Ace is one of the stores I just love. They have so many things you just can't find in your big hardware store. The biggest is support, I mean they have people every where in Ace. Plus they have that cute little gift section. Ohh and my favorite, the baking section. I could just go on and on. They still carry all the things people need. That your big stores won't carry. We still need stores like Ace hardware.

LOVE coming in here every chance I get!! We prefer to keep our dollars local where we are treated with respect! The staff here are knowledgeable all around and if they don't have the info, they TAKE you directly to someone who does...they don't leave you hanging! Need a special order, they do their best to make it happen! Not sure which lawn equipment to buy, go chat with them, they explain the different options, find out YOUR situation, and help you choose the best one for you. Hands down, the best hardware store customer service experience ever!!

Store wasn't busy so I had opportunity to ask clerk several questions about my purchase. He was very nice- I know next to nothing about tools, which he soon figured out. It is just so nice to exchange a few words with another person after talking to the walls in my house

Very helpful staff. They ask you if they can help you and always have a solution. I really like the nut and bolts section! Best place in town to buy bolts for a rat rod project when all you bolts are either gone or old and rusty. They will have what you need and help you find it or show you how to do it yourself!!!! Also I like the $5 off promo they mail me every so often. Thanks Ace!!!

Very helpful staff and plenty of good choice in store. Even if they don't have what you need the order just about anything and get it in quickly. I pay a little extra usually but I prefer going to Ace over some of the larger stores because you can actually find a human being to talk to.

Great garden center and Bob is a master at answering your landscaping, plant, and turf questions. The gals at the paint desk are super knowledgeable and friendly. A very clean, nice, hometown business. 5 stars!

I wasn't very impressed. I purchase an item from one Ace Hardware and this Ace Hardware can't service it? The Kearney Ace Hardware would work and repair anything you brought to their service shop no matter what brand.Do Better !

Always have liked this store they have more than just tools and hardware they have some other interesting things as well for instance this is where I found my bowl covers! Most of my goofball friends call am shower caps lol but they work so much better than plastic wrap in my mind. 😆

Great place with very knowledgeable people. You can be in and out in the time it takes to park your car at a big box store. Just don't be late. Was informed today that they close 10 minutes before posted closing time.

Had a propane take filled. Loaded in vehicle by the time I got home there was a smell of propane still in my vehicle. Took a look at tank and person who filled the tank did not close the relief screw all the way. Luckily I did have far 2 go. Had windows down otherwise it could have been a lot worse. Personnel should b more careful and double check . Other wise quick service

Great customer service. Always very helpful. They have a rewards program that is actually rewarding. Their prices may be a tiny bit higher than other places, but the customer service you get is well worth it!

This is a great hardware and lawn and garden store! Excellent supply of quality fasteners and sometimes hard to find items to make repairs around the home. The power equipment they sell are the better brands at reasonable prices. Knowledgeable and friendly people are there to answer questions and help find things.

This is a very nice & clean Ace Hardware. A gentleman greeted us at the door and took us around to find everything we needed. He did admit he hadn't worked there very long but took us directly to the correct areas we need.

Terrible small engine service department! Worst ever been in! Lazy did not want to do job , took me two minutes on phone to find lawn mower switch on phone and they are an authorized dealer! Indax 3position switch! Helpful hardware man not around anymore ! Went back in asked if could locate they said as did before we need more information!? I called company in Chicago! On way! Get a life Ace! Wow

Bought a drill 4 days ago. And I can't say that I'm very pleased with this store manager. Nathan or something close to that. He has NO customer service skills. Zero! Zip! Nada! I brought the drill back because the charger started to get really hot when i plugged it in so that I could get a full charge on the battery. I told them about the smell and it getting really really hot. Like something was burning. I guess they thought i was out for a freebie or something because they had me leave it there to "check ". It's like they thought I was lying. They even asked if I plugged it in right. Is there a wrong way to plug something into a wall outlet? Bad treatment to customer that has been coming to this store for over 20 years. Will not be coming back anytime soon.

Ran in for a couple of items. The were in different parts of the store but they walked me to both. In and out in a few minutes. Friendly staff and excellent customer service. Highly recommend.

Rented Rug Dr. with upholstery attachment. Attachment squirted 3 small streams of cleaner in 3 totally different directions. Worthless. I let Ace know when I returned machine but they did not care, nor did I get a refund for the broken attachment.UPDATE: Manager at ACE called and he refunded my money for the Rug Dr. There was a miscommunication at the register and ACE took very good care of me. Definitely recommend ACE in Grand Island!!

I really like our Ace Hardware. Over the years I have come to know many of the workers there and have found them very friendly, knowledgeable about their store and available hardware, and solutions needed for my projects. I don't go anywhere else if I don't have to. Ace is the place!

Everyone is helpful and enthusiastic to get you what you are looking for. Prices are reasonable. Plenty of parking. I love it because it's close to home and convenient if I neef something for a quick home repair.

They need to get some help. Another guy and i stood waiting to get a key made for 20 minutes and even after call went over the intercom system no one ever showed up so i went home. Maybe i will go to Walmart

I am very impressed with the plant and garden center! They have in almost every plant that I was looking for, which is amazing for this early in the season! The employees were very helpful and friendly and the prices are reasonable too!

UPDATE 12/29/18I have a corn stove that also burns wood pellets. So I was at Ace to get some propane (BTW, 3.99 A GALLON IS WAY HIGH FOR PROPANE) and thought I'd buy some wood pellets. They had them but they were $18 plus for a 50 pound bag of pellets. I have been buying them at Menards for $4.25 for 50 pound bag of hardwood pellets. ACE HARDWARE has the best customer service anywhere but 10 bags of pellets would have cost $200 with tax compared to $50 with tax at Menards. Something excessive going on here... As far as I know they are not "MAGIC WOOD PELLETS".This is one if the best stores in Grand Island. They have actual PEOPLE who know the products and are helpful. That is lacking almost everywhere else in a hardware store, anywhere. I love this store!

When purchasing gas powered equipment and yard tools the equipment: they have been test run by qualified staff prior to purchase delivery! High degree of care answering questions with a feeling of true customer appreciation!

Had a couple windows broken and heard they were cheap to fix so i brought them and the people in hardware told me it would be 11$ a piece went to go pick them up and they charged me 70$ i suppose communication needs to be improved.

A good place to go for Fast and friendly help. They usually have what you need on hand if not it don't take but a day or two to have it in very accommodating.
