I did not personally visit the location but I ordered online. Very professional staff. Followed up for the order and made sure that I had the correct address. I am very grateful to them. Order also passed the inspection and all the rescue cats appreciate it.

I have spoken with Amy several times. She has gone above and beyond helping me switch my little 5 lb dog’s pain medicine from pills to liquid. Pancreatitis is very painful and it’s imperative to not run out of medicine. Amy made calls to the vet to wrote the Rx and kept in contact with me. I don’t have other names but I have used Heartland for my other script and their customer service and their vet pharmacy personnel are stellar. So glad I found them. I highly recommend this pet pharmacy.

Unfortunately I had an issue with a bottle of cranberry chews shipped to me that literally had turned into powder! I contacted Heartland and Maelynn asked a few particulars and got the issue resolved quickly. She was kind enough to send me a new bottle, free of charge. Great company with concerned representatives.

It took a while for my prescription to get processed. I'm not sure where the delay was from. Heartland said they didn't get approval from my vet, and my vet said they didn't get the request from Heartland. It took several emails and phone calls back and forth between them and me. Once it was approved, the order was filled and sent quickly.

Incredible service! My dog has some advanced health issues we were not aware of when we adopted him. The Heartland team took it upon themselves to expedite the order, included a get well note, and sent me follow up notes to make sure we had everything we needed and were prepared for his upcoming procedures. Oh boy!!I told Amy ( phone person) that I had difficultly looking up two products for my cats on line. I do have an account with your company. After one of the products she said “good bye” does not want to help on the second product. Please find her a position which does not related to customer services.

Price is great, but you get what you pay for. My dog's heart meds are late EVERY SINGLE MONTH. A different reason every time. No real discount considering I have to ask my vet every month for the huge horsepills so my elderly dog does not have to go without her meds. Multiple calls to customer service, but nothing is ever resolved. You would get a more effective response from a conversation with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.updated upon company response:We have already had that "discussion" and you agreed to ship earlier than 30 days... that never happened and when I asked about it on ANOTHER customer service call, I was told your "system does not allow that". So try again. Maybe instead of replying the same nonsense to every one of these low reviews, work on actually solving the issues.

I was able to order the exact items necessary to administer an Adequan series to my mare (syringes & needles). I appreciated that I didn't have to order way more than I needed as in some other places. Everything arrived promptly & it was a good shopping experience.

Yes, I received and THANK YOU! My dog has a tumor and this medicine was recommended by my vet. The results were a miracle. The turnaround in my dog was amazing. While I know this is not a cure, it has improved her end-of-life situation tremendously. I will be reordering as we ultimately don't know how long Susie has.

So frustrating, avoid this place at all costs. I gave them so many tries because they were good at first. Multiple times my order was wrong, or never showed up, or I was charged twice, or multiple calls never returned. I can't take it anymore and I don't even trust them to make the medications correctly at this point with how poorly they are run, so I'm not even giving my cat the latest bottle of meds that showed up a month late. Switching pharmacies today.

If I could give more stars, I would. We moved to another state where my dogs prescription was much more expensive, so we went online searching for her medication. Knowing that it must be refrigerated, we were concerned about it being shipped. All the fears were eliminated when it arrived and we saw the care taken to ensure that it stayed refrigerated in transit. The ice packs inside the surprise were still frozen!! So impressed with your customer service.

This is the worst online pet pharmacy that I have ever dealt with. I sent customer service an email requesting information on my order. I received a robot auto reply immediately, but never got a real response to my inquiry from a human being. Customer service here is nonexistent My order finally shipped, so at least I will eventually receive my order. If your order is time sensitive / urgent, I strongly suggest using another pharmacy. There are plenty more out there who do better than these guys. This is my last order with Heartland.

I have ordered here multiple times and my dog has gone days without his medication because their shipping is so slow. It took multiple attempts to get ahold of a real person and by the time I did they weren’t able to do anything and just blamed the issue on shipping. I am changing to a different pharmacy moving forward.

I ordered through Heartland Veterinary Supply for several years. My beautiful 15 year old Brandy passed away 3 months ago. In the days and weeks to follow, it was very upsetting to receive the frequent text messages containing coupon codes from Heartland. I called them a little over a month ago to notify them of Brandy's passing so they could note/close out our account and asked if they would please cancel the texts. The woman who answered was very curt in her response, did not even acknowledge the loss. Her lack of empathy took me by surprise. I continued to receive text messages, sometimes three in a week's time. Today I decided to call again to explain the situation. I was told "just reply stop and you won't get them any more " again with no regard or expression of empathy. They really should consider changing their name....there is absolutely no heart whatsoever in this company. A caring business would say something like "we're sorry to hear this"....followed by~ "we can absolutely remove your name" or "we are unable to do this on our end but if you reply stop....." or anything else for that matter. The only reason I am giving even one star in my rating is because of their reasonable pricing. I was able to fill all but one of the prescriptions that my girl required twice a day and appreciated the savings. However, if I were ever to have another furbaby I would NEVER purchase from them again. Nor would I recommend a business who will gladly take your money but can't find it in their hearts to offer a word of condolence. Their lack of sensitivity is very disheartening.

I have been using Heartland Veterinary Supply and Pharmacy since 2019 and overall my experience has been good. They offer competitive prices on their products. I was just flipping through the catalog they mailed me and I was surprised at how cheap their e-collars are. I recently paid twice the price on Amazon for virtually the same item (what a rip off). I am going to start checking prices on HVS website (or catalog) before buying supplies and prescriptions elsewhere. I feel like overall the service is good. Disclaimer: I normally mail them a prescription since the vet I was using in Florida for years did not call in medications, but was always willing to write a paper script if I wanted to purchase medication someplace other than his clinic.

I always receive my order, but sometimes there’s a lag between them calling my vet. My fat is not always as fast as I would like him to respond back so sometimes I just have to be patient and wait for him to do a second time I can be annoying, but everything goes through and I can receive my order and stuff, I think they do good just had some time to be patient .

This place is usually a great business. Until it isn't. Not only was the receptionist discourteous, she told us to call back to talk to the manager in an hour. When we did that she informed us that management was gone for the day and won't be back till Monday.They messed up, now it'll be a week since they recieved the prescriptions for my elder pup with CHF. A week that it has sat there and not been sent. So it'll be another week before I get it. My dog depends on that medicine and for them to blatantly run me around knowing that it was urgent is just unacceptable.Thank you "Summer", for being as unhelpful as you possibly could be. Hope you have a great weekend. You made sure we won't.

Ordered liquid heart medication for my pet and after approximately 2 weeks the cap on the medication broke the directions faded off and the syringe broke. Loose product because bottle needs to be shaken twice a day. Called the customer service and was told they would send only send me a new bottle and syringe only. Waiting for the new bottle. First time I used this service and will be the last.

With every prescription I have filled, I ALWAYS have to call for several days to follow up to make sure the authorization from my vet has been received. There are always issues with either my vet not receiving the request for authorization or Heartland not receiving the authorization after my vet has sent it in. It is frustrating that that part of the process can't work efficiently. In all other areas the service and pricing are OUTSTANDING!
