They run out of stuff a lot like milk but they are the cheapest place in town for it. Be prepared to move carts and look for stuff when shopping here. Also, keep an eye on the price of items when they are scanned and be sure to ask if discounts are applied on sale items before paying. They are good at honoring sale prices.

they rarely have anything in stock, the store is almost always a mess, it seems to be dirty all the time anymore, often the wait in line to checkout takes longer than the shopping did, aisles are often blocked by the freight that isn't being stocked (usually they don't have the employees hired or on shift to take care of it)....11/17/2021 there are still times that the shelves seem empty or the aisles are overcrowded with items BUT the improvement made this past year will bring my 1☆ review up to a 3... also the employees there now are also friendlier and doing such a better job ... most issues I have personally are not as much with the store and workers but with the chain (corporation) itself1/4/23 never know if they will actually be open for business, many items not in stock, messy... but the employee's are friendly, helpful, and try their best with what they a given.

My sister barely walked into the store and one of the workers started staring at her for no reason and she told my her that she should've used her eyes and looked at the sign in the front and made her pour her drink outside rather than jus letting her leave it at the front

manager or owner of this dollar general is rude, racist, prejudiced, and stereotypical towards Native Americans, i heard similar stories of others similar as ours. I never thought we would be in that situation, yet i proven wrong

Understaffed and understocked. At least half of the shelves are always empty. Sometimes it takes them months to restock an item or it never gets restocked and the shelf just remains empty. Most of the time there is only 1 person working but the staff is always friendly and helpful. It is not feasible for the 1 staff member to be the only cashier and the only stock person to keep the product on the shelves of this very busy store. It boils down to bad corporate management.

9 times out of 10 the isles have items that need to be stocked and are in the way. Theres usually a line to get checked out and usually only one checker up front to check people out. Although some of the employees are nice and hardworking some seem to try they're hardest to avoid customers and what needs to be done.

As a fan of Dollar General for many years it's rather painful to be moving to a community that has a DG only to discover how long-term critically in need this particular store is for a manager with desperately needed organizational talents, a merchandise stocking & disciplined skill set, and communication skills rapport with fellow employees. It simply blows me away that with the highly organized areas stores that are in the Nebraska panhandle: Chadron, Crawford, 2 in Alliance as well as 2 in Scottsbluff, and other panhandle locations that this particular Dollar General store has somehow managed to slip-slide away from any semblance of what DG has come to represent to so many of us. Am thus far highly disappointed, looking forward to the day when the store is once again organized, stocked, less messy, and the like. It will take some doing but they can get there if they want to.

To bad I cannot give a zero star rating and a review, this store does not even deserve a 1. At the start of the visit the staff was demand that my spouse wear a mask. She informed them that she had a medical condition. The staff tried to remove her from the store. They later demanded that she provide medical document and declare her condition (a blatant violation of her rights). When the manager (Shelly) was informed that she could not legally demand this she then refused service to my spouse. We were forced to go to the other checker. I accidentally knocked over a bottle of soda and was then berated and verbally abused by the cashier (Kiaya). I did apologize for knocking over the soda, but she continued to operate in a rude and disrespectful manner. This visit to your store has made me rethink where I will be shopping. If this it the type of staff the you choose to have represent your brand then I would much rather give my business and my money to any other establishment. There was a complete lack of professionalism, courtesy, or respect during this visit. If I have to shop in a dirty disheveled store the least I can expect is a staff that knows how to treat the patrons.

You cannot find anything due to the fact that there are carts full of merchandise in boxes. These items, however, are packed up in boxes which makes them in accessible to shoppers. Many of the isles are a complete mess as well.

It was terrible. I am getting so sick going in there anymore. I am going to change and start going to the Family Dollar. Everytime I use a check the darn machine tears up and have to stop and work on it. Phone calls has to be made on how to fix the stupid machine. I am so sick of this Dollar Store.

Terribly messy isles without enough good staff to put the stuff away and run the front. Suffers from severe nepetisim and poor work ethic. Can't keep good staff.

Although the store seems to suffer from Staffing problems, they always have a good variety and of course their pricing is below the other mom and pop stores.
