After reading previous reviews of this hotel concerning the remodeling issues, I believe the management has finished its remodeling. We had a pleasant experience - check-in was easy, our room was spacious & comfortable. We had a good night's sleep in a comfortable & clean bed. The breakfast was just fine - eggs, bacon, waffles, juices, coffee, and the regular bread choices. I would definitely stay here again!Rooms: Spacious, comfortable, USB plug-ins, tables on both sides of the bed. Great room.

Made a reservation, arrived and the front desk woman had the worst attitude. I asked for a first floor room, no. She asked if I wanted to change the card that would be charged. She couldn't do it. I let her know that she was batting 0. She then decided to refuse my reservation. Really! I went next door. They were nice. And now I see they have charged my credit card for services they refused to honor! Guess what. That's a lawsuit. I took her ugly picture too. Proof.

Excellent location when traveling on I-80, right off highway with Espresso Lasso coffee shop in parking lot serving wonderful coffee in a local manner!Hotel is being updated and it was CLEAN, comfortable, modern, very friendly, and served up the perfect traveling breakfast. The service was personable, kind, and ready to serve. Bed was comfortable!Food & drinks: Breakfast was a variety of fresh, choices served in a very clean space and refreshed by a very friendly staff.Noteworthy details: Appreciated the cleanliness and above average efforts to keep it simple, modern, and fresh looking: spacious, comfortable, and priced well below those hotels up the road in North Platte. Perfect for traveling through!

Good location if you are visiting Gothenburg. Just off of I-80, close to gas, restaurants, and coffee and minutes away from downtown. They are in the middle of remodeling rooms but ours was clean and comfortable. Bathroom could use an update, but overall a good value. Service is excellent and the staff is warm and friendly. Breakfast served daily and they make a good cup of coffee. We certainly will stay here in the future.

Cinder blocks sitting in the hallway iced over sidewalks with no one thrown any ice. Melt down rooms that are halfway finished being remodeled our room had a short on the electrical outlet on the wall every time the fridge turned on our TV sound would quit working unless you unplugged the HDMI cord on the cable box peoples dogs barking at 7:30 for an hour this is a horrible hotel my wife has brittle bones if she would've broken her back on your icy sidewalks I would've pressed charges their double queen beds are actually two full sized beds with tiny couch pillows

The hotels is new but the location is awful. There is traffic noise. Not much available in the area and it’s not pleasant. The owners can’t do much about the location, but they could do better. The pillows are very small. Breakfast was poor - no bread (except biscuits and muffins) and no fruit at breakfast. Pool closed. Permanently? For a modern hotel the power outlets aren’t conveniently placed.

This place should not be open for business as we were in a room that didn’t have a fire detector, oh the wires were hanging from the ceiling. The outlet closest to the bed was broken, pool and hot tub were not working even though place advertised them, mold in the bathroom and unfinished drywall too. Nothing on the walls like pictures, did not feel comfortable. Heater stunk as it appeared coffee was spilled in it. Don’t waste your money on this dive!!Rooms: We’re terrible

I book through them all the time because there's not much else in the area. But their phone never works. So frustrating. I usually just book online, but every once in a while you need to actually talk to someone and it just makes it impossible and then they tried telling me the voicemail greeting that comes up is not a voicemail...

This motel is not ready for guests. They had a water main break last winter and the place needs to be bulldozed down. Mold, construction debris, expired food. Do not ever book this place again it's a disaster and the workers are incompetent .Safety: It's not safe to stay here stay away!!!

Very nice! Our room was very clean and larger than most hotel rooms. There was a granite surround in the shower. The staff was very friendly. They were nice enough to leave the breakfast out a little later than posted. Which we greatly appreciate! They left out cookies and milk in the evening. And they had an indoor pool. I really hated to leave. I would definitely stay there again!

Such a great value and a wonderful clean room! We enjoyed our stay here and the room and hotel was so clean. How nice to have a regular breakfast again. We've been staying at Choice properties all along our road trip. Being handed a paper sack for breakfast isn't so nice and that is the new covid idea some hotels have...We had full breakfast of eggs and bacon and fresh fruitLovely! So glad this hotel treats customers with respect.Friendly and helpful staff.

Room was HUGE! Comfortable bed. AC worked great! Only complaints was room smelled faintly of dog urine. Upon arrival with pets we were given a “dog friendly” room. Good thing our male dog is well trained and didn’t decide to mark over the previous dog urine himself. Some other issues were that it took 20+ minutes to get checked in. Couple in front were waiting at least 10 min and then we had about 10 min. Nothing unusual with either check in. Pretty standard and routine. And there was a couple behind us waiting even longer. I think the older lady may have been new? She didn’t seem to know her way around the computer check in system well. Also, the pretty lobby with grand piano, etc was super dark. Only 2 lights on over front desk. Every other light off. It was around dinner time that we arrived. I thought maybe they had some power outage. But could be trying to save money keeping lights off? Lastly, internet stopped working about 2:20am (we use brown noise online for our dogs to sleep better with potential guest hotel noise). Internet didn’t come back until around 8am. Maybe they just shut it off at a certain time? Maybe it’s limited Wi-Fi? Also, pool was drained and hot tub closed. However, none of this was a deal breaker. We would stay here again! Reasonable rate for pets and gas station, coffee shop, bar and restaurant all within walking distance.

Clean, spacious room with a comfortable bed. I appreciate having a digital thermostat instead of adjusting the window units.. The staff was friendly. The pool area was clean and well kept. I'm not sure if the hot tub was open as the cover was on it. The breakfast buffet had lots of options, waffle, eggs and bacon, biscuits and gravy, warm and cold cereals, etc. We will stay there if we are in the area again.

