JULIE, the manager at the store is a RACIST and a SORRY EXCUSE OF A MANAGER. My mom bought two jeans for my dad (different size Incase the first didn’t fit) a couple days ago and they return to the store to change the jean that didn’t fit. First they said the jean serial number was not in the system then they said that it was probably stolen or were lucky to get it for free because the jean did not appear in their system. My Parents came back home very insulted and unhappy and I checked the jeans skew and receipt and surely the 2 jeans show up on the receipt but with the same serial number TWICE. This is clearly a mistake by the store. Meanwhile, at the store they were mistreated and profiled for being Latino, said she didn’t understand them bc of the language barrier. She tried provoking them saying that they are liars and saying that my parent were the ones at fault for not review their receipt. At the point my parents just wanted the receipt back and wanted to leave but she decide to not hand them their receipt back till she had completly finished insulting and saying what she wanted. Her intention were to preovoke my parents in order to call the cops and have a better reason to kick them out. When my dad said he did not want to hear anymore o her insults and just wanted to leave with his receipt JULIE the “manager” said “I do not want to see your save again in my store” this was her response for a customer simply asking for a a refund on an item with a receipt. Dead beat people like JULIE do not deserve to have that type of position, terrible customer service and blames their own mistake and their employees’ on their buying customers. Be careful with this sorry excuse of a MANAGER, she does not understand reason, and she seems to not have supervision or performance reviews by any superior. Guess Burlington must be performing very poorly to have to put a useless and rude person as a their store manager. Hopefully she gets what’s coming to her because people that don’t have any respect for others never get far in life.

Messy store, I've never seen a store this bad. Every part had items all over the floor. But I also know that the shoppers need to not trash the place up and put stuff back on the shelves if they aren't buying it.

3 employees, only one checking out, thank goodness two of them had time to sort hangers while the line went all around the checkouts to the bathroom wall, and beyond. I have all the patience in the world if it is due to lack of employees but seeing this misuse of employee time was absolutely ridiculous! Won't even go into detail about the mess of a store.

Both my wife and I love Burlington. Back home in Nevada, you couldn't keep me out of one. Upon retiring to Nebraska to restore an old house, we were/are happy to have one nearby in Grand Island. However, I am constantly hanging stuff up that is left on the floors, so that we can proceed with our shopping. Seems to be always disorganized.Your staff here are truly amazing. Always friendly and ready to assist. I am truly annoyed at the disorganization. Granted, this issue is created by customer's who obviously are either too lazy to re-hang items they have looked at, or just have no upbringing. Regardless, maybe staff could do some due diligence and once an hour, 'police' the aisles.Again, your staff is awesome and I highly doubt my issue is from laziness on their part, but probably from not enough people and time in the day. Maybe afford some sort of time frame throughout the day, so this can be accomplished.

Good deals on name brand stuff. First time there clothes were all over the floor in the entire store. Been back a handful of times since and it appears they have more staff and hasn't been that way since.

Lots of great prices they do though need more cashiers waited in line that seemed for ever but a great place to shop for name brand items very cool

The prices of clothes and other housewares are amazing, yes, we are very much aware that the store is a mess, and yes, the staff are very much doing everything in their power to clean it up. The employees aren't at fault for the amount of products on the ground, it's sincerely all the customer's doing. It's almost impossible to pick up all the mess the people leave because the store is extremly short-staff but sincerely from the bottom of our hearts we are cleaning up and making things look pretty for both me and you, everything we clean and organize - just gets trashed the next day by none other than the customers! It's infuriating so if you ever don't want something, please put it back where it belonged! Thank you. For those saying they will never come back, so don't, easy as that. Please do your part and put something back on the rack or shelf, it's so simple but means everything to us. It's hard to close shop when people regularly buy here so if you don't want Burlington to shut down, help your fellow retail workers, we are people too.- E.G.

Was just in this location last night. I have never been so uncomfortable inside a retail store. Clothes and products alike were intermixed and strewn about the entirety of the building in piles on the floors, shelves and racks as though a tornado had hit. Some products were torn open and at one point I picked up what turned out to be an empty beverage bottle on a pile of random products which was revolting. The clothing sections were intermixed and impossible to navigate. Men's and women's clothing as well as sizes were horribly mixed together. The few clothing items I did find I was unable to try on as the fitting rooms were permanently barricaded and closed? I'm not sure who manages this location, but there is no pride being taken in this store by any of it's employees if it's reached this state of disorganization and chaos. There was only one person working the registers so it took 20 minutes to buy one pair of pants as the line was badly backed up. I will not be returning here. It was the most haphazard and disappointing experience I have ever had in a store.

