You know it's good when there's a line waiting to be seated. Very affordable prices. Small town feel home cooked meals. Quite the variety on the drink menu as well. I really enjoyed the blue cheese dressing on my salad. The asthetic was interesting with local items on the walls. Old foot pedal sewing machine as table legs was so neat!

No fat = no fun!Saturday Night Only Smoked Prime Rib is the best Prime Rib in southwest Nebraska area, I as a fat lover, as also a Prime Rib Hunter personally say.Smoky flavor makes you antebellum era!

A nice little find in this quaint town. Great selection of craft beer that was downright delicious. Great service and hospitality. Food was average pub food, the only reason it didn't get 5 stars.

We were traveling across the country on 80 in our RV, trying to get home during the Kung-Flu panic. Our supplies were running low, so we searched google for a nearby convenience store or restaurant that might be open. I told my wife that we will never find anything open today, but she said “have faith”. As always, she was right! Chez bubba came up. They were open, even though it was Sunday. They couldn’t let anyone dine in during the nationwide quarantine of course, but they took our order at the door and brought the food out to our RV where my wife and I had a private dinner.The food was absolutely amazing. The sweet potato fries were just the right amount of salty and sweet. The blue cheese bacon burger was savory and delicious. The chicken wings were cooked perfectly and the sweet and hot sauce was delicious!We even had pecan pie for desert and it was honestly the best I ever had with toasty cinnamon baked in the nuts and a flakey crust.We highly recommend this place! Just one mile from I80 in a tiny town.

We made the hour-long drive from Lincoln to give this clean, nice-size cafe a try...what a hidden gem! We got there early on a Saturday evening, receiving very prompt service; genuine interest; and friendliness! Our ticket included a draft beer, appetizer, 2 meals and a dessert for just over $40, and the portions were substantial! The food was delicious! By the time we were done with our meal, the restaurant was almost completely full and being handled very efficiently by one lone person! We were so happy that we made the trip to this small town and will definitely be back soon!!! 😋👍🏼

We stopped in while traveling through. It's a little worn in appearance but the food was excellent. All 3 of us enjoyed our meals. I highly recommend the Monterey chicken sandwich.

Wonderful find for an off-the-road place. Good was delicious and the waitress was so nice. Lot of interesting items to look at. Only negative was they seem expensive, but that is anywhere these days.

Unbelievable service and great food as well! Stopped by for dinner while traveling. It was our daughter's birthday and the staff and patrons made the entire meal very special. They all went above and beyond to help her celebrate (it was our server's birthday too!) With the state of the world these days, little gestures like this mean so much. We will return for sure.

All there was on the highway was the dinner plate sign. And it was worth taking the exit. A couple of turns on the all dirt road town and my keen eyes spotted every car and truck in the town at one building. Now I know why. The brisket Sandwich was ample and had just the right amount of sauce. The coleslaw was delicious. The menu was perfect for the traveler or the local. The ambiance was just what is should be, perfect rural American dinning.

We really enjoy the place!! My salad was AMAZING!! And their ranch is the best ever!! It is homemade, thick, creamy and just delicious!! The rib eye steak had good flavor but was really fatty. The wait staff very friendly and helpful!! A great place with tasty food!!!!!

Chez Bubba's is amazing! If you have never been there you need to try this place. They're special today was beef brisket with coleslaw and a side of macaroni and cheese or baked beans for a very very reasonable price. The portions were huge. Great service highly recommend. Oh. And I forgot to mention the amazing home made desserts! Wow.

We stopped for lunch. I had the special of chicken fried steak. It appeared to be freshly made, was tender, and was covered with a tasty gravy. My friend had a burger that he said was very good. I couldn't drink but it appeared that the beer selection was good, and it is a bar so it should have mixed drinks. The price was right for me too.

This place is worth pulling off the interstate for. Lots of seating big meals and great desserts. Yes you should save room for dessert. The staff is friendly and they have a good beer selection. There is a little city park next door to let kids or dogs get a little exercise before getting on the road again.

We are on a road trip and needed a place to stop for lunch. They had a baby back rib special for $8.99, which included a side. We got a half rack and it was delicious! One of the sides we chose was the cornbread and it was amazing.The iced tea was the best we've had on our 2 week trip.They have homemade pie as well, I had the pecan pie and it was also very good, especially the crust.This place is pretty close to Lincoln, NE and I recommend it to anyone who is nearby.

We stopped at the Chez Bubba Cafe because we saw the sign on the Interstate and LOVED the name. What a beautiful thing to find the food absolutely delicious! I had the chopped brisket, slaw and sweet potato fires and my dad had the ribs, slaw and beans. Every last bite was incredibly good. If you are able to save a little room for dessert, I highly recommend the smoked chocolate cake. The atmosphere is casual, the restaurant is quaint and clean, and the wait staff is friendly & knowledgeable (thanks, Megan!).

BBQ and burgers and other bar grub, but done exactly right. This is a must stop. Great atmosphere, friendly folks. The kind of place you just want to do well. Food was awesome. Beats the pants off of any chain stop and most of the other mom and pop joints as well.

Awesome food! Smoked wings with buffalo sauce were awesome! Homemade ranch and bleu cheese were delicious. You can't go wrong with the french fries with cheese and bacon! Bloody Mary was good. Very good selection of beers, including my husband's favorite, Hopluia, on tap! Kelly is an awesome bar manager. We loved hearing about the history of the building and restaurant.

Brisket grilled cheese, burgers, onion rings, and fried green beans were all very tasty. The cheese sauce on the philly was not good and there was 3 times too much of it. But the atmosphere and staff were very friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a shot and we'll be back again!

Best BBQ place I've ever been to!! Well worth the dri e from York (that's about 25 miles one way). My personal favorite is the Jalapeno Brisket Sandwich. Plentyof jalapenos and cheese sauce, paired with really hot, crispy crinkle fries !! Yummy !! Good service and reasonable prices, too.

The food here is very good and a quick. After a long trip, and many stops along the way, this bbq joint had the best service on i80. They pride themselves on made from scratch, and locally sourced food, and have a great selection at the bar. Definitely worth the stop.
