean, and it is apparent that the employees are pretty happy. You can see a bit more pride here than at some other stores. The price of food is crazy high everywhere but there are still a few deals to be found here. Great place for holiday shopping as well! Lately it seems that about half of my wardrobe comes from here as well. I am officially old.

Costco is without question the greatest store on the planet. Everything here is not only of the highest quality the price cannot be beat. Organic produce organic meat organic everything healthy choices galore. I am a lifetime member and I try to convince everyone I meet that they should be too.

we go costco every Saturday, good service,nice people, we like the lady who introduced and gave the tasty Multigrain bread sample to customers, . love bakery station and meat. i strongly recommend for steak and bread,seafood,...... everything in costco.

I love Costco. I go at least 1-2 times a month. Bandit likes when I go because he gets a big new box to sleep in.In all seriousness, Costco is such a cool place to shop. They have everything. The people are always friendly and it’s are to pass up their chicken bakes and $0.69 sodas. If you’re trying to decide between Costco or Sam’s, go to Costco. I’ve had both memberships and I have enjoyed Costco so much more.

Got a membership for Christmas, already have a SAMS club card. But man this is a nice alternative, I love the selection. They have all the main items you'd expect but I really love the unique items they have. Picked up some eye cream that I've been waiting at a makeup store. Costco price was $19.99 😍 for a size larger than the other store, their price is $60. So far its been a great addition.

Love Costco! This place is always clean and well organized. My only complaint is the alcohol "security guy" at the self checkout. I am obviously old enough but didn't have my driver's license and he wouldn't let me purchase. I handed him the bottle of vodka to put it back.Then I heard him harassing a group of young men that were purchasing beer. One in the group was old enough and the others were not and he wanted ID from all of them or he wouldn't let them purchase. If I had my driver's license with me I would have bought it for them.The security guy kept insisting that it's law to get ID from everybody, regardless of how old they look. Hmmmmm

Just got a membership and really like the place. It's clean, friendly staff, and some really good deals. The only reason for the 4 star is the "costco" brand toilet paper is absolutely horrible! Now we have a huge package of TP that I just want to throw away! Absolute waste of money!!

Costco member since 2000, but the Lincoln store is just too busy to get anything done quickly. On Friday, the tire department was too busy to handle a basic tire rotation, so I'll be shopping elsewhere next time, As I don't live in Lincoln anymore it's a hassle to plan ahead for the tire rotations. And, it took forever to get out of the store after shopping since there was only one person checking receipts. I miss the scan-and-go app that Sam's has and the Grand Island store is easier to deal with.

I love Costco; it is by far and away my favorite retail establishment, due mainly to its pay and treatment of employees. Which would normally lead to pleasant and happy employee interactions. This location however definitely falls short of the quality and reputation of the global brand.Upon entrance a woman was asking for memberships, and when I failed to produce this membership at the speed with which she was accustomed, she begun to aggressively reprimand and belittle me for my lack of knowledge. (“Everyone knows you can’t buy anything at Costco without a membership. We are a members only club”) While my experience at my local Costco in Mexico is that we are only asked for our membership once when we are purchasing our items.As a membership only store, Costco is obviously entitled to ask for proof of membership as many times as they would like. Though in my opinion three times in one visit is a bit much. (To enter the store you must prove it, then again while in line for check out they ask to compare the photo on your membership to your face, and finally when checking out you must produce it again) A little procedural cleanup would go a long way at this Costco.Overall, I will still patronize Costco, but my visits to this location will certainly become less frequent.

Such a great place to find my protein shakes! Purchasing them here is worth having a membership. Plus we've found other great deals! We enjoy their fresh produce and the values for meds and snack foods. I recommend going with someone who has a membership and checking it out. Know the cost of some of your most used items and see if you can't find a decent deal on that same item at Costco.
