Bought a refrigerator and it was delivered damaged. The manager said no returns or exchanges due to “customer mishandling”. I was on the phone for hours and only got the international telemarketers who couldn’t do anything. They have hands down the worse customer service I have ever seen. Luckily, I don’t have to pay for the refrigerator only thanks to an outside source, but still not the point. They know they have a monopoly in this area and know you can’t really do much if you need help.

I bought a laptop on sale for $499. A kid bit the screen and broke it. (I didn't buy the extra insurance) but they wanted the full price of the laptop $765.00 to fix the screen.The kid that helped me gave me great service and was very knowledgeable when I bought the laptop. I will never make a big purchase from them again. And they charged me $35 to tell me they wanted more than I paid for the laptop to fix it.I was told it could be$300 and I was ok with that but...Are you kidding me!!

Worked with a sales person that answered all of my questions. Took the time to explain different models and give an honest feedback. Discussed return policies and all the things. Very positive experience! Will go back and recommend to others

Made a specific trip to Best Buy on Christmas Eve day to purchase a specific piece of equipment for the house. We had no choice except Best Buy and it being a holiday - we live 80 miles away. The piece worked for three days then basically "broke" and no longer worked properly. Called the 800# on owners manual, was told to return to the store. Mother Nature hit with multiple snow storms and no travel. Finally was able to return yesterday - still within a 30 day window of purchase. Was told they couldn't return it because all Christmas returns had to be made by Jan 13! Seriously - this wasn't a present/gift it was for our own household and a necessary piece of equipment. Have to send it into the service center to make sure it qualifies for manufacturer warranty before I get any type of refund then it's only store credit - we paid cash for the item! Every time I purchase anything from this store it breaks, doesn't last and I get screwed basically. We basically won't ever be returning - as I said we didn't have a choice this last time. On the bright side the customer service representative I dealt with agreed that policies needed to be changed however the store manager needs a lesson in customer service and common sense

Absolutely disappointing headphones are not even the same model that’s on the box none of the features listed on the box or even available with this model of headphones. I live 90 miles from the nearest Best Buy drove out there thinking I would get something decent. Probably not shopping at Best Buy any more. One other thing I have been charging for hours and they say low battery no charging cord with it not worth my time or aggravation to re-drive 90 miles to return them. My only hope is that someone at Best Buy sees this and offers me a complete refund without having to drive there.

After waiting 2 weeks with no oven, I was excited to pick up my new one Wenesday evening. (3/27/24) After driving TWO HOURS and taking measurements ahead of time, the box was huge, wouldn't fit in my car with it. When I arrived there were at least 6 employees in the store doing nothing staring out the door, they saw me limp in for sure (I have bad arthritis.) So when I asked to unbox it to fit, here comes this "Manager" guy who clearly thinks he's important, and mansplains to me if "they can find someone who isn't busy, they'll unbox it, but I have to then lift my 150 lb stove in my car alone for quote "Liability Reasons?!" This guy is clearly just a misogynistic idiot with a small man complex, but doesn't matter, because no way am I lifting it in by myself. I could tell the other employees disagreed, but didn't have nerve to say it in front of this giant Tool Bag. My Father literally had to go all the way back the next AM with his car to get it, and of course, since this Douche Bag wasn't there, they unboxed it and helped load it in without question. Whomever that guy was "Managing" that evening should be fired and never allowed to Manage anything again. I'm sure his wife picks his clothes for him, poor lady. Customer Service was Pathetic. So was he, sorry bud, anyone with half a brain can Manage a Best Buy, not my fault you have a tiny wing ding. I will never buy anything from there, ever, ever again.

Dec 1st 2023, store is tucked away on the backside of the mall, which seems like it is under some fairly heavy construction, that said, the store itself is really nice, bright, tons of merchandise, I could spend so much money in there it's dangerous. From the inside you would never guess that it shared any of the other parts of the mall under reconstruction. Staff was insightful, polite, and honestly just fun to make small talk with. 5/5 do recommend.

