Menards is an awesome place where you can get some pretty decent stuff here. They have lumber they have hardware they have tools and not really tools. Their tool selection while extensive has no major brands and I couldn't even buy cordless tools here or I would never buy cordless tools here. Menard does not have a panel saw. Menards does offer discounts the majority of the time with your receipt or I should say its a rebate. Having shopped here repeatedly over the year is a good enough place. I do shop at other big box stores for their cordless tool selection.

Went to get wrist braces, was helped by 2 associates, grabbed them and walked to put them in my mother's cart. Proceeded to get a soda and check out while mom continued shopping. Got stopped by the same associates at exit demanding to see receipt and asking where the braces wereI told them with my mother, then they asked where she was. I told them where she was. I assume they were following me and thought I was stealing a pair of 15 dollar braces. They have cameras installed everywhere. If they were so concerned they could have checked them to see where i went and what i did. I dont appreciate being made to feel like a criminal. Never again. I'm done with Menards

Kearney Menards really dropping the ball lately it seems in the reviews. I can see why.Had a contractor quote and build me a deck from material I liked and picked at Menards that said it was available.Online said the materials were available, and turns out they were not even close to available….That’s a $10,000+ sale Kearney Menards lost….

stood around in the plumbing section looking for a connector for the supply side of my kitchen sink. over at the desk there was a screen that said 3 ppl available to help. didn't see a single one. guessed on some parts, take them check out, only 2 registers open and people backed up 6 or 7 deep on both registers. all the way out to the isle and down the isle deep. customer service is a thing of the past i guess

Friendly, approachable, polite and helpful staffs, assisting us with all that we need to buy for our new home, we updated our bathroom, and the staffs are always there to answer every inquiry, now our bathroom look so elegant. Got our new Refrigerator too, French door ! And so much choices from carpets, cornices , I even got a collar for my dog and snacks to go.. now it’s time to do our next bathroom project.. and basement updates… Thank you Menards.. ♥️♥️♥️

I have spent a lot of money through the years with this company with my 4 different houses and the workers have always been wonderful and I approached the Kearney Ne manager and he was the rudest person I have ever felt with. I was totally wrong with the rebate program but he handled it so horribly and rude . My tone then showed it with him which I’m not proud of , but I was kind to the other two wonderful gals sitting at the customer service place. He put down the management at GI and I went on to say I did most of my business through the years there and they were always the kindest people. This manager in Kearney needs to be sent to a training on proper behavior in management . I would have been perfectly ok with the situation if he had handled himself better . I hope no other customers get treated like this. I will never tell people to go to Kearney menards but to go to GI or Hastings.

Horrible customer service! While I was standing in line, the customer in front of me had to do a price check. I asked the cashier if there were any other lines open. She responded in a rude tone of voice that I just would have to be patient. I said I'd like to talk to her manager. You don't talk to your customers that way. Well the manager wasn't any better. He just smiled and sarcastically told me to have a nice day. From the looks of other reviews, I'm not the only one who received this kind of treatment. I'll go to Ace Hardware from now on.

This store has the worst help in the world, I’m a senior citizen and went with my husband to get lumber 1st the wood we purchased was so bad we went in to get our money back cause there wasn’t a decent board in the pile then they had 3 employees sitting on their butts visiting while we had to get 2 x12 x 10 boards from the upper level and down by our selves. Laziest staff I have ever seen anywhere, I’m really surprised you don’t have a ton of lawsuits because theres never any help loading even from the upper level,

Very nice place to get hardware and tools and many other supplies.However, Menards is extremely liberal, as was proven during COVID with many restrictions and not even allowing children and young adults into the store due to the governmental pandemic and shutdowns.

We’ve been long time customers at this Menards… we’ve left reviews before , always 5s… but unfortunately not this time. I know Menards is like everyone right now with having trouble with hiring employees, but the level of customer service we have come to know and expect at our Kearney Menards has sadly disappeared. Our last two visits, our interactions with a south service desk employee/manager has caused us to just decide to order online from Home Depot or Amazon rather than buy from our local Menards store. Each interaction we have with this young man is curt, non- hospitable, and frankly aside from him just telling us he could care less… he’s telling us he could care less. The irony that he has been assigned to the ‘service desk’ is definitely not wasted on us 😉. A position where he is not interacting with customers ( especially when he’s costing the store business) might be better suited for him. On a bright note- Payge was our cashier. She was beyond pleasant and helpful. Please be sure to commend her for her customer service skills and maybe a move to the service desk… as she certainly knows how to care for customers and positively represent Menards.

