My husband and I came in to check out bikes. Picked out a couple bikes and were told they could be assembled the next day. I was called the next day to confirm what size bike my husband needed as it was not written down. They also had not written down that we wanted kickstands added and slime in the tires. I again asked if the bikes would be done by the afternoon as we were traveling from an hour and a half away. I was told yes they would be done. We arrived at the store at 7pm and and employee told us, "Willy was supposed to call you." We find out my bike was not even in the store. We were told inventory showed two of them in stock but they couldn't find them anywhere in the store. We asked if we could at least take my husband's bike and come back for mine at a later date. They told us my husband's bike was only half assembled. We had told them the previous day we were driving from out of town. Very frustrated that we didn't receive a phone call and wasted a trip for nothing. Management, while sympathetic, made excuses for their lack of communication. There seemed to be a breakdown in communication between not only the store to their customers but between management and employees as they also did not write down specifics we had asked them to put on our bikes (kickstands, correct size, slime in the tires) and didn't know who was working/responsible for assembly that day. Management offered to throw in the kickstands for free but they were just a drop in the bucket for how much we would have been spending, so my husband and I decided to take our business elsewhere.

Randy in the shoe department was a God send today. We were having issues finding indoor and outdoor cleats for my son and he was very helpful. I had to bother him 3 times and each time he was more than happy to help, and found exactly what we were looking for. I will definitely be returning to this store.

The man who fixes the bikes at the store is AMAZING!! He went above and beyond to make sure our bike was not only fixed but made sure it was safe for my daughter. We just bought the bike and only had it for two weeks when We took it to get both the front and back tire tubes replaced cause they were flat. When we picked it up it wasn’t quick put back together properly. The man wasn’t the one who fixed the tires so when he got our bike to us he noticed the tire wasn’t right. He stopped what he was working on and took the time to correct it for us right away. Not only did he do that but he did an overall check of the bike for us and corrected a few other things that needed attention. I really appreciated how he made sure we were taken care of. He was amazing!

Fantastic company. Associates at Store in GI, NE are all friendly. They are eager to help, management is always in store for Assistance, store is clean, and easy checkout process. I don’t say this just because employee, but because even prior to employment I’ve had nothing but excellent experiences. My family would all agree to this as well.

Very friendly and very helpful staff. I was able to get in and out right away. The only thing I wish would be that they have a more variety in sizes. they had very few things in extra large or higher sizes when it came to exercise clothing, walking shorts, etc. I would also give them an A+ for cleanliness, staff wearing masks, and having the 6-ft apart distance reminders and marked on the floor,.

I went in for youth mouth guards and was lucky enough to find a package. There's 4 separate places that mouth guards are though, so that was pretty unideal. Organization was 7/10, staff presence on the floor was low but not surprising in this location (plenty of businesses are understaffed), the staff that are there (at the registers) were friendly and efficient.

I have always enjoyed going to the store, but during these time I can’t do that. I have done their curbside pickup and it worked wonderfully. I have also continued to order online and they are doing a great job of offering specials on items to keep their company selling items during these time. Great store.

The staff here is top notch. The customer service reminds me of the small town I grew up in. This place knows how to run a retail store. It seemed like there was someone to help me every where I went. Amazing selection and experienced staff make this place by far the best in the area.

The camping section has been simplified down to about 12 linear feet of supplies. So no selection. Sports gear is plenty, and athletic wear in high quantities, just wouldn't recommend for camping supplies. Didnt even have any hammocks! (Although they had one on display...)

Best place for athletic gear and equipment in the area. They carry a wide selection of clothing, shoes and sporting goods for Men, women and kids. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. If they don't carry it they will order it for you.

When the store first opened it was great, carried all the items I needed for deer hunting, but I was very disappointed with the quality of work done when they mounted a scope to my rifle. 3 out of 6 screws were not even tightened at all, the scope needed 250 clicks to get it centered on the barrel. The crosshairs were not square they were tilted majorly, and the guy said he couldn't bore sight the rifle because he didn't have a tool to do it. It's quite obvious that they shouldn't even offer this service. I couldn't even hit the target at ten feet because the scope was so off

Went there to buy a kyack the guy working in sporting goods had 0% interest in helping me or answering any questions. The shelves were pretty bare so probably going out of business anyway. But not surprising with that kind of customer service.

