I brought my dog in on an emergency call and the staff was amazing. Kaos ended up needing surgery and the vet did an amazing job. They made sure all of my questions were answered. I’m so thankful that my boy is ok and doing great. I highly recommend them!!

I do really love this clinic…honestly i highly recommend it…my dog passed away and we received all the support and medical attention possible. I don’t have nothing but good things to say…thanks to all the personnel…im really proud to be part of the family pet clinic!!!!

The people working here are extremely caring and, in my experience, went above and beyond then what was needed, and i am eternally grateful for it. Dr.Anderson is an amazing veterinarian and personally saw to my cats pre operation care by taking him home with him to make sure he would be well enough for his surgery. I will not guarantee that he will do this with all pets, but the fact that he did this is more than likely the reason my cat lucky survived his injuries. i will from here on out, only go here for all current and future care and send all my friends and family here. The level of care in all the employees' hearts is visible to anybody who walks in. They care deeply about all animals that come in through their doors and are dedicated to seeing that they get the best care that they can provide. Thank you to all of the employees who work here for all that you do, and i can not express how grateful i am for all the hard work that you provide keep doing what you are doing!

Have used their facilities for my 4 fluffs for years, started with grooming services (Deb Schmidt) who not only does a phenomenal job but apparently treats my fur kids well as they have NO problems going there for their spa day.But in the past I Experienced some struggles with the length of time it took to locate and pay my bill and get my kids home.March 13 when I picked my pups up from grooming I was pleasantly surprised with prompt, efficient and orderly attention from Teresa and Katie. They had pups supplies and bill ready and waiting for me. I was out of there quickly lessening the stress on me, my dogs and the other pets in the clinic.Then to top off the day ——I was told Dr. Anderson (the fluffs vet) is new owner of the clinic and there to stay.GREAT NEWS!

They very respectfully took care of my little Bries cremation. Placed her in a beautiful sealed box, and even made a pawprint from her paw for me. They are very good people.

Went with my sister and her dog who she said may needed to be put down. The vet spent a lot of time with her and examined the dog thoroughly and consulted her chart. Went over several options and explained pros and cons which resulted in a little better outcome. Staff helped us get dog back to car as she was too weak to walk and too heavy for my sister to carry.

I had both my female cats spayed here, and when I picked them up they both reaked of cat urine, they were very dirty, and both of my cats spay incisions ended up being infected just days after surgery. I am now switching vets, and spending money for after care due to the infection. I did everything I was told to do, kept the cones on, no physical activity. And they both ended up wth very bad infections.

Family Pet Clinic has taken care of all our dogs over the years. They know the dogs personally and handle them with love. We board our dogs there knowing they are safe and if necessary there is medical personnel to take care of them. All staff are so friendly and caring. We also use the grooming services offered. I do highly recommend this clinic.

Since I ever moved to Grand Island for the last 3 years and travel back and forth to Hastings and other states for jobs, I went here vs all the way back in Hastings where even all my doctors and other visits still at the hometown. Apparently, my gut felt so trusted for them I went here and not batted an eyelash.First time was helping a stray cat we took in and got her fixed up. She is now in a better place with a new family. I would bring my rememberable Shiba Inu who takes boarding here, all her grooming, additional updated care since I gave up on Petco and Petsmart not treating a senior and a difficult breed well, but even at a boarding place locally, they absued her... Again Shiba Inus are not for everyone. My Shiba Inu is missed gendered all the time when it is a she, that does weird quirks things like male dogs Shiba Inu, stubborn, does what they want, and of course this one absolutely hates or challenge other dogs to behave or get put down. Otherwise, she is the only dog known that loves going to Vet without a struggle. She seem to love everyone at the Vet to knowledge. My last addional would be a cat I adopted in Texas that need attention soon, of course, I will be sure to come back and get all that care when jobs don't keep pulling me!!Aside the important details of treatment, care, emergancies, and they take CareCredit... I highly recommend!! It is sad I will be moving away after so long. I'd still will travel back and get updates if in the area!Thank you for reading folks.

It's a good place to entrust your beloved pets health care. The staff, nurses (?) & doctors are friendly & efficient. They also send us a monthly news magazine with tips, stories & our Cunka's next appt. With info on which shots,etc are due. That's very handy! Recommend for sure!!

I have a small cat rescue, and have used 4 different vets in Grand Island over the years, but Dr. Kimbrough seems to me to be, by far the most experienced and knowledgable veterinarian in town. He is a master at diagnosing and treating small animals. His skills at surgery are unmatched in the Grand Island area. Renee, Theresa, Shirley and all the staff are wonderful, compassionate and super friendly. Can't say enough good things about this veterinary practice! Family Pet Clinic is fantastic.

My service dog is my kid. No other way to explain it. I live alone with being disabled and having a serious medical condition. Her health and well-being are everything. Everytime I bring my dog in all the staff know him by name. My dog rarely has to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. Vet is knowledgable and caring with my little guy. Pricing is more than fair. I recommend this pet clinic to everyone.

I would never recommend bringing your animal here to be groomed. I walked in on the groomer yelling and brushing my Pomeranian extremely violent. She saw me and was very startled, we had a few unkind words exchanged. I took my fur baby and left ASAP. What a aweful experience. I, to this day get very upset thinking about it that’s why I had to write this review when I noticed the same groomer is still there. I’ll be nice and not mention her name... Don’t be fooled by her outside impression. Poor innocent animals shouldn’t be treated in such a manner. Such a sad disappointment.

I used them once to do hips on some of my breeding dogs. Said i would have results in 7 to 10 days...took over a month!!! Then when I got the results none of the info was right including The pet owner name!! none of the dogs birthdays registration or microchip info was filled out as it must be done to insure results are not switched! I then had to call in over 5 times and the problem still has not been fixed!! DO NOT GO HERE!!

OUR CAT WAS SENT HOME AND ALMOST DIED!We brought our cat in when he was sick. The owner from Oklahoma is the one who saw him and he didn't even touch him and knew that he was having a hard time peeing and his bladder was swollen. He sent us home and 5 hours later our cat was at home dying. We had to then take him to Hastings for an emergency visit. The next day we asked for our visit to be waved since he didn't do anything and sent us home where our cat almost died! But he refused saying our cat was seen and he did his best without having to sedate.... Obviously he didn't do his best since our cat almost died. SWITCHING VETS IMMEDIATELY!

Vet dosent like pitbulls, told me to control my dogs then proceeds to tell another nurse behind closed doors that he needed help with these “type of dogs”. My dogs were not aggressive at all. They where just very hyper, cause of a new place. I left & went to a different place for vaccines

Very disapointed and more then slightly angry. Took my dog in for bladder stones blocking urethra, he was already in pain , made him sit for almost 3 hours before looking at him to take xrays that any of the techs could have done then 30 min sitting again to tell me ,and i quote, "i dont feel comfortable doing the surgery" she would only referr me to a place in lincoln or kansas , knowing that he wouldnt have made the trip. Thanks for nothing and i will warn every person i know to find a vet that cares about the animal and is willing to try and save them.

Dr. Kimbrough truly saved our family's dog. Our Aussie had gotten into rat poison, unbeknownst to us. The doctor was able to diagnose it immediately and his instructions, thankfully, were the answer to our prayers and saved her life.
