We had the world's cutest and best waitress. She chit chatted. She made us belly laugh while trying to get us to add on things and have dessert just like a good waitress should. She was quick and efficient.We ordered the rib eyes which came medium. We ordered medium rare but they were ok. Our salads were fresh. The rolls were very warm. Baked potatoes hot and there was enough butter. Would do again!

My family and I were promptly seated and orders taken around 7:15. I was able to try the salad bar that came with the prime rib special. It was fine. We were only acknowledged once during the hour and a half we waited when the waitress took my water away for a refill and returned it with her hand on my straw. We were then ignored for over an hour before we finally left out of frustration and hunger around 8:45 without receiving any of our orders. After hearing so many great things this was easily the worst “dining” experience we have ever had.

Great little steakhouse in Hallam. Had the fried chicken, it was amazing. The waitress is high pressure sales on the pie & ice cream - but it was really good so I get it!One of my coworkers got the chicken fried steak sandwich... That looked a bit disappointing, especially since he asked for lettuce tomatoes etc and it was completely plain. I'm betting if you get it "furby" style (coated in gravy) it would have been much better.

Always a great experience here.In house made salads and dressing are to die for on their amazing salad bar.Heather, Tammy and Tara are the glue that hold the place together and keep me coming back. If you don't leave with a big smile on your face and a full belly then you should have went to McDonald's

Dining area appears very clean.Waitress was very lively and contributed to a positive atmosphere.Food is not the stereotypical Midwestern restaurant food in the sense that they actually had flavor.Very welcome relief.This place hands down is better than anything in my local town.

Dare I say I snuck in without a reservation? They took great care of us. Quick, funny and home town friendly. incredible steak, salad bar was awesome, pie for the ride home topped it. Great job 👍👍

Visited this place a bit out of the blue today. It IS worth leaving the highway for and their pork burger was delicious, and their beer prices are VERY reasonable. You're also in great company, everybody knows everyone's name and the staff so friendly to us! Thank you, Hallam!

You guys are BEYOND the sweetest ladies ! Thank you ISNT enough ! My husband is terminally ill, we have ordered food three times as they are so close and great food of course , I go in fully prepared to pay and each time Heather says Karen comped it ! Three times ! This is what a great community this is ! I feel so cared for and we sure feel the love ❤️! Thank you guys ! You make a happy cry during such a sad time for us !

Big treat to take my brother to the Hallam Steakhouse Saturday night. Always a favorite restaurant for my wife and I. I highly recommend the pork chop ribeye! New to area and a fabulous addition to the great overall menu.

Hallem Steakhouse was awesome as usual. It has been a while since I was able to get there for the soup and salad bar and I must admit I have missed it. We ordered the ribeye steak and it was perfectly seasoned with their marinade and perfectly seared and grilled. Best steak we’ve eaten out in a long time, so tender and delicious. Also loved the salad bar plus they offered homemade pie choices. We will go back soon.
