Extremely rude customer service. I have never purchased anything from Pet Smart before and at this point don't think I ever will after the lazy sales associate. I explained to the associate that I was calling from 80 miles away and asked if she could do a stock check on an $80 item. That I have the item number. She barely let me get my words out and cut me off. Did not want to make the trip only to find out the item was not available

We made the trip to Kearney to buy our daughter a hamster from North Platte. We were very disappointed when we arrived and they were sold out. Our fault we should have called in advance. Needless to say we had a very upset 8 year old. She had been looking forward to this as it was her Christmas present from us. Well the manager seen how upset she was and informed us that they had one that had been picked on in the back. They could not sell him but that we could adopt him. My daughter was so happy and she got to adopt him. Not only did our daughter get her hamster but we also left with a crested gecko. The Manager and young lady that were working that day were simply amazing. And we will for sure be back!

Took my 2 almost 3 year old dog for her first ever grooming. She’s a husky so she has a lot of undercoat. We got there at 10am and the lady that checked us in was so nice. Really appreciate her. The groomer was also very nice. We left when they said it would be about a 3 hour wait. They called around 2.5hours later letting us know she was ready. The service that we booked would give her a de-shed, and undercoat removal. She looks as if she is half way brushed and we walk in with her collar and harness. We left without a collar.

Visit was good. Staff was friendly at check out but didn't see anyone on the floor other than the one hosting a training class. Inflation has hit hard. Cat food brands have jumped nearly $10 a bag. Royal Cainine and Science Diet specifically.

Petsmart is only good for dogs and cats. As I'm typing this message, there's a green cheek conure sitting in a cage rotting away, depressed, because no one in this day and age with the money wants a bird, and the people who would actually love the thing can't afford it. If an animal is gonna cost over $100 to adopt out the door, it needs to be special order. Did yall know storing multiple male reptiles in a 1ft x 1ft enclosure stresses them out beyond comprehension? If you're intending on buying a smaller pet, like a reptile or rodent, it's in your best interest to make a trip to Lincoln or GI for stores specifically targeted at those animals. When you buy a reptile from petsmart, that makes them think there's a market, which results in a $700 bird rotting away for all the little kids to come and bang on the enclosure of. The staff are hardly knowledgeable, which isn't their fault. But living creatures aren't toys. They are to be viewed as, at the very least, a really REALLY close friend who you have the responsibility of. Petsmart is about as evil as evil gets, and it's really sad that lives are on the line as a result.

I REALLY wanted to love the grooming job that was done for our dogs, but even after a return trip the same week it still looks like they were half way groomed 🤷🏼‍♀️. We took our dogs in for a wash, cut/shave/ and even upgraded to a package with nail grinding, teeth brushing, and a bandana. We were asked what we wanted and I asked that we ‘cut’ them short enough to help with shedding, help cool them down, but not so short that they’d sunburn. I shared a picture of what they usually look like after being groomed. When I went to pick them up I had to ask if they had done anything with them because they didn’t look like they had been cut, sharp nails still, and no bandanas. I was told that this was as short as they could ‘cut’ without damaging the coat and that was what I had requested 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have no idea… didn’t even know that was a thing. Asked for the manager to call me so that we could get them in for a ‘shave’ to correct this, paid my bill and took them home. I didn’t hear anything but followed up myself. Eventually was able to bring them back in 4 days later. They showed me examples of how short I wanted them shaved- chose the length. Picked then back up -still no bandanas and nails still sharp. They did shave the top of the dogs, but underside, ears, and tail were still long. Then the manager attempted to ‘ring me up’ again. I politely declined 😉as this was an attempt to correct what had been done incorrectly 4 days earlier. Unfortunately I’ve just had to make another appointment with our old groomer to finally get the constant shedding taken care of. Typically we go at least 3-4 months between grooming appointments, not 1 month. I’m not upset, just hoping the grooming department will get the guidance and grooming education they need to truly elevate this department within the store.