We used to love Menards. But recently, we placed an order for a door, realized within minutes of getting home that we had asked for the wrong size, called to ask them to correct the dimensions since the order wasn't in production yet and thought we were good to go. Almost a month went by of not hearing anything so my husband went in to find out why it wasn't ready for pick up. He found out the wrong door ended up being ordered and had been sitting at the store for weeks. We had to pay a restocking fee for their ordering mistake and wait another week for the correct door to come in. The employee refused to acknowledge that it was the store's mistake. It's just not cool.

It's always an issue with these people. Paid for pink insulation board and they don't have in stocked went to get my money back and have to argue with these kids I paid cash so I should get cash but they want my card NO! Paid cash so give me cash back but my wife put her card in and then they say we will get it in 5 to 10 days worse service and will not shop at that store again if I have to drive an hour and go to home depot so be it the Kearney ne store is the worse service don't go there!!!!

I used to work here, but most of the team members here are very friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of different items in stock and even more for order, great pricing and they guarantee the lowest pricing of all local competition. If you have any questions or concerns you can always bring them up the the team members and if they can't help then they'll find you someone who can. Now I didn't give it 5 stars because some of the team members are useless, and the receiving department in the yard can be slow. But over all it is a great place to shop.

I have been here 3 times to get some paint and all those times I have been told to come back in a week for it to be in stock. Today I came in and was told they have 4 in stock,but they can't finde them. They tell me sorry and to come back in a few days. I'm tired of wasting my time coming here.

Employees back in Kitchen house wear. Really didn't seem to want and help. Also they took 45 minutes to bring to load the dishwasher on cart and staff wasn't happy about pushing it up front to check out. I don't shop here for this reason because of the rude employees. Friend asked me to pick it up for her cause I live in Kearney.

I was told I could not enter without a face mask even with my medical exemption. I walked to the car and got a mask to get in the door. Walked into the store and pointed at my mask at the the little boy who was guarding the entrance. I went into some aisles and found two of the three things that I needed. I was not within twenty feet of anyone during this time. A manager then came up to me and told me to put down my things and leave. He got well within six feet and was barking orders as I left as I was not wearing the mask over my nose. So I took it off. This made him mad. Good I was mad too because he told me that the cameras showed me flipping off the little guard boy. I did no such thing. But when walked past him again I sure did. “Here’s the real one.” The manager or safety contractor whoever he was, followed me to my car asking for my name and telling me that I am banned. I told him I would not give him my name. He said, “fine I’ll have the cops ban you.” He took pictures of my plate. Lol ok. I am never shopping at Menards again. They went out of their way to harass a medical exemption while breaking social distancing.

I purchased a dishwasher and at the display it said it has a $200 mail in rebate. After the purchase I asked what I needed to do for the mail in rebate because it didn't show anything on the receipt. Turns out the mail in rebate offer had expired. Menards stood behind the display rebate and gave me in-store credit for $214. Much appreciated Menards.

We got charged incorrect prices at checkout, charging us over $150 extra. The manager was prompt to fix that issue. My biggest problem was later. While in the parking lot the group of kids working offered no assistance to my husband who was loading many large, heavy things. There were three of them right next to the pick up. So much for service these days.

Looked online before I drove 40 minutes to buy a dorm room refrigerator to make sure they had the one I was looking for. After arriving, I looked and they only had 3 there, none of which I was looking for. When I asked a representative there if that was all they had, he shrugged his shoulders, turned around and walked away. I took my money to walmart and bought one. Very unprofessional and the customer service was terrible. I will not ever shop in there again.

I shop here often. They have everything I need for every project. They have everything I need for my house and more. I also bought almost all of my christmas gifts here and I just bought my 8 year old niece's birthday gift. And they have great prices and awesome sales.
