Stayed 1 night at Oregon Trail Trading Post Campground at $31.60 per night with FHU. This 12 site campground is just a basic campground, W/E/S with shade trees. Very few residents were present and the road noise, while present subsided after dark. Paying at the Trading Post was quick and easy. The sites were mostly level, but the sewer connection are on the wrong side at several sites. Water pressure was at 30 PSI. I received NO OTA TV stations. Verizon and AT&T worked well. There is an active train track near-by but there are no crossing’s near-by requiring a train horn. There is no bathrooms or showers. No pool or kiddy playground.

We were pretty impressed with the take out,order was for 5 people.They got all our orders correct&the food was Amazing 👏 😋. Kool stuff&souvenirs to check out.Lots of cold refreshing drinks to keep you cool&there variety of Snacks was 👌 awesome. SOMTHING for everyone 😉There prices was good$$The best part was the customer service, VERY IMPRESSIVE ☺.THEY TREATED US LIKE WE WERE FAMILY..THANKS FOLKS. Catfish nuggets, chicken fried steak, kids pancakes, and kids french toast. This place is delicious. My kids said this is the best chocolate milk they have had. One kid said the pancakes were better then mine at home, not sure how I feel about that. This is a great place to stop and eat. The staff is nice and friendly.

This may be a hole in the wall cafe off the gas station on Highway 26. But, you must try it. I had the chicken fried steak skillet with some Tabasco on it. It took awhile to get the food, it was worth the wait. The food is fresh and filling and you could not beat the price. Will definitely stop here again.

Stopping to eat here is a must. Good homestyle food and great service. We had roast beef open face with homemade mashed potatoes and lots of gravy, yum & so tender. Friday is all you can eat Walleye! You won't be disappointed eating here!!

Our family ate at the cafe here the night before the '17 eclipse. We were warned ahead of time that they were kind of stressed out by the crowd of tourists packed into the town for the eclipse. However, they were very pleasant with us and the food was delicious. It turned out to be a great place for supper.

I placed an order to go for a cheeseburger and got a hamburger with nothing extra like lettuce ketchup or any other condiments. Its too bad I was down the road a few miles before I opened my order. Total rip-off. Never again. The people were not even pleasant

Well kept quiet site for an overnight. Full hookups. It's only a place to park. No bath house or playground. I came in November, so the water was understandably but turned off. There is a railroad track nearby, if that bothers you. People are friendly, and diner food is tasty. Good overnight spot with a gas station to get you rolling in the morning.

Took about 15 minutes before the waitress knew we were there. There was on 3 other tables plus us. So not to busy. Ordered the chicken strip dinner. The strips were over cooked. I mean two shades from charred. Didn't get my cottage cheese at first but the cook remembered it. I heard such high raves about thia place and yet I was not impressed. It could have been an off night but I'm not sure. Might give it one more try. Some other time.

Fantastic homemade pies! Wife and I had peach and strawberry/rhubarb and both were great! Steak sandwich was also very good - genuine thick steak and not shaved!

Absolutely no coffee to speak of in the convenience store part. It was a tiny little coffee pot that obviously hadn't had coffee in it all day long. I was going to purchase some while I was there to use the restroom because I had a long road ahead of me, but I was extremely disappointed. Didn't find out until after I used the "customers only" restroom, so I had to buy some random drink that I thought would help me just so I wouldn't get the stink eye. Seriously... no coffee?

Daryl the owner is an astonishingly masgonistic and ignorant individual. This was confirmed by locals who have dealt w him. Racist and angry at the same time. I watched him scream at customers and his staff. His physical largess, is an excuse to be mean and vocal .Also, his food is cooked poorly, his staff has no incentive to serve. The only reason he is in businesses , is because he's the only one left. This is one of the few times I will enjoy the downfall of a small biz. They only stay open because they are the only, saddest option. I hope they quit and let someone else do it better.. very angry and abusive nature.. spend your money elsewhere.

Pull through RV full hook ups. October 2020 $25. Road noise and trains but the sky was clear, night black and stars were amazing. Cute store and restaurant. Very nice people and good homemade cookies, chocolate chip and macadamia chocolate chips. We hit it twice in 2020. No campground Wifi. It has a unique private personality.
