Two stars for the cook tonight at the Dennys did a good job on my order. But the rest of this truck stop has been a not too good experience lately. Pics will show for themselves of what I mean. Sadly, not all the wrong falls on the team here at this truck stop but they do play a major role in the up keeping of this truck stop. Sadly truck drivers are also to blame for many are down right pigs, one can only imagine how they keep their own truck clean. I’m sure that if truckers would do their part in not throwing trash or their urine bottles or cleaning the inside of the trailer out onto the parking lot we’d have a better parking experience and to where the team here at the truck stop wouldn’t mind cleaning the grounds especially the fuel bays which beware you can break your head by slipping on the slick bays for they haven’t been pressure washed in some time, but back to what I was saying, the store should be in better shape. Shame on management and shame to these certain truckers or other people that don’t care and making this truck stop a foul experience. Sadly as truckers we don’t have many options for good food or stops to relax for our breaks but this needs some serious attention. Place looks bad. You have some guys like tonight washing his feet in the sinks half naked. Others leaving their douche bottles in the stalls. This is just outrageous and most disgusting. The restroom smelled of urine as did my shower, not to mention that the towels smelled of mildew.

Discriminatory Experience at Flying J Gas Station in Gretna, Nebraska. Would give 0 Stars if I could. My husband recently had an unfortunate and distressing encounter at the Flying J gas station in Gretna, Nebraska, which compels me to share this cautionary review. As a consumer and a member of our community, it is crucial to highlight instances of injustice and discrimination that tarnish our experiences.This incident unfolded when my husband, a dedicated blue-collar worker, visited the Flying J gas station with his team, who were working on a project nearby. They were met with hostility and baseless accusations that left a lasting impact on him and our family.During their visit, my husband and his colleagues frequented the gas station for necessities and refreshments. Despite making purchases and adhering to all norms of conduct, he was unfairly singled out and accused of theft by the manager. This accusation was rooted solely in racial profiling, as my husband was the only tall Black man in his crew.The sequence of events that followed was nothing short of humiliating. The gas station's staff monitored my husband's every move, even as he paid for his food through the self-pay station, making his innocence apparent to anyone observing. Yet, these actions did not prevent them from reporting him to law enforcement.Subsequently, my husband was confronted by authorities at his job site, a significant distance away from the gas station. This public spectacle, initiated by Flying J's baseless report, not only undermined his dignity but also cast a shadow over his reputation as a responsible worker, a veteran, and a devoted family man.As a parent, my husband grapples with how to impart courage and resilience to our son in the face of such prejudice. How does one endure the erosion of self-worth caused by unwarranted suspicion and discrimination?In summary, our experience with Flying J in Gretna, Nebraska, was profoundly negative. This incident reflects poorly, not only on the establishment but also on the franchise as a whole, and raises concerns about their treatment of customers based on racial stereotypes. This is why I never stop here if I can avoid it. Not much hot food out and almost all the coffee/drink machines were out of stock or out of order. This was at 10am so it's not like it was an hour where they may be empty due to cleaning

Half the pumps don't work sometimes and the DEF is slower than Grandma climbing a hill with her walker. The Denny's is good. The showers are fine. I'm just annoyed with all the truck stops anymore. I get tired of the 3-hour wait for a shower.

I hate to leave a review but truck drivers beware, every time I show up at this location more of the fuel pumps are broken. The ones that do work are very slow. Need to use the restroom, great we have a roll of porta potties outside for the drivers. Want some coffee? Good luck the coffee pots are usually empty. Want some food from the restaurant? Took them an hour and a half to get me a salad to go. During that hour and a half, other people showed up and were seated, order their cooked food, received their food, ate their food, paid for their food, and left. I only ordered a salad Togo!

Stopped here for my rest break and a quick shower. Whoever cleans the showers does a fabulous job...mine was spotless (posted a video). The lot is a decent size, but you'll have people parking everywhere trying to squeeze in. The store is the same general layout of most other Flying J's, so finding stuff is simple. Our dog loved the abundance of nice grass out front, so going for a walk and stretching your legs is very doable.

