We enjoyed a very tasty roast beef and sloppy joe sandwich (not pictured) on homemade buns, homemade potato salad, and chips /drink. We didn't have the ice cream, but a few people came in to get milkshakes and sundaes - they looked really good. Its a little storefront, but they also have tables outside. We will be definitely be making it back to this place!Parking: 4 - 5 behind the restaurant

Hole in the wall joint with awesome, fresh food. My wife, 3 kids and I ate here for both breakfast and lunch. Had home made cinnamon roll and sausage, egg, and cheddar sandwich for breakfast and they were delicious. The homemade bun for the breakfast sandwich was warm and soft. The cinnamon roll had just the right amount of frosting so that the sweetness didn't overpower the cinnamon. For lunch I had the hot dog and potato salad. The hot dog bun was homemade and soft; the potato salad was amazing!

I don’t think I have had a better cinnamon roll. Just the right amount of cinnamon and frosting. The pecan rolls are amazing too and the bread pudding? Forgetaboutit! Honestly, I could eat here everyday because the lunch menu is spectacular. The pulled pork is my favorite. Tess is always smiling and everyone who works there is friendly. It’s almost as if you’re stepping into the kitchen of a loved one, pulling up a chair to the table, and eating with family. It is a special, special place.

I wish I could've visited here before they moved but I'm so glad I was able to finally try them out!Thankfully they had chicken noodle soup as a special that day (I don't eat any other meat) and it was DELICIOUS.The three women who helped us were kind and friendly, they have reasonable pricing, and decent sized servings!We must've come right before the lunch crowd because more people came in after us, but I've heard they've always been popular! Now I know why!Dietary restrictions: It would be difficult for a vegetarian or lactose intolerant person, like myself, to find something they could eat!Parking: It's a small unpaved lot but there are streets and sidewalks around.Kid-friendliness: They loved my son and talked about their families. There was also another child there who seemed happy with his ice cream and I believe they had a high chair? Sorry I don't quite recall since we didn't stay.

Saturday Lunch Stop- when traveling, always stop in the smaller towns! Taking Historic Hwy 20 and came thru Jackson, NE after crossing the River from Iowa. The Lunch Box popped up on the map and this worked perfect! Besides the normal menu, today was Sausage Gravy and Biscuits and Beef Barley Soup <had to ask if they did something special cause it is the day after Saint Patty’s Day and they had sold out of the Corned Beef in one hour!> I had the soup and my ol’man had the Sausage Gravy and Biscuits…DELICIOUS!! Both were served Piping Hot! And ample servings to boot! The soup hit the spot as right now I am on the end of a “bad cold”….We took a bread pudding to go, because it is made out of their famous cinnamon rolls- I snuck a taste before going out the door and this is how bread pudding is done well, my tummy is happy. Thank you for the welcoming smile, friendly and caring atmosphere. Well done!

This place is super small for lunch in house and why I take to go but I enjoy the sloppy joe with pickles and baked beans are amazing. My all time favorite and what keeps me coming back each week is the pecan rolls and cinnamon rolls..now these are homade and to die for....I believe it's 15.00 for six rolls...and way better then cinnabon or any commercial company....this lady makes them herself and the taste is like grandma's baking at home...I pop in micro for 30 seconds add butter and it's a wonderful treat that I won't share once I bring home.
