Days Inn in Kimball Nebraska has by far the nicest rooms in Kimball. Definitely worth the drive from the interstate. Staff is very friendly. Beds are on the soft side. Have stayed there several times and the rooms are always well kept and clean. Located conveniently next to The Sagebrush restaurant which has fantastic food and service as well.

Comfy bed and pillows and good coffee in the lobby. The location is right next to a market and restaurant/bar. They allow dogs too which is a plus! There were some cons though. Vinyl flooring was better than carpet, however there was a layer of dust/grime on the floors. The shower head was grimey and caked with mineral deposits, so we soaked it in the sink with dish soap before use. Overall, the rooms just need a good, deep clean. The breakfast needs some help too. We went down for coffee every day and the same bread/donuts were in the case for 4 days. Few options and most of it did not look great. Additionally, we are 2 women staying alone and on multiple occasions, older men approached us on the street while letting our dog out. Not any fault of the hotel, but something to be wary of if you're alone. This hotel is what you'd expect from your run of the mill stay in a small town. Good if you've been on the road for a while and need a place to stay.

Usually I have a good experience here but this time is was just ok. First, there was a medium sized winged (ant?) in the bathroom. I disposed of it. There was a pesky fly that there the entirety of my two night stay. Both mornings there were cold and hot cereal options but no milk to put on it! AND there was NO ONE that came in to check on things - either morning! There was also no juice at all. Only coffee and hot chocolate. Oh and in the room there were random noises that sounded like they were coming from the small fridge - sometimes very loud and disturbing. The beds and pillows were very comfortable which I appreciated.

This place is a diamond in the rough. If you’re on your way to Cheyenne stop here the prices are way better than the city. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. It’s right off the highway. The rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly great location. The breakfast is just right will definitely be staying here in the future. Special kudos to Mark and Wess for going out of their way to make my stay special. Thanks again.

What a delightful surprise. I can honestly say this is hands-down the best experience I've ever had at a Days Inn. The owners are truly exceptional people, the rooms are both elegant and super clean and the stay was extremely memorable. Highly recommend!*Wonderful people in a wonderful location.

I was on a long road trip with my 16yo granddaughter, going to Utah from Tennessee. We had a little car issue and after contacting AAA, the local tow company directed us to this motel. It took 6 minutes for the elderly lady to come from ? Somewhere in another office? I told her I needed a room for the night, she cut me off mid sentence… saying “ya ya.. he’ll be here” we waited another 6-7 minutes, this gentleman appeared. He seemed annoyed at our intrusion. He told me the rate would be “very high” because there’s “a rodeo up in Cheyenne, Wyoming” , which was about another hour North. The rate turned out to be $289 for the 1 night ($300 after tax) We’d been on the road 4 days… this empty motel, empty town was the most I’d spent for 1 night. The motel had maybe 2 other vehicles. When I asked him about breakfast, he said rudely “What’s here will be here”, very dismissive. He put us in the room right next to the office- and behind the stairs that lead to the 2nd floor. I asked for another room.. he told me he was “full”.I felt uncomfortable in the room… it was the perfect setting for a hidden camera. Crazy. The town was virtually empty.. we walked 3-4 blocks, to a Subway deli.. which was the only place to eat in the entire town- except for a bar/ restaurant with loud music & all men inside. The Subway was in an abandoned old building.. 🤦‍♀️. The guy working didn’t understand how to cut the sandwiches in half., had 1-2 teeth, hundreds of tattoos.. and unclean. The motel room was clean enough, with working air conditioning, hot water, clean towels. Outside of being price gouged by the owner, I still wouldn’t stay in this town- ever again. I did not feel safe, but I’m a female & I had my 16yo granddaughter along. This place , in this empty town was not worth $300 a night.

As we rolled into town with an engine light on, we were weary and our expectations were low. HOWEVER we opened the door and were pleasantly surprised. Clean and spacious. Flooring and no carpet (hurrah!).It is an older building but well maintained and clean. Slept very well.

We stopped for an overnight stay on our way home from vacation. The room was large and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of towels and in-room coffee. The motel was a little off the highway, but even so it was an excellent choice. Breakfast was light--I had yogurt--but it was enough to get me on the road. Price was reasonable. Very happy with my short stay.

The rooms are what you would expect for a budget motel. The beds are comfortable, and the water is hot. Beyond that, everything is pretty basic. The staff are really nice and there's a great restaurant just across the parking lot.

