The Food Cupboard has been a mainstay for finding fun and different foods at a really cheap price. I'd recommend making sure you understand what "best by" dates does and doesn't mean for different food groups. Always different, and its become like a little treasure hunt everytime I visit. Don't expect the place to look fancy, but the help is awesome. (I'd also say, remember that money is best spent on things that hold or increase in value, and food is not one of those, so why would you be so against place like the food cupboard that sells discount groceries? It really is a wise place to get some food.) Check them out!

I love all the deals I find here. They get a lot of organic foods, and gourmet items that don't sell at regular price at the other stores, so I can actually afford them now. It's fun to scan through the isles to discover interesting brands that aren't usually sold in this area. And as said by all, the staff is great, so helpful and friendly!

Love going on to see if there are any pet food specials and eastern grocery gourmet items. The help is always great. This is a store that buys out closing stores and things that are still useable and edible. I've only had one problem buying a cake mix and there were bugs in the flour. That's not something they could control, but it might be a good idea to open the box and see if it's flour bug free. John and Dawn are great store owners.

I know that times are tough on everyone now. If you put out you mind it's a "discount" grocery you may be surprised what you find. I've been shopping there since the opened. The staff is super friendly and the store is organized. Name brands, they have them there. Remember look with your eye on saving not the lack of piped in music and pristine packaging. I believe they even take EBT.

Bought a couple of things and all of them were expired. I get the discount part but to the point of selling expired items, that’s a bit too much.

Not that big of a place, but they make the most of the room they got. Great deals on food that is nearly expired or a little over. If that kind of stuff won't bother you then this is the place for you.

It's a neat little store I kind of refer to it as the snack store because I find plenty of snacks there for my kids but they do carry more than just snacks

Place where you can buy discounted food that are dented crushed or open but are still good to sell and some dairy,eggs and dog and cat food.there are a lot of non food items as well.