You know clothes were everywhere and it was a huge mess. As a customer it was frustrating. However, I do sympathize since I have worked at retail stores and people are so ignorant in putting things back and how it was. I know it’s both customers and employees that find this troublesome. Just a warning.

I spent half an hour finding items I wanted to try on just to be told the changing rooms were closed. I was told this by an employee standing behind the closed gate to the changing room while chatting up a friend. Was also told I could return the item. I live 3 hours away. How is taking the items to a convenience store bathroom better than having the rooms open? At least a sign should have been posted on the front doors that they were closed. I would have turned around and not wasted my time. I ended up at Kohl's and TjMax where there rooms were open. I returned my whole purchase without even trying on anything. Management really needs to prioritize this issue.

Was excited to finally check out Burlington in Grand Island, Ne. The excitement lasted about 30 seconds. I have never been in a store that was in the shape this store is. Clothing and other products thrown everywhere…on the floor, on top of other racks, shoved on shelves. Everything looked unattended to for quite some time. I asked my spouse if the store was closing down and maybe they had just quit caring about the shape it’s in. But I see from other reviews that it has been this way for quite some time.Burlington and Bain Capital, we are told to “Expect the Unexpected” when coming to this store. Well, this was definitely unexpected. The Grand Island store needs some serious help.

I had a terrible experience. When I walked in it was bare, hardly any clothes and if there was it was all over the floor. Alarms going off every 5 minutes. People taking security alarms off of clothes and stealing. When I tried to leave I was followed by a creepy guy I went back in the store and an employee didn’t even care another customer offered to walk me back to my car. There were creeps like this everywhere, and I know other people have had the same experience. Definitely needs to be shut down.

It was a complete mess in there. Does anyone even work on the floor to organize anything? There were so many empty shelves and empty racks and nothing was where it was supposed to be. I’m not going to waste my time sifting through a mix of all different sizes of shirts, dresses, and pants all mixed together.

This store looks like a bomb went off. I understand we are in the midst of a labor shortage, but im not exagerating when I say there is just as much on the shelves as the floor. It has been like this for 3 months now and counting. Absolutely 0 pride is shown by staff. Wondering how long a business can operate like this.

This store is a wreck! Shopping carts need 4wheel drive just to get through the Isles. There were more items on the floor than the racks and shelves. The guys "working" were more interested in their phones than there job. Any more tripping hazzards, there won't be a store. They get 1 star from me because I have to. Also website states that the store closes at 11. They closed at 10.. Nice to see that you know how to copy and paste, Nura..

We were in town from Lincoln. Store states it is open online and on store front until midnight. We got there at 8:45pm and they closed at 9 with no posting of it anywhere. As people had mentioned from other reviews months ago the store is still a huge mess and nothing in place. This store needs new management. Poor customer service in my opinion.

Grand Island store is so disorganized. You can't find anything in the correct location. There so much stuff on the floor it is hard to walk around and a safety hazard. They only have one person at the checkouts and she can't even speak English. So be prepared to wait 30+ minutes just to check out. This use to be my favorite store but not now!

This store is by far the dirtiest store I’ve been in! Clothes everywhere, products they want people to buy stepped on and all over the floor. Yet their shelves are bare! I used to love this store til I visited today!

The worst i had a return and had to wait 40 mins in line to return it even with my reciept i still waited 20 more mins because the one and only cashier couldnt figure it out ugggg;hhhhh; this is rediculious your shelves are mostly empty and noone wants to help check people out i feel checking out is a priority i guess your people dont agree i will think twice about shopping there ever again and i WILL spreD the word

Just left the Grand Island store. I think it’s has gotten a lot worse then ever before! There was clothes all over the floor and on top racks just thrown all over. Its disgusting.!

Drove over 2 hrs and couldn't even try any clothes on as they had the dressing rooms closed. Besides that there was barely anything on the racks! Very disappointed! I won't come back!.....I can't just return them easily with that FAR of a drive!!!!
