Ida, Rusty, and the rest of the staff were so extremely accommodating, kind, and overall welcoming during our 16 wk stay at the hojo. the staff even went above and beyond ordering us a christmas dinner free of charge, and inviting us to their NYE party. we can not thank them enough for their extreme kindness, and will definitely be back.

Absolutely horrible. Was rudely welcomed in and told that I need to wait for awhile before they could help me. Once checked in on the way to my room I pasted an entire hallway of paint and a bunch of debris scratched throughout the hallway. Was told they would have breakfast, pool, wifi, and an outside ping pong table. After arriving Was told they do not offer any of those services anymore

Room was incredibly clean, affordable, and had a mini-fridge, microwave, AND coffee maker. Bed was super comfy, and pet few was only $10. Not a ton of space to walk a pup when there's snow on the ground, but without that, there's a giant grassy area behind the hotel that would be great.Pool was closed, if that's something you had your heart set on, and Lasso Espresso (across the parking lot) is some of my favorite coffee in the country, so check it out (their dirty chai is to die for).

Rooms were clean minus the bathroom door handle, had some weird sticky food type stuff stuck to it but easy enough to wipe off. Beds were comfortable. I did not understand the decor theme of the rooms. They were a little mix matched. Our carpet did have a scuff mark when we arrived but it wasn't a huge deal to us but I did take note of that. One of my only complaints about this hotel was that somebody was definitely smoking cigarettes in their room and as an ex smoker, that was no good. The room doors literally have no smoking signs on them and there are various places for smoking outside of the hotel.Service was very friendly. They serve a great breakfast spread as well. There is a restaurant within walking distance of the hotel that has delicious food at great prices so you don't have to go out of your way for food.The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside but I would definitely stay there again. One of the most restful hotels I've stayed in during my big move across the country.

Awesome experience. We got in late..traveling from Colorado. The night shift front desk associate was very sweet and hospitable! Really nice, clean rooms and comfy beds! The next morning we enjoyed the continental breakfast and was impressed by the many options, cleanliness and attentive service that was offered. They deserve more than 5 stars! Thank you!

It's a wonderful little place to stay! The rooms are clean and cozy, they don't smell strange like some smaller hotels and they don't have stains everywhere. The beds are comfortable and they have a truckers discount! Truck parking across the street makes it nice so that we have a place to park even if it's late.

I cannot remember the last time I have been treated so rudely by hotel staff. I had an issue with my credit card when checking-in because of a temporary travel hold. In a state of panic I asked them to rerun it several times and was met with a completely surly attitude by the manager at the desk at the time of check-in. She was rude and dismissive of my concerns. After the issue was resolved, I commented that she could have been kinder since I was a in state of panic given that I was traveling with a small child. Her only response was to say "I could say the same of you miss" and then to turn away and talk to her colleague, completely ignoring me.I fully admit that I'm not at my best when in a state of panic, however I'm not standing behind a customer service desk either. I did not yell at this woman or treat her badly in any way other than asking her to run the card a few times and feeling exasperated about the situation. She treated me like I was scum because my card could not go through.Don't stay here if you want to be treated with respect or kindness should any issues come up.

Booked online through a 3rd party app. The initial thought from the outside was "well it looks ok". We unknowingly were booked a smoking room, and as non smokers I immediately went to change rooms. Service was friendly and quickly switched us to a non smoking room. If you absolutely have to stay here it's not terrible, but not great either. The pool was closed as well so my daughter was highly disappointed. Try Cozad for better hotels if you have to stay in the area.

I didn’t check into this facility to do my normal pre stay inspection. My business colleague arrived before I did so the review is based on my experience with customer service, the facilities and breakfast.There was ample parking, even for larger vehicles.The decor is very outdated and there was a mildew smell to the entire facility.I now travel with a swim suit because sometimes I can get some laps in at a hotel pool. Nope, not this memorial weekend! The pool was still empty with no sign of opening soon. Weight room? Did see even a location for that. The ice machine is the kind that probably hasn’t been cleaned in decades and the ice will taste like bacteria. Available consumption of the ice from that machine until updated or a UV light for purification has been added.The breakfast at least offered something that was gluten free and a simple protein option for Lacto Ovo diets.Coffee was not good but not horrible.I didn’t even try the juice cause it always tastes like powdered formulas out of those machines.The bed was clean, comfortable and had white sheets and fluffy pillows. The room itself even smelled of mold and mildew but was at least clean. There was a Bible in the drawer. No conditioner or lotion available. I couldn’t wash my hair because my colleague used the only bottle of shampoo.One bottle per head is what those were designed for. (Especially with long hair)This is not the worst Wyndham I’ve stayed in in the United States but it’s definitely not the best I’ve stayed in in North America.

This place was so lovely.Traveling cross country and was super nervous about staying in states we have never been. We felt very comfortable here and so did our fur babies. They also had a nice little breakfast. The service was great as well. Super nice people. If we are ever in Gothenburg Nebraska ever again we will definitely stay here. 10/10

Only reason I stayed here is it had decent reviews, unsure why. The front desk guy was very nice- but the room itself was gross- I was assured a non-smoking room and when I walked in it reeked of smoke very very bad. And there was an ashtray on the table. Didn’t sleep well at all.

Stayed a night due to road closures. Definitely pleased with the room, got the jacuzzi suite. Has the living room and bedroom separate at a reasonable price. Tv in each room. I'd say it's the best place I've stayed at. Hoping the roads stay closed another day lol. Pool was closed but I can live without it. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and smelled fresh.

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of this hotel; both the exterior and the interior of this property were very well-maintained. Our spacious room was clean, tidy, quiet and safe and the bed was really comfortable. The woman who checked us in was so nice; she went out of her way to make us feel welcomed and appreciated. My wife, kids and I were traveling through and needed a place. The night gal was super nice and helpful. I was amazed first by the cost, way less than I expected. And the rooms were very nice. I really like the small home town feel and the breakfast was great. And the coffee was amazing. The staff was nice and friendly and service was a 10/10. This is quite the hidden Diamond here and if I’m ever coming back through I will stay again.Cleanliness 10/10Staff 10/10Presentation 10/10Breakfast 10/10

I’m not sure why people leave ridiculous reviews here. 🤦‍♀️ Clean rooms, quiet, comfy beds, INCREDIBLY NICE STAFF, free breakfast. It’s not a gourmet spread, but they have a waffle maker and that’s all that matters. 😁 If you want a five-star hotel, go to one and pay that price. This was a pleasant experience, and I’d stay here again.