No pool, which is why we chose this hotel. It was there but had no water. That was disappointing. Take it off the website if it is no longer available. Some of exercise equipment did not work and the room was hot. The breakfast had many choices but the eggs and sausage were not warm. Plus it isnt served til 7 am. We are early risers. Most hotels we've stayed at serve at 6 am. Room was clean.

I travel for work and have stayed here a few times. Rooms are nice if you get one on the north side so the freeway traffic doesn't wake you up. There is Howard Johnson next door and has the same beds. The same 2 guys own both hotels. My latest stay here was a disaster. You are better off paying $20 less and staying at the Howard Johnson. At Comfort Inn the internet and business center was down and the employees pretty much told me to "kick rocks". I had to go to Howard Johnson and use their business center to print out my business paperwork. Long story short, stay at the Howard Johnson for $20 less and get the same beds and better service

Great value. Stayed one night in a two queens suite on a long road trip with my family. Comfortable, quiet, and spacious. It was restful. Breakfast was good - had eggs and bacon/sausages too. We all slept very well at the end of our road trip and had a pleasant drive back home. The price was very reasonable compared to equivalent hotels within 50-mile radius. Close to the freeway. A couple of gas stations were nearby. I would stay here again.

Shower was great that’s about the only thing. Room was 74 degrees when we arrived and took forever to cool down. WiFi didn’t even reach our room and it would kick ya off the second you got hooked up. They ran out of almost of everything for breakfast by 8 o’clock and staff wasn’t going to make anymore. The biggest thing was the pool was broken feel like that should be on the website to inform guest

I give it a 4.9 for five very minor issues. The left wallpaper 1ft long piece on the side of the shower was not done professionally. Either the exhaust fan was broken Or missing in the bathroom. The thermostat was left on the wall after the remodel/update of the heater,a/c unit. Fan motor made a slight flapping noise . The alarm clock was on the wrong time, I could not fix it. Besides these very minor issues. The bed was very comfortable, room decor and layout was great. The price and quality of the room was better than we expected. Very Happy with my stay.

We needed a handicap room and we’re placed in one of the nicest rooms I’ve seen. Lots of room, big bed, recliner and an actual seat in the shower. Very nice Comfort Suites!! We’ll see you again.

The air conditioner was noisy when we arrived and then gave out at 2 a.m. We had to open the window to keep cool but the sound of the freeway and the trains made sleeping difficult. When we mentioned it to the staff in the morning they rudely asked us why we hadn't reported it earlier. At 2 a.m.? We're supposed to get up and wait for some maintenance guy to show up and tell us that the whole unit needs to be replaced? The hallways are not air conditioned and dirty. The room was OK, except for the air conditioner (or lack thereof). If you're traveling, do yourself a favor and stay in North Platte (about 30 miles west) or Lexington (about 40 miles east). The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was a good size, with a king bed and pull out sofa bed. The Continental breakfast was as good as you might expect a free Continental breakfast at a hotel to be- it gets the job done. My only complaint is about the pillows. The king bed had 5 or 6 really small pillows that were very firm. The awkward size lead to a less than ideal night of sleep. Otherwise, the bed and sheets were clean and comfortable.

Great clean rooms with nice looking design. They were professional and courteous. First hotel/motel we have been to in quite some time now that actually serves a hot breakfast. The breakfast selection was huge. Was 91.00 to stay here for a two bed room. The pool looks nasty and isnt really open. Hot tub is closed as well. They have a putt putt range to golf ⛳ on as well outside which is perty unique. Currently as well they are in dire need of some landscaping as kts over grown and nasty looking around the property and it looks like a tornado touched down on one side becaise the whole building on that side is coming apart.

Stop sooner or drive further. Room was hot. Wall thermostat permanently set at 75 but didn't control the AC unit. AC would not run for more than a few minutes before turning off and never cooled the room below 77. Shower head was stripped and would only hang directly down. Refrigerator didn't work until the morning Wi-Fi super slow ..when it actually worked and showed available. Desk chair leaned to one side Carpet was bunched in several areas and could be a tripping hazard. Ice machine out of order. Pool out of order. Vending machine not stocked. Juice machine for breakfast was out of order. Told the front desk when I checked out this place was terrible and she just gave me a blank stare, gave me my receipt and told me to have a good day. This whole place should be out of order and out of business. Employees will tell you the owner doesn't care...owns both hotels and bar/restaurant in the area. Must be counting on the Tesla supercharger station to bring in the customers.

Our family only stayed for 1 night, which was all we need with our travel plans. The front desk attendant was very friendly. The space of the room was exactly what we needed, (2 queen beds w/a sofa pull out bed, however, our room smelled of cigarette smoke. Not heavily, but you could tell smoking rules were not obeyed. There's a lot of wear and tear that needs tending to throughout the entire hotel. There's neglected cracks in walls that are rather large. We had stains on the carpet, a few cobwebs in obvious places, the walls need repainted and the furniture also had lots of noticeable wear and tear. The heater didn't work well and there was quite a draft coming from the window unit even though it wasn't on; it was in the negative digits during our overnight stay.

The hotel was clean, spacious, and modern. Our room was large and comfortable, with my only complaint being a single television that felt too small for a room of that size. Breakfast was pretty typical fare for Choice Hotels. Given how isolated this location seems, it was a pleasant surprise. Would stay again if I'm out this way.

The place was clean, large, and offered a lot for a reasonable price. We had two queen beds as well as a food out bed from the sofa in the room. Their was a mini fridge and a microwave in the room along with a large TV. We also had a nice hot breakfast complimentary of the hotel in the morning. The keys were a touch pad which made getting into the room super easy. They also alowed dogs we had two with us and it was only an extra $25. Comfortable beds and great service. Definitely will go again if needed.