Good morning, I had to speak on my first experience here at the this pilot. As I am usually a little nervous going to new area I know nothing about. My phone started acting up but the three male employees were so awesome last night. They made sure my phone got back right. I appreciate it so much being a lady/mother trucker. God bless the two young man at the counter and the other one back in the office. I'm so grateful for their humanity to make sure I was good 😭😢

It's nice if I can get inside to use the bathroom. Dark lot and every other driver just dumping waste right out their door. You can't even get to the door without stepping in something. Just no shame. Right up front so it's hard to work around. But thanks for leaving the dirty frozen sock for my puppy. I wouldn't have known what to do without the meat skewers and the sock to make my 10 degree walk more fun than ever. At least we didn't find the rat you were trying to feed the meat skewer to.

Wanted to park here for a 34-hour reset over the weekend but the place was just nasty. Turned around and kept on going to the Love's in Omaha which is just slightly better. Manager and regional manager and whoever else is responsible for this place should be ashamed.

This is the cleanest pilot I have ever been in hands down. The staff is awesome period. They actually care and are willing to do their jobs. I had paid for parking and their were some people who had not but were parked in the paid parking spots even after dark they came out and made them move. The shower was freaking awesome by itself super super super clean. On top of their game. Even if you aren’t a truck driver this is a great spot to stop

Nice clean showers which are huge and with two shower heads. The staff are friendly and the store is well stocked. I enjoyed my 34 hour reset here.

Under renovation? No showers and only Denny's side restroom open. Some dude burnt out starter 1st fuel Island no cone behind it to let people know. They did have a young one out there pressure washing the diesel islands. DEF pump lane 20 really slow not sure if I actually got 9 gallons of def or charged triple? Some fuel islands out of service.

They need help. No one to keep up with showers. 7 uncleaned showers at 4am. Nice lounge but offset by boxes of freight. Spent so much remodeling this place, take time to keep it that way

They said the laundry was broken and just locked it. But I don’t believe it, it can’t be that all the washing machines and dryers broke down at the same time. Thousands of drivers spend hundreds of dollars every day on diesel, they just can't fix their washing machine. This looks like disrespect for drivers😒

Hands down.... one of the best to stay at. Great Showers. Good food, better than most. If ever back this way. I will definitely be back. Our east coast pilots and flying Js need to step up their game bc this is what us drivers are worth. This was definitely worth the wait. They still remodeling some showers but hey, go to the east coast then tell me bad things about here lol some of the best facilities are near mid west and some others.

Parking lot is comfortable well put to fart easily on some spots but and already do that you got to go straight and then take a right. The service is very friendly and nice.

It's been awhile since I've seen a pilot this poorly maintained. Half the pumps are broken completely, the other half the keyboards don't work. This place is bad even for the already low pilot standard

Place was a wreck and all the creamer machines were out of product. It was an absolute train wreck around the coffee island area which is where I took the pictures at. Someone needs to contact the health department.

The store is dirty inside and out. This truckstop is under staffed. Several of the diesel fuel pumps aren't working on a regular basis. This place is poorly maintained. Corporate needs to step in.

Worst flying J ever! At 12:30pm they said they would not put out anymore food until everything they had was gone. There was 7 to 10 people trying to get food and everything was hours old and looked crusty. Dennys had a line out the door waiting. How are you not going to have fresh food for lunch and when several people are asking about when new food is coming out just say it’s not? I will never stop here again

This place is next to useless. No hot food, coffee is out of order, more than half of the truck bays for fuel are shut down, and the moment it gets cold outside Their entire DEF system goes down EVERY SINGLE DAM YEAR. And every time that you talk to them about it, you always get the same “ Tech guy should be coming later today” speech. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. You’ll save time in the long run.

I used to like going here, now the app isn't working at all. The pumps are so slow I could get a 30 min break trying to get 180 gallons. Only one person using the register while trying to help with the self serve registers and get food. Manager is a rude old lady who can't be bothered.

Probably more than half the reason people use truck stops is for restrooms and showers. Can't say I dared to take a shower here after seeing the fetid and grimy state of the restrooms, clearly attended by lazy and ill skilled individuals, overseen by none. Stench ridden and fecal splattered are two turns of phrase that come to mind.The only reason I didn't give one star was the Dennys and seemingly pleasant ladies behind the counter in the store.Stop for a meal, parking is decent, but I wouldn't overnight here.

This truck stop is dirty. Seriously... restroom, showers, parking lot. The main entrance is also dirty with fingerprints everywhere. I don't feel like eating here. I'm not getting fuel either. I rather drive another 40 miles instead.
