This store needs to be investigated!! My 89 year old mother likes to go to this DG. Last weekend they had no heat and it was 50° in the store. We were all wearing gloves & coats. There was 1 person who was working hard. The other ones were standing at the front gossiping about other people who work there. The Manager was no where to be found. People were leaving the store... They asked where the manager & assistant manager were & they said they had tried to call the manager and they didn't answer or return calls.. My mother has the receipt or I would have done the survey from that but i want everyone to see this review anyway. Whoever the manager is they have a favorite coworker that gets special treatment & that person reports what's going on behind the other workers backs.It was also mentioned that the manager sends texts to all of the employees about their poor performance in a group text. Nothing is confidential!!All of this happened in front of us in 15 minutes...I would hope that something will be done about this in quick fashion..The management needs to be fired!!

I'm sitting in the parking lot as I write this. I had a disgusting experience. There wasn't any employees to be found. Self check out was the only option. No bags were available to bag your own groceries I had to find them and stock them myself. I had medicine that required an employee to verify my age, I finally found two employees in an aisle on their phones chatting it upJamie came to help. I told her of my experience. She didn't speak a word. When I commented rhat she didn't have anything to say for this garbage she said no because I'm not going to feed into your negativity. I will NEVER spend my hard earned money here again!!!!

I had a great experience at Dollar General in Gering. The employee, Tommy Lewis, was amazing! He was so helpful and courteous! He helped me find exactly what I needed and he was just as courteous to other customers that came in when I was there! It was a great experience!

I really like the convenience of shopping at the Dollar General. You are able to load credit/debit cards for a fee, which sometimes is well worth it. I usually can go straight to what I am needing to grab and run, however, the stores changes periodically, so I tend to ask as I hit the door. Also, I really wish that a associate would be a bit closer to the register. There have been times the wait was lengthy, only because they are at the far corner stocking. I understand they have limited time to get this chore done, but if you have 5+ customers needing to be checked at once, it''s a bit of a nail biter, when you are in a rush. Other than that, 5 stars could be had. I appreciate all the associates and their hard work.

Use the online order to pick up things from this location they didn’t fulfill my order as supposed items being out of stock when the items were on their shelves I do not trust this store Or their employees will never be shipping this location again. They said I’d have to pay full price As the sale was over although I ordered the items when the sale was present And items were in stock what a joke of a place

Great place to get things I need at a low price, vary easy to find the things I need. The employee was vary nice when helping me find what I needed, I'm for sure coming back here.

Came here while staying for the weekend. The alarm wrnt off when walking out and the lady kept telling me I took something as she followed me outside to take pictures of my daughter and I on her personal cell phone. When I got to destination my daughter noticed I had a security tag on my shoe!!! I told her she did not have permission to take photos of my daughter and I. She continued to do so!

Since the new people took it over they aren't helpful at all. I'm in a wheelchair and they won't even hold the door open or get things down from a to shelf. I miss the old workers.

I'm a regular. I always get milk here. Got tired of buying sour milk from Walmart. I've been buying milk from Dollar General for 4 or 5 years , HAVE NEVER GOTTEN SOUR MILK FROM DOLLAR GENERAL

Says they are open at 7 but by 7:10 no one was there opening the store. Me and 3 other cars drove away. I was in a desperate hurry to get things but they let us down.

This store is so very unorganized that it litterly takes an hour to pick up the 5 items that u needed which it should have only take about 15-20 mins.