Extremely disappointed!!! I ordered an elliptical on March 14, 2019. On the website, it says that orders are usually shipped and are received in 3 days. Now being a large shipment I didn’t think that this was realistic and sure enough, after finalizing the order, they said it would be 7 business days. The package would be delivered by a freight company. Once the freight company had the package, they would contact me to set up a delivery date and time. After 3 days I received an email stating that the order had been shipped with a tracking number and the estimated delivery date was March 27, 2019. As the delivery date grew closer and not hearing anything about the package, I went to the email to track my order. Upon entering the tracking number, it sent me to the AIT website (the shipping company DICK’S was using to deliver to me) and it showed that the tracking number was invalid. I found this concerning and not hearing anything from DICK’S or the shipping company to set up a delivery appointment, I began to worry about it. I decided to online chat with a rep of DICK’S the evening I was supposed to receive my order. I was told that the package was shipped and that it was the shipping company that I needed to contact. The rep gave me an 800 number for AIT shipping company to call to rectify the situation. I called the number I was given which took me to a guy in Salt Lake City who had no idea what I was talking about. At this point I was starting to worry that I was about to be screwed out of over $1000.00. The guy from AIT gave me another number to call for their corporate office. So I called that number. After talking to the customer service rep from AIT, I was told that the tracking number I had been given them from the email DICK’S sent me was not a valid tracking number of theirs and that they had no documentation of a package that was being shipped from DICK’S Sporting Goods at all and no packages being sent to my address. It was recommended that I contact DICK’S again because it’s a problem on DICK’S end. After talking to another DICK’S representative, being put on hold while he spoke to his supervisor, it was determined that it was a completely different shipping company that they had used to ship my order. The rep gave me another 800 number for the shipping company that they had actually shipped my order through. So I called that number. I spoke with a guy there that told me that the package was sitting on the dock waiting for an appointment time to setup to deliver, but DICK’S had sent them the wrong phone number to contact. I gave him my correct phone number and set up a 4 hour window for them to deliver it to my home. At 4:45pm today, 15 minutes after the latest time that they were supposed to deliver and not receiving any communication from them, I decided to call the shipping company back to figure out what was going on. I spoke with a lady who told me that the delivery driver could not find my address and when they tried to call it was a wrong phone number. So I had her tell me the number that they had on file and supposedly called. Guess what, it was actually the correct phone number and they just didn’t call me. However, the delivery driver had already left the town I live in and would not be back until Monday April 1st, 2019 between 12-3PM at the earliest. This does not work because I work out of town and am not available during those hours. I took 4 hours off of work today so that they could deliver to me. I realize that DICK’S Sporting Goods as well as their shipping companies are to blame for the incompetence, but DICK’S is whom I am the customer of and who will most likely lose all of my business. Oh and did I mention that they charged my credit card almost a week ago and I still don’t have my elliptical I ordered. Hopefully I get it soon or I’m canceling and taking my business somewhere else!

One of the best sporting goods stores to date! I go here for my fishing gear, kayak gear and anything outdoors! If your looking for some running shoes, golf clubs or maybe just a couple of fishing poles. This is the place to hit up. If they don't have it in store, one of the kind employees will be gladly to walk you through the order process in store to make sure you get exactly what you need. And don't worry about picking up in store, it can be shipped right to you.

Associates are always too busy to help and snotty when we ask (everytime we go in). Also we have been waiting 2 months for them to get more of one item that they "say" they keep stocked. When we ask when they eill get more they always say "next week" and that never happens. Ridiculous!

Huge selection of baseball gear with minimal selection for softball. They even had bins of individual baseballs available but only cases of softballs. And before anyone says "supply and demand" there was another family in at the same time with the same problem and the cashier shared a similar experience the week prior. Discrimination...no other words for it.