It's been awhile since a bought fish from Petsmart and now I remember why - they are all sick and most will die. i purchased several otocinclus about 4 years back and almost lost my 2 huge fancy goldfish, but treated the water with Fin & Body Cure and the GF managed to tough it out. I finally lost my 2 huge goldfish after 5 years and decided to add a variety of small fish to my 30 gallon tank and breeding otoes. I purchased 16 fish for nearly $70-guppies, tetras, platys and plecos. They were guaranteed for 14 days and within 14 days I replaced them all once for a total of 32 dead fish as well as losing 4 of my female breeding otoes. After my 3rd trip to the store with a bag of 8 dead fish maybe a red flag should have been raised. Shame on me for not questioning the staff. No more fish from Petsmart for me! And i wouldn't recommend them to anyone. i wish Pet Kingdom was still around :-(

The supplies they have for the animals is amazing. We were there specifically for fish and fish supplies that day the girl that helped us was very knowledgeable. If we need fish supplies we will go back there again.

I am disappointed. I wanted to get my dog groomed and shaved. They said he was “too scared” but he should be good to go next time. First off, if he was too scared this time what makes you think he won’t be scared next time. The only thing going to not make him scared is them introducing it and him realizing it’s not scary. Waiting a week or month isn’t going to make him less scared. So I paid $50 for him to not even get shaved. They just bathed him and brushed him and trimmed his nails. Which I could have done myself, for free. That’s not what I asked for and I wouldn’t have taken him if I knew they wouldn’t cut him. Now he looks ridiculous and I am very unhappy. Mind you he is a doodle, so he had this beautiful curly, wavy coat. And they just brushed it all out. Like I said, so disappointed, I wanted him cut and groomed. I will not be going back.

Stopped in for turtle supplies. It was nice to see it was in stock. I also noticed they had more animals (reptiles, fish) than they had before. It's good to see the store coming back to the way it was. Always liked seeing the pets there that u can adopt. Will be back soon.

Great customer service. I had bought a 60 gallon tank with a stand and the whole get up. A week later the same tank was on sale for $50 cheaper. I asked the sales guy if he could refund me the difference since I had just bought it. He agreed and I got some money back!! My dog loves coming into the store with me. I'll definitely keep giving them my business.

Just had kira in for grooming. Would like at least some refund. The job was half done. Clearly not brushed well enough and nails not done very well. Also didn't realize there was a tiny sign that says hit the buzzer so sat around waiting at the desk and wondering the store for 15 minutes before realizing that.

I absolutely love that we have a PetSmart here now the sad thing is that they're extremely expensive so I don't shop in there very often I did this time because you guys had a sale and a lot of stuff on clearance when we live in this day and age with covid-19 and the cost of inflation rising every day pennies count every single penny counts. so if you were able to lower your prices or have more sales I would shop in there more often but you guys do have great toys for cats and dogs and very good food for pets. But I had a very good visit there yesterday everyone was very nice and I donated to the pet fund that you guys have there and you had lots of good selection for pets.

Pets mart did a excellent job on my dogs nails. They got her in at a moments notice. I can always tell by the way my dog acts when I pick her up if they were good to her or not.I was disappointed when I spoke to a manager in the store we were having a simple conversation and he mentioned they were running out of stock. He told me most of the products comes from China. These companies need to buy products made in the USA not from China. I'll never buy any toys that comes from China. These businesses need to support the United States

I had some issues with a few fish and a snail I bought there, but overall I've had a good experience with the pets I've bought. Right now I have a blue and red veil tail betta and two mystery snails that are super super cute! They were pretty cheap but the price doesn't detract from the quality!

Great staff, wonderful service, awesome advice! I will definitely be back!!I was in for the salon and my groomer was so knowledgeable about the proper care of my beloved pup. She even took the time to show me the most effective way to brush her out so I can have the haircut I desire! She was so nice I appreciate everything! She even did what I think she said a hands on assessment and walked through all the needs of my dog and got me the best package And steered me away from the ones that wont help even though those were more expensive. It's definitely nice to have a well trained experienced groomer who cares about the well-being of our dogs and not the price tag! And my dog looked better than ever had been.I recommend everyone go see the female groomer/ stylist at petsmart! She is wonderful i just don't remember her name. But as I was told she's the only female stylist.
