This was a nice lunch break in our travels. A mom & pop diner that serves a good cheeseburger. My sweetie made the comment that the burger was made for somebody that has a job! He was very full but happy after the meal. The owner said the people from neighboring areas are regular customers and that is how they are able to stay open even though they are in a small village. She gave us a big bag of carrots so carrot cake is in our near future. She says RVs are more than welcome to park at the truck parking lot next door (they own it also). If we come this way again, we will take a break here!

Their chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken is absolutely perfect!! The staff is always friendly! Don't forget to try the pie!!Once again today, great service and a great meal!!

Stopped in with a friend for lunch on our way back from Colorado. Great food and friendly service. Don’t forget to visit the town “jail” next to the café. I will stop every time I am through here.Parking: Plenty of room for big rig parking

There were 7 of us. We had breakfast and the food was wonderful. Homemade and very filling. We had the Biscuits and gravy which was homemade my husband had the westeren omelet and I had the chicken fried steak would highly recommend stopping in and having a bite to eat. The waitress was very nice and food arrived very quickly.

This place is a hidden treasure. Always friendly. The food reminds me of eating at my grandmother's house when I was a kid (my grandmother was a very good cook). Get a cinnamon roll if you want a special treat. They are huge and taste amazing. Highly recommend this place.

Ate twice here on a trip to Estes Park, both meals were outstanding. The country fried steak was the best Ive ever had! Great service friendly atmosphere. My wife is an excellent cook and she was impressed both times. A must stop cafe!

We are truck drivers and happened to come through the town on a run, food was excellent, service and atmosphere was outstanding. The syrup for the waffle was extremely tasty - home made! We would recommend this to any truck driver going through - prices reasonable and everything is awesome!!

A friend told me that they always stop at the Haigler Country Cafe when they go through town. So we tried it and the food was great the people were so nice and it was clean and cozy and just an overall good experience. The menu items are the pretty typical diner food but it wasn't greasy and it was very tasty and reasonably priced. My friend told me that the pie is great and she was right.

Best place to eat! Delicious home cooking. My husband took me here for Mother's Day and it is wonderful! Friendly folks, really down to earth. I would highly recommend the Haigler Cafe if you are passing through.

My husband travels through Haigler often and stops at this Cafe frequently. He recently had an issue and the owner not only made it right, went above and made sure he was happy and would come back again. They have great food and willing staff.

Ive driven thru Haigler a few thousand times and always wanted to stop in and try the place out and I'm happy i finally did. Absolutely loved this little ma and pop restaurant. Service was great and the food was even better. I will always stop by now when ever in the area. Quite the little gem of this small town. I shall return.

We discovered this little gem last year on our way back home from Colorado. This year, we made a stop for some of their delicious homemade pie on the way west and delayed lunch until we reached Haigler as we headed home. Their food is so good, the servers are friendly, and the owner herself welcomes you. We love this place. It's worth rerouting to enjoy the great food and down home feel at the Haigler Country Cafe.

We actually live across the Colorado state line in Wray. Don and I have traveled all across this beautiful country full time in our RV for the last 20 years. This restaurant is far and above the BEST we have ever found. It is very CLEAN, FRIENDLY, and the FOOD is OUTSTANDING!!! The chicken fried steak is actual steak with homemade breading; the hamburger buns are buttered and warmed on the griddle (like they all used to do) and NOT just put on a cold bun. The homemade cinnamon rolls are beyond a description. We have never eaten anything that wasn't very tasty! We are fortunate to live so close, but glad we don't live closer or we would be tempted to eat there all the time!! :)

Friendly and fun place to eat. Monday night was breakfast night in addition to regular menu. Had a hamburger steak with eggs and hashbrowns that was excellent. Colored a Christmas ornament while I waited and they hang them up in the cafe. Just got in some new chairs. Nice place.

Best food ever worth every penny, I stop in every chance I get , have not had one meal there yet that I didn't enjoy I've been going in there for 3 years now. I have never left hungry either, down home style cooking Barb and the other wait staff cooks local ect as friendly and caring as if you just walked into moms house. Love

Home made syrup, delicious cinnamon rolls, no GF options aside from omelets but the omelets are worth stopping for. 10/10 would recommend.Parking: Right at the front door.Kid-friendliness: We were given ornaments to color.

We stopped here this morning on our way home from Nebraska. Totally shocked by the prices for a small town café. Ordered the special of the day "Scrambler" with sausage. For $9.25 it was utterly disappointing and felt more like camping food to me. My wife had French toast with an egg and bacon for $8.00. Hers looked better but she said it was average at best. Portions kind of small for the prices. With the tip almost $29 for a meal we were both disappointed and probably worst we have ever had. Seemed like a locals hangout and that was the main attraction here.
