We took a 20 minute detour from our cross county road trip just to try this place — and we were not disappointed! The salads were well balanced, fresh, with great dressing (a real treat and break from road trip greasy fast meals). The star of the show was the butternut squash soup side - rich and full of flavor.However, my favorite part of this place was the hometown feel and how every person entering seemed to know each patron.

Cutest little bakery. We stopped in to check it out on a whim & will be back for more. We tried the smoothies & cookies (both divine!) this time and look forward to coming back for an ultimate grilled cheese soon. Very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Mennonite owned and ran.

I just finished my breakfast & decided I needed to leave a review! I’m always a little leery of how bacon is cooked at different places but when I have my choice of meat I always choose it because that’s what I love. But I am a little picky about it! This bacon was done perfectly!! Exact how I like it. I absolutely loved the toast....and you’ll not go wrong with the hash brown’s!! :)

A LITTLE TREASURE HERE AT "The Little Bluestem" what a delightful eatery!! This my friends is the amazing southwest chicken grilled and I'm here to tell you my taste buds will never be the same. Besides the home made fresh food, the owner and staff are wonderful, kind and talented. Thank you....oh yah try the lemonade with coconut flavor it is delicious 😋 😊

The smothered breakfast burrito had a really lovely spicy sauce…not too spicy. The coffee was roasted perfectly. And the portion of the breakfast plate was just right.

Just had a honey vanilla latte here and it was spot on! Excellent salads, sandwiches and gourmet burgers. Stop in for a cool vibe and awesome service. THIS is what small town America is all about!
