Have not been to menards in a longtime.There so greedy. The 11%off is a joke. Unless you plan on spending a couple hundred dollars. Giving the 11% off for and item that it less than a dollar You spend 10 to 20 dollars.By the time the process the rebate and get it back to you, they have paid somebody that much just for paper work.That is what I call greed. Anybody else agree

Best retail experience in months. Looking a for a certain Christmas tree and couldn’t find it. Asked an associate and rather than looking at the empty spot where the tree was supposed to be and telling me they were gone, he went and actually FOUND IT!! Fernando was polite and helpful. Will return to shop here. I had excellent customer service today.

Went to store to purchase a new stove and microwave. Found someone to help she told us this other person would be able to help us. The sale person was very rude also yelled at her coworker. For this reason we left and went to Home Depot. The sale was almost 2000.00

PSA to all Grand Island Menards shoppers - steer clear of the appliances!!! Whirlpool has bought out Amana, Maytag, Kitchen Aide, Hotpoint & JennAir. Once you purchase any brand other than Criterion, you’re at the mercy of Whirlpool’s warranty program after a week. There is one - I repeat, ONE - contracted warranty repair person in the entire area, and he’s an absolute joke. We’ve bought several mid-grade Whirlpool-owned appliances at Menards; it’s all cheap junk & we can never seem to get warranty repair work done. I highly suggest you shop for major appliances elsewhere. Ken’s sells non-Whirlpool-owned brands & has in-store parts & service.Customer service at this store has (for the most part) been willing to work with us (begrudgingly), but I feel it’s only right that if Menards is selling these brands & washing their hands of the matter after seven days, they need to be more aware of the local warranty situation & possibly be in contact with Whirlpool to contract a larger, more reputable local company to complete warranty repairs.

I was Looking for model trains in menards yesterday and a lady told me it’s upstairs she help me to find the trains upstairs and I found it !!! I picked up a bachmann train set called the cascade flyer train set from menards it was very nice to get a model train set I didn’t know that they sell trains too at menards great customer service and it’s was clean I highly recommended to everyone to check out the model trains at menardsFive stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My go to for about everything, cheapest milk in town, clumping cat litter, and you know that they sell building supplies too?! 😂 ...but you have to watch what you buy in that area, their cheapest stuff is of low quality and doesn't last. I recommend their middle line stuff, it's affordable and decent quality.

Great place. Was in there today. An employee in hardware helped me load a tool chest. Even told me it was clearance price. Had a nice employee help me load it into my truck. Great employees, very friendly and helpful. Thank you both.

Went looking for 3-way bulbs.....yeah....hell no!! Why pay $8.99 for one damn bulb?? Just got reg 60w bulb, 10 pk for $11.99. And why are the 3-way not sold in multi-packs instead only one bulb?? Cheaper with plain bulbs, or buy a new lamp.

Store itself is great. Trying to get help loading from a forklift driver is another story. To bad management won't go and do something about them hiding in the shade on their phones instead of the job they was hired for. Feel bad for the truckers like the one that was waiting forever before any of them even slowly inched over to them.

Menards has about everything in stock and about everything you went looking for. On that note you are going to pay a little more strictly for convenience. They offer 11% off on everything in the store but if you want to cash in on this deal don't throw your receipt away and don't forget to stop by the front desk to get your rebate slips. I am although, very disgusted that such a HUGE store only has ONE motorized cart for the elderly and disabled folks, causing a lengthy wait until the ONE cart is free to use and there are no chairs anywhere to sit and wait. The help there from employees is like a circus to chase one down. At the checkout don't feel rushed to get out of there and bag your stuff but they sure do shove the next customer right through so you are practically on top of one another. Would be beneficial to open up more lanes so you are not in the next customers business.

Well stocked, clean, fair prices, good selection. Friendly employees in most departments. Paint staff, electrical staff, seasonal, tools, hardware and building pros all are friendly and helpful. The cashiers and returns staff are another story! Wear your mask or they'll just about call the police! Parking is a pain and parking lot leaves much to be desired. They do rebates with in store credit discounts and do not offer military discounts like the other 'big box' home improvement stores. They do have a large selection and they carry a good variety in all departments.

Surprisingly, I go here more often for Sprecher beverages, coffee, Famous Dave's sauces and snacks than anything else. I find that if an item is on an end cap, you likely won't find it where it normally would or should be. I've also had more than 60/40 luck with not being able to flag down an associate or, if I do find someone not on the phone or stocking, I am pointed to the item I'm looking for rather than being taken. I'm okay with being taken to the person in that department for help, but that doesn't happen often. All that said, there is always stock of items and few empty shelves, so you'll likely find what you're after if you have time to meander or you've been there enough to know the layout.

I had a return for a damaged in box item. Customer service was very good and I was able to get help both loading and unloading the unit. Reason for only 3 stars is that I got a damaged piece to begin with.

The new remodel has us relearning the entire store which is okay, but took forever to get anyone to help us get the wood ordered that we needed as four different people looked at us and walked away, then to the carpet area stood there for half an hour my husband had someone paged. When the young man finally got to us he was not happy about having to help us and voiced it to us. Asked him for the carpet which there wasn't enough, no big deal, but instead of asking is if there was any other we would like, he walked away and helped someone else without saying a word. Finally after an hour and a half we got our stuff, went to the gates which was the easiest part of the process. Then when we got into the shed there was no one there except a guest who was calling the store to get some help. He then helped us load our flooring board, when we left he was still waiting for some one to bring a forklift to help him.

The store itself is just fine if you are only going in and carrying out. If you have to go around back to be loaded or get assistance you will be there for an hour minimum. it will take them that long to figure out that hey we're out of stock on that item it'll be here in a week and a half.

I've been shopping here many times. Helpful staff when you can find them, who, 9 out of 10 times refer you to someone who will know what you're looking for. Prices range of from under priced to grossly over priced depending on what you're buying. Their lumber is frequently out of shape.

Could not find the sandpaper anywhere in the store. Then I go to the restroom before I check out and realized they stock the bathrooms with it. Would highly recommend avoiding these bathrooms at any cost.

Jane L. Needs a serious promotion and pay raise. I had two people (one was even a manager) tell me they don't have what I wanted and that ineeded to drive an hour to Lincoln. She went right to it and was very helpful with everything else we needed. She's the best customer service person I've ever seen in this store! If you lose her, you lose my business. Period.

Great store. But customer service is horrible. Went and bought stove piping. Cashier told me the price after ringing it all up. Wrote the check for the amount she told me. Next day find out an extra $100 was taken out from what I wrote check for. Looked at receipt and it was $100 more than what I wrote check for. They have been rude about the entire ordeal. Not a huge deal but they are trying to say it doesn't matter what I wrote my check for it only matters what the amount was on their computer. So everyone be advised when writing a check at Menards and make sure everything is right. Check receipt as soon as you get it.

I'm tired of there mail in rebate I always miss the rebate because I'm not done with my project when done and mailed in didn't get my biggest one because missed by few days!!! I will go to Home Depot where you get sale prices and no messing with mail in rebate!!! They hope for this so they don't have to pay you!!!

Love Menards we tend to spend way too much time in there than we planned. But we had a great sales associate Jamie, who helped us in the paint section. When we needed stain for our mantel. He was knowledgeable and friendly he took his time and made real suggestions that fit our needs. We appreciated the fact that he actually listened to us and didn't act like we were bothering him which was incredibly refreshing. Thank you Jamie you're the best and a great example of why we choose Menards as our go to store.