A short hop off I-80 is a nicely maintained Inn with friendly staff and a nice breakfast. Restaurant next door, grocery store two doors down, nice quiet location. Pet friendly.Rooms: The room was decent. Bed was comfy. Nice bathroom vanity area. Downfall was lots of flies, but the desk clerk apologized and explained that it was due to the corn and cattle farming. They did have flyswatters, and it did keep our pup entertainedFood & drinks: Very nice little breakfast area, various breads, muffins, cereal, biscuits and gravy, hard boiled eggs and a Kerig for coffee, tea, or cocoa.Noteworthy details: If you have the chance, check out the restaurant next door. Only open for dinner but worth the wait. Excellent food and very affordable. Also stop by the park and see the Titan missle.

We had a fantastic four night stay with ONE exception. The “Breakfast” bar was fully stocked for our first morning but empty until day we left. But we didn’t come to Kimball for the motel breakfast. The room was updated, clean, and extremely comfortable. Room alone was 10/10. Would definitely stay here again.

During the biggest storm in Wyoming history, I-80 was shut down for almost four days, and I got stuck in Kimball. The staff at Days Inn were incredible. Not only did they help me get the best rate and work with me as I continued to extend my stay while waiting for the roads to open, they made homemade soup and provided wonderful breakfasts to make sure that the guests at the hotel had something to eat when all the stores and restaurants in town were shut down. I was so grateful to everyone for providing such a welcoming and homey place to stay during my time in Kimball. The rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable and the staff did an amazing job making sure we were all comfortable and the parking lot and walkways were cleared of snow as quickly as possible. My favorite thing about the rooms was the beautiful laminate floors. This is the first hotel I've stayed at that didn't have nasty carpet in the rooms and it made the room feel much cleaner and more sanitary. The floors were also very tasteful and comfortable and were decorated beautifully, making this feel like a significantly classier hotel than I was expecting from a Days Inn. If I could give 6 stars, I would! Huge thanks to everyone who made this stay so wonderful and welcoming!

The rooms are clean and beds are AMAZING. Theres a dairy queen next door so within walking distance if your in need of food. And the owners are honestly the nicest people we've met yet at any hotel we've ever been to. So if your in the area stop by and enjoy your stay like we did. Thanks y'all we will see y'all next year.

We arrived late at night and I was so happy that they made up the pull out couch for us! It was nice to be able to put kids to bed and not have to make the bed. Breakfast was small but I loved that they had microwave options(breakfast bowls) it was yummy. Overall the beds were clean and comfy!

Comfortable beds. Horrible dirty, signs of previously having bed bugs (pic of bed). Was told "no preventative measures are taken unless I see them" desk attendant. Does he not know 90% of the time they are Not visible to the naked eye? Again, I asked about his preventative measures, I understand they happen, but help me decide what I need to do by letting me know what you do. I can bag, dryer and freeze our items as we leave and continue. Which I have already started before leaving today. Well, at least he was honest. He does nothing for preventative maintenance. So full scale attack on mine so not to spread past his motel. His preventative measure of bug bags on the mattress is completely worthless, as it has holes in it. (Pictures)Should I discuss the filth in the shower? The dead beetles likely from September (this is February)? The already opened coffee package? The hair balls that escaped from under the beds every time we walked by (these were hard laminate floors, beds on wheels. Please, help me understand the reason for this)? Ants in the bathroom? How about he started so kind, "I gave you the AAA discount" no you didn't same cost as calling wyndham directly to make reservations.

Rooms are clean and well lit. TV channel options was great. Take and go breakfasts were very helpful and offered all day long. BLACKOUT CURTAINS were so appreciated, especially since my husband works at night.

We pulled up thinking, "oh boy, what have we done?" But we were wrong! The rooms were spacious and beautifully kept. While it clearly is older, it was super clean. Comfortable beds. And the breakfast, again at first glance not inviting, actually was very filling. They have breakfast items pre-made for patrons to pop in the microwave. I had a biscuit in sausage gravy that was quite delicious. Will definitely stay here again if the need arises!

Honestly, it was the nicest, cleanest place we stayed at on our whole trip, especially for the price. Staff was super friendly, as well. We kept the cost of hotel rooms under 90 each night, so we weren't expecting a lot. It is off the interstate 2 or 3 miles, but definitely worth it if you want a clean room with a comfy bed.

Overall this is a pretty good motel, especially for the price. I was here overnight for work in the area and was satisfied. It's an older hotel and the rooms are showing their age, with some outdated furniture and old carpet and a slight musty smell. However, the proprietors were very friendly and they obviously take pride in the place, because it was very clean and quite comfortable, even being older with smaller rooms. The internet is free and surprisingly fast, allowing streaming of shows, etc. Overall, a very satisfactory place to stay if you're in Kimball for whatever reason.

I felt very safe and welcomed in this small town motel. It is in a most convenient location for the coffee shop, deli and groceries. It was a quiet motel also and it was very full of guests! I was so impressed that I joined your rewards program. Since I will be traveling more I am only going to stay at Wyndham hotels!
