The lawn around the store looks awful. There are 3ft tall noxious weeds growing. It obviously hasn't been mowed for weeks. It makes Holdrege and Dollar General look bad

Some of the help is wonderful, cheerful and helpful and seem happy to be there. But a number of the others don't make eye contact, don't speak to you and are overall surly. Also, they keep their aisles full of product almost all the time. You have to roll heavy carts or push boxes out of your way, or not get that item. If not for the nice employees I would have given them a one star rating.

Lots of good products and prices. However, very uninviting with the cluttered aisles. No clerk available quite often. Make us feel welcome, since we are your paycheck.

As of Match, 2018...They STILL keep the aisles far too crowded. You can hardly get around the store sometimes. I don't know if they order too much, too often or what. An even worse problem is how rarely they have the cash registers properly manned. There's almost always a line and it's usually quite long, maybe up to eight or nine people with carts. Meanwhile, there's only one pie clerk, slaving away at the register. All the rest of the employees seem to magically disappear into the back of the store somewhere.********************************************It would be nice if they didn't have so much stock out in the aisles but there's probably no other solution. The clerks are usually quite friendly.*****************************************Update on 6/1/2017: They seem to be Under New Management or something. Now the aisles seem to be way more stocked than before. Worse than that, they almost never have more than one person running a register, no matter how many people are standing in line waiting.

I can never get what I want in this store. Shelves are usually unstocked. They have carts sitting in the aisles that block you from moving through them easily. My debit card never works at their store. It works everywhere else. Poor customer service and poor managing. Not ever going back.

This store usually has what I need, but it is always cluttered. I visited a Dollar General in Blue Hill that was immaculate. At this one, they don't seem to be in too much of a hurry. The best thing I ever purchased there were indoor snowballs.

This store was the worst store I have ever been in! I could not go through not even one aisle without stumbling over something, boxes, carts, plastic containers etc.. one aisle was almost clear it had about 8 boxes of crackers laying on the floor. I am not saying this in gest it was the most horrible experience I have ever had in a dollar general. In fact I almost called the health department because this is a health hazard. I would not even give one star but it won't let me submit without checking one

The cashier with red hair always in a pony tale is as rude as they come! Told her we were paying 1 way & she did the total opposite & didnt even apologize. The store is always cluttered.

It is very nice to be treated with a smile and a hello when walking into this dollar general. The location needs to be bigger for all the traffic it receives. This is a popular stop in Holdrege and could use a bigger building to handle the foot traffic. It's always a pleasure coming here!

Cabelas is amazing! Every time I walk in I'm excited to see all the wall mounts. To me it's educational! The variety for the outdoorsman, hunter and me trying to stay warm and dry at work! I asked a staff member about a coat. He said idk this isn't my department and walked off. Never, have I ever been treated so rude. Other staff have said, I'm not for sure, this isn't my department, let me go get someone to help you.

Horrible! Dirty! Used the restroom with my 5 year old daughter and 1 year old son and it was so dirty I didn't want them touching anything! Store was a mess, we had a hard time getting around.

I love DG because they are very fair priced and have a lot of the same products walmart or local grocery stores carry just at much better affordable pricing! Also its not nearly as busy as your larger stores so its much easier to get in and out if your in a hurry! They also have great coloring books that you dont find anywhere else and other neat items!

Ailes are to narrow and often blocked by the carts they use to put their new stock on and to few employees to empty them. Sometimes this leads to long lines at the poorly designed checkout counters because they are not there... they are trying to get stock out I guess. The whole front end is a poorly designed front end and doesn't have good customer flow. We do shop there occasionally but not very often. I think Dollar General missed the boat when designing the size and the flow of customer traffic. These stores are packed with to much merchandise and that could be drastically reduced to give customers a better shopping experience.

Manager is a mean spirited person and is very disrespectful to her employees. Treats them horrible!!! Store is dirty, wait time is bad because everyone doesn't want to work. She should be reprimanded or fired.

While in the store seen my daughter in law shopping and 5 month old grand baby with a cart full. She went to check out . She ask if she could load a prepaid visa she was buying with a money order and the clerk said yes. It would not work . The clerk made her LEAVE her cart full that SHE HAD ALREADY PAID FOR to go cash money order. When she left the clerk was telling the 6 customers up there how stupid my daughter in law was and continued to put my daughter in law down speaking badly of her. I put the cart full of products I had back on A SHELF and left. I CALL THAT TERRIBLE COUSTOMER SERVICE AND WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN

Very clean and organized store. Great for grabbing a little of everything and then some. Has handicap parking right in front along with a handicap accessable ramp.

I have been to several other Dollar General's and this is the best one around. They get low on produce from time to time but for good reason...their best all the time.

It's a dollar general. You know what you're going to get. Cheaply made products, some good deals, and very long lines. They never, EVER call someone to help to check.

I will say they are good for low prices BUT man they need a bigger store or rearrange their shelving because their isles are always cluttered with merchandise trolleys.
