We had an emergency on a Saturday, and when I called the vet, he was very nice and understanding. He met us at the clinic and helped my daughter through having to make a tough choice about her cat. He took the time to explain things to her and to let her say her goodbyes without feeling rushed. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

In an emergency time before it was closing [with-in 4 mins or so] everyone was concerned about getting home rather than answering the bell that rang when the door opened up!!Then it was going to be an 'over the hour charge" of $100.00 because I didn't call from Minden{I forgot to grab my phone 《& NOT KNOWING》 that the Minden office was closed on Thursdays so I made a direct line to the Holdrege office ASAP from their parking lot in Minden.I wasn'tgoing to have our precious cat touched becauseI was afraid -since "everyone" was in a hurry to be home that evening, that our cat wouldn'treceiveall the possible test/care that was to be needed & something maybe missed...figuredour familystood a much better chance of taking our chances until Fridays morning.***FAST FORWARD to Friday, went to Minden. BECAUSE OF THE SERIOUSNESS of our pet's needs we needed a very type of special x-ray!!! "UNfortunately" for us this was only @ the Holdrege clinic-back we apprehensivley went!!Because of our pet's critical status he was placed in their ICU Ward w/IV('s) & had to stay @least overnight 🙄...staff was abit more friendlier during the daylight working hours 《& after rcvng a call from one of the vet owner's in Minden clinic》.Saturday morning arrives & we were asked to wait more til the latter morning to hear back from Dr. Heather《WONDERFUL, ECT. ECT.》. WE were able to come & pick him up in abit with meds galore but certainly a much more healthier 🐈 cat.**the staff @ Holdrege on Friday & Saturday were much more pleasant to deal with after the call from Dr. Heather but I certainly wouldn't want to be needing help towards the end of their day for sure!!! 《Minden 's staff has always been very pleasant to deal with...Holdrege could take some classes from them-just say'n!》BUT OVERALL...we are EXTREMELY GRATEFUL 🙏 to the Holdrege staff in the fine care on Friday-Saturday.

Have brought all my German Shepherd’s and cats here for almost absolutely everything. Had an emergency this last Saturday where a mower took off 50% of my dogs, lower jaw. For what the incident was, I could not be any happier of how my German Shepherd turned out.For an emergency situation that was absolutely horrendous and the amount of work that was needed, it was extremely fairly priced.Can NOT be thankful enough to be blessed with these folk.

The staff is always great with my dog and cat! And they communicate well with me which is ways appreciated and helpful 😁. My animals loved the gals working there and the vets were patient with my questions as a new dog and cat owner.

I have been going to this clinic for a couple of years and have never had a bad experience. Previously, the vets and techs that have treated my pets have been wonderful, gentle and compassionate, until today. The vet that came to examine my 10 pound chihuahua was abrupt, and not very gentle with my already under the weather sweet dog. I had reservations about even letting this vet treat her, but her problem needed attention today, and she will have to remain at the clinic until later this afternoon. Depending the outcome, I will continue to use this clinic, just will refuse to have this particular, fairly recent graduate from Veterinary school treat any of my animals ever again.

Had to have our 16 year old kitty put to sleep. They were remarkably caring and considerate of all of us. They offered paw prints which calms my heart. But when I picked up her ashes. Well, they already came in an urn. So all I can say is Thank you Holdrege Vet Clinic!!❤❤❤

They're fairly compassionate and are quite professional. We really appreciated that they were willing to work with us to get our bill paid off.Update - we had big issues with their billing, contacted then and they stood by the charges, which were massive in comparison to the work done, I emphatically believe.Legally, they are fine. Morally, they need to live with themselves. Business-wise they made a a very short sighted decision.

Woman at the front desk was rude and condescending. She seemed to have a chip on her shoulder and had zero compassion. The rest of the staff was wonderful but it felt like too little, too late. I'd give 5 starts if she was gone.

My family has taken our family pets to HVC since Stan and Pat Ourada opened the doors. They are wonderful with your little furbabies. Especially Carrie who allowed our little dachshund Holly, may she rest in peace, to go home at night with her.

We do not have too many choices in the Holdege area for veterinarian care, but I ham content with the service I receive at HVC. The first time I called them, I was given a choice for Large Animals (press 1), for Small Animals (press 2). I have large dogs, but no matter how large your dog is, that is not a large animal. The groomer seems to have a way with my dogs and is very knowledgeable. I would recommend this place for all dogs, cats and wombats.

Staff come off as rude, though they may not mean to be. Took my dog to get his nails trimmed and he came out with superficial cuts. I didn't think anything of them, as I know he tends to get scared when trimming his nails, but the little cuts turned into horrible scars that almost looked infected. I switched vets after this visit.

Worst place ever only about money don't care about the animals lives my mother's cat was literally gasping for air and they refused service bc I didn't have all the money upfront for them to treat her then the supposed "partial owner" is the rudest one wants to kick me and my mom's cat out of their clinic bc I asked if there was any real vets that ain't money hungry and can help me right then worst place would not ever recommend to anyone
