Awesome store with awesome customer service. I would like to acknowledge Drew for his awesome customer service. Today I was looking for a specific type and size of handgun. They were really busy at the gun counter, but this did not slow him down. He was juggling 3 customers at the same time as well as being very professional and respectful. He has great knowledge and helped me find something that exactly fit my needs. He also offered to go out of his way to make sure that I will receive a brand new one instead of the one in the show case. I really appreciated this and all of the friendly service we receive every time we come in. My family and I shop here a lot. We are always greeted as we walk in. I highly recommend shopping at this location.

Horrible experience! They've canceled my transaction three times. I was assured after the first two times the issue was resolved and wouldn't happen again. Each time I have to wait for gift card to be credited back. No one can tell me why it keeps rejecting. I highly recommend shopping with different company. If you have problem, you can't count on their customer service to resolve.

Online says they're open until 9 o'clock. Made a special trip there and on the door it's posted 8 o'clock every day. They need to adjust their online closing hours. So people dont waste their time.

I wanna start by saying that the people are always nice. The place is clean and the selection is alright. But. DO NOT try and sell them a gun. I have been here seven times trying to sell them the same gun. It doesn’t matter if you call ahead and they say it’s okay, it doesn’t matter if you come in on the day that they tell you in person to come, they will not be able to take it that day because they’re ‘short on staff.’ on top of that, every manager seems to have different rules on how to bring in the gun, which seems frankly unsafe.

Would give a Zero if I could. Tried buying a gun set the gun on the counter in front of staff and they looked at me like I’m stupid and continued their conversation as if I wasn’t there. On top of that everyone is a douche bag and doesn’t seem to want you there to shop. This has happened to me several times here. You’re better off driving to Kearny than going to this place to buy guns.

Hahaha. Unreal the SW responds to reviews, because nothing actually happens. Been into the Grand Island location twice and both experiences were the same: lazy, inattentive staff. Obviously an image of management, judging by other reviews.A little BACKGROUND on my experiences with SW: I retired to Nebraska from Nevada, where I had similar experiences at their Reno and Carson City stores. The weird thing is, their Las Vegas store in the Centennial area, was the only one that was helpful with in-store items and ordering what I needed. Maybe SW should send all their staff to that location, for a comprehensive training course in customer service.My suggestion to perspective customers: go to Scheels, Cabelas or (yuck) even Bass Pro. Don't waste your time with the Grand Island SW location. Once time is lost, it can't be renewed.

Great store! Really fantastic selection of gear, no bigger than they are. Seems like they have a higher volume of good stuff than Bass Pro or Cabela's who are stuffed full of their house brand garbage.Two stars removed because the middle-aged shorter dude with facial hair who works the guns acts like he hates life and his job, and his attitude towards customers says as much. If you go, avoid him if you can. Strange someone like that works retail.

Stores alright when they have something in. But just getting the binocular case open literally took 30 minutes finding “help” like dude ya got 3 employees walking around doing nothing and another walking around texting on their phone. How can it possibly take this long to unlock a case… big L when it comes to staff

They have a wide variety of outdoor equipment and cover a fast range of items.The item we were shopping for was there 2 days previous. I spoke with the sales staff asking if they had more than one item in stock. They assured me they had several in the back room. We went back 2 days later, after bringing the muscle and bigger vehicle to bring this item home.We walk over to that specific place the item was at 2 days previous and it was gone. The staff now had no clue how or when they sold out OR when or IF they'd be getting this item back in stock.We ended up having to go to another store to make our purchase. We found a similar item for $200 cheaper and they were almost identical in every way except the brand.Wish we could have given them our business but maybe next time.

Walked around the store for 20 minutes and couldn't find any employees to ask for help. Went to front desk and asked for someone to come over to the fish finder aisle as I had one that I would like to buy. I ended up standing there for another 20 minutes and then walked back to the front counter, where 3 employees were holding up the counter talking so i told them I am leaving and will be ordering online. Horrible experience!

Wish I could give zero stars. Order an item that only is available in 1 store. The store I placed order with. Get order number, check status and order doesn't exist. Call and try to inquire and they have no idea and are of zero help. Tell me to call corporate because it's not they're problem. The only store that had the item in all of the network and somehow they aren't responsible. Last time I give them a dime.You're better off literly going anywhere else.

They claim they will price match and waste your time only to tell you they can’t price match even though it clearly states on their website that they will!! Not very impressed with how they try to talk you out of the product you are wanting and trying to sell you something that is twice the price. Probably will not be going back anytime soon.

Awful customer service if I could give them 0 stars I would. I purchased a $90 chair online and they packaged and shipped it in what appeared to be a black trash bag. The bag was tore and the chair had a huge tear in the corner. I contacted them 4 times and they told me they would email me after they spoke to their supervisor. They didn't do that. I will never purchase from this company again.

I've always enjoyed shopping at SW, always hoped they would open a store in Nebraska and here it is not 10 minutes from where I work and 5 minutes from Hornady MFG. Grand opening was 3 days with great sales and deep stock, shelves were rarely bare, except for ammo, but they had more than many other stores. Pretty solid selection, reasonable prices, order online and pick up in person, friendly and very helpful staff and easy to navigate.and move around in the store. Check it out.

The Gun section was unstaffed. I spent 5 hours in this store. They somehow had a problem with my online purchase. When I got to the store it was different in their computer and then had to wait for IT problems. After the first 2 hours they apologized and said they would help with a discount, That seemed to put me at ease but then when I asked for them to mount on the scope it took longer. Wouldn't have been there so long if they would have had the right Tech put on the scope correctly. They put the scope mount on backwards. Needless to say I'm never coming back here.

so far this sounds like others who order a gun online and ship it to the store. still hasnt shown up and yes they dont have any kind of tracking so nobody can say about where its at. Its been in transit now for 9 days. what is it coming on a slow boat. Not to happy. Next time I will definetly just go to a different gun store that actually just has it even if I have to pay more. Not to optimistic that the gun is actually gonna show up any time soon. And also like a few others when ive called the store to see if maybe its shown up and I just havnt gotten the email yet they are kind of rude like im bothering them. I use to like this store but anymore Im gonna start shopping somewheres else.

Availability on a lot of very common items is not good. And in a lot of departments people do not know their area very well. I'll give you an example I was in there last week and I ask a person that was in the fishing department if they had any tip ups. This person had no idea what a tip up even was. I had high hopes for this store but I'm starting to worry that they're just hiring anybody they can rather than training their people to know their products and what they do

Worst service ever....if you can even call it that. Attempted to purchase a rifle. Purchased online then qent to pick up and they refused to give it to us. There was much discussion about it and when asked to talk to a manager the gun manager got very rude and asked us to leave the store. She began threatening to call the police if we did not leave when i began speaking to her as she was to me. ( demeaning and rude)Did end up discussing with store manager. He was ok on the phone stating he didnt know why they wouldnt sell us the gun either. but sthen told me after speaking to the employee, stated the store employees " were not comfortable selling us the gun" even though he stated it as ok. They do NOT stand by their word. We will never do any purchasing from them. If 0 stars was an option that is what they would get.