Customer service sucks! I will stick with Amazon! Three employees talking to each other when I walked in pointed me in the direction I needed to go and said we’ll send someone over to check on you because you know they were so busy. Waited 10 minutes and a girl walked right by me with her head in her phone and didn’t say a word!

I showed up about 10 minutes before closing and I luckily had a screenshot of exactly what I needed because the employees were busy getting the store ready to close. Considering the timing of my visit I wasn't too bothered by the lack of assistance.

Poor phone call experience unable to contact store directly to check on package delivery and or get ahold of someone directly. The national line states “the store is not taking phone calls anymore”. Well that doesn’t help me none now I gotta waste my time to just go check if something showed up because I can’t just contact the damn store!!!!!!

When I bought washer and dryer from them they neglected to tell me about extended warranty instead just did the store warranty which only gives discounts on products issues instead of coverage and if you aren’t a member your warranty is canceled even if you paid for it. They don’t actually try to help the customer. manager “corporate will not even try to help my issue if he pushed for it because they just don’t”. The issue is my dryer(GE) is not drying on timed option and if moved to more dry setting doesn’t shut itself off unless you do it. According to GE there standard coverage is only for 1 year from date of purchase.

We ordered a dryer, opted for curbside. They said no more than 10 minutes to bring it out. Waited 20 before we decided to go in and check. 3 employees standing right by front desk having a casual conversation. Continued to ignore us, and continued talking, finally one walks away and a guy greets us.He said " oh ya, we got the order, we're just super swamped in here". Store was basically empty.Oh and the best part...While we're waiting, one of their guys in a GeekSquad van rolls up beside us, has some kind of freak out in the van on his phone, sits there, smokes a cigarette in the van. Just seems pretty poorly managed to me.

They have a wonderful selection and for the most part very helpful staff. The only thing keeping me from a 5 star is some misinformation I was given on the cell phones I bought through best buy prior to Christmas. I asked specifically if there was a catch as to why the exact same cell phone through best buy was $100 cheaper unlocked, than the one they had on display through their Verizon tower not 20 feet away from the best buy display. I was told there was no catch and there would not be any problems trying to set up these phones. This was not true. When I took the unlocked cell phones to Verizon to put them in my home town I spent over 4 hours trying to get them set up before giving up and just deciding to return the phones to best buy and get the phones through Verizon. Other than that I have never had anything to complain about at this store.

And BG does not mean Best Geek, but instead it represents Best Genius, for Geek Squad's IT engineer, Alex, is amazingly intuitive and inventive in rebooting my 2019 s/s laptop! Alex was kind, rapid, generous with his computer engineering skills, very impressive advisor to have there free for this consultation. And by-the-by, Alex, you are our company's Best Buddy! Normally I would talk about the excellent service you received from the amazing people that work there. Which don't get me wrong is really awesome. But today I'd like to complain about something about this particular Best Buy. If you've never been to the store and never been around the store then you probably will have some trouble finding your way around the store. It's just too small for the amount of stuff being sold it needs to be bigger. At least that's my opinion still an awesome store though. If you don't know where you're looking for then the staff is there to help.

Purchased new lifetime replacement for screen protector for my new phone. Was told at time of purchase that if the company that the screen is provided through no longer provides for best buy that they would still replace the screen but it would be under a different company for no charge because that was the service i payed extra for. Three months go by and and I need a new screen protector and surprise the company no longer does business with best buy. Incompetent worker that didn't help me just says they don't provided the service I just payed for a few months prior anymore. I asked if he could order from another company and he stood up looked at me and says NOPE and just walks away and says you need to find it from somewhere else and that he can't help. When looking at the website the show that they have screens that can be ordered but the worker just wanted to be lazy and not do his job. Very disappointed with best buy lately. Obviously nobody in management there will uphold any standards or care about customer needs.

Customer service wasn't very helpful at first. A second associate did finally offer to help after being in the store for 25 minutes .He was very helpful and new his stuff. On a personal note best buy have a lot of associates just standing around. It was sad to see since we had purchased quite a few items a couple years ago and figured it would be an awesome experience and drove 30 miles to shop there. Anyways, this is the reason for the 2.5 star 🌟rating.
