I have developed a love/hate relationship with this store. I appreciate the rebates and surprisingly have found that quite a few things are cheaper here than at Walmart. And the employees are so much nicer and more willing to help if you are in need of assistance. My hate relationship with this store comes from having to go there when I have to fix/repair something at home that I wasn’t expecting and sure wasn’t budgeting for… Menards always has amazing deals and you can’t beat their seasonal prices and sales!!! I purchased everything I needed to get a ramp built for my aging dad and the end result looks FABULOUS!!

Almost anything you can imagine for home improvement is here. We are remodeling our bathroom and the staff was so helpful in finding and explaining what we needed and how to use it.

Best hardware store in Fremont with everything you could possibly need, quality and service are outstanding.i would recommend coming here first before going anywhere else especially for odds and ends or just your regular hardware store needs and wants. The 11% saves alot on future purchases also definetly a go to for any project need you have!

It would be really nice if they had more than one shopping cart designed for little kids. We shop there frequently and our little one knows that there is a cart for kids and 99% of the time it's being used. So maybe work on getting a few more.

Our last visit was very lacking in customer service and we contemplated other Hardware stores. However, Today's visit was exceptional! We did not get her name but the nice lady working in paint and Tristan at the the register offered amazing customer service.

We made some big purchases last night for a bathroom remodel and I’d like to give Ralph a 10 out of 10 for his assistance. He was so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable! We will definitely be on the lookout for him in the future when shopping at your store.The reason I’m giving 4 stars is because of the checkout process. The cashier was not so helpful. She seemed less than enthused when we walked up with multiple large items and was uninformed about the financing for the credit card, had I not been asking the right questions we would not have gotten the 48-month financing which was the reason we got everything all at once anyway.

Did some Christmas and grocery shopping. Love the different selection from usual grocery stores. More pleasant experience. The bags also don't tear so easily. Love the dry soup mix. gourmet sodas, and great snacks. They also carry very inexpensive dvds, a nice line of greeting cards. A fun place to go.

Great place to see or get ideas of items to purchase, they have items for all ages! Also a great place for "walkers", walking for your health, walk the inside perimeter 4 times is 20 minutes for me, almost one mile! Thanks Menard's for allowing regular walkers in your store!

Why anyone chooses to shop at a store where the cashiers will stand there and watch YOU have to do half of their job is absolutely beyond me. Go to a real store with customer service.

Great place to shop! The people make this Menards one of the best stores around. They are happy to help without being intrusive. The store always seems to be fully stocked, with no empty bins.

After 10 minutes of waiting in the paint area I yelled for someone to help but no one answered. I went to look for an employee and saw someone 2 isles over. They called for a person to the paint area. After another 10 min. I went through the same thing again. Only the employee told me that I should have come looking for someone sooner I'm disabled, I am not able to go searching for an employee to help me with mixing paint. After yet another 10 minutes I decided to leave. As I was leaving then an employee told me that the paint person was back in paint to help me. I just bought a house of 2200 SQ ft and everything need to be painted. I needed paint for every room inside, paint for the outside, stain for the fence and large deck plus I need 2 bathrooms remodeled and a huge basement to finish. Menards just lost ALL of that business because 1 person wouldn't come do their job!!!

They have a huge selection of stuff here, which is great. And there are some good deals to be found. One thing they could improve on is customer service. I came to pick up a piece of furniture I ordered off their website, and none of their employees offered to help me load it into my car (it was pretty heavy). Luckily, I'm strong (and a super nice guy in the parking lot saw me struggling and helped out). But even Best Buy (whose customer service is dubious at times, imo) offers to help load stuff in your car, they even let you drive up to the door and park there to load up.

Shopped here on Sunday wearing my own mask. Thank you very much for requiring everyone to wear masks and not allowing people to shop without one. Masks are for the safety of not only your employees but also shoppers with health issues. Plenty of advance warning on needing to wear a mask before entering store. Had a great shopping experience.

I was looking around for gift ideas for my two brothers. I literally got followed around bc I had a hoodie on and I had my hair pulled back. As I was walking to my car the employee took my license plates. I have never have felt so degraded an humiliated before. Never thought that I would get judged for wanting to dress comfortable on a weekend. It is terrible that the staff judge there customers by how they dress.

Today 8/7/2021while I was in Menard’s-Fremont Ne, two 1/2 weeks post op from a total shoulder replacement/sling & struggling as I attempted & failed to slide a big bag of potting soil onto the bottom of my cart. Unfortunately other shoppers walked by watching me struggling with one good arm…an employee on a forklift stopped, offered & gave assistance.I was near tears in frustration at this point, as I could not accomplish even this simple thing. The employee was absolutely amazing & told me not to worry, & he did not mind helping!I just want to say, “Thank you sir! You have an amazing heart and I can’t tell you how very much your help meant & continues to mean to me!!!!” It’s been a tough & rough couple of weeks post op & I just needed to put my good hand into some potting soil & mums.Thx also to my checker for anticipating my need for a carry out! It was Sunday and I needed 2 10-ft lengths of 4x4 I did not know they were closing it 7:00 so they come up to me and my fiance and said is there anything we can help you find and I said 4x4s two of them 10 ft oh you'd have to go out to the yard yourself and get them but be best just to come back tomorrow I said I don't want to come back here tomorrow today's my day off. Maybe somebody else came up and asked me what I needed when I told him 4x4s he said oh I think the yard's closed I just turned around and walked away

Had exactly what we were looking for. Price was a bit high but my husband likes there sunglasses. Last pair lasted 8 years so they have that going for them. Casheer was very thuro in her cleaning and service provided. She wore a mask and thanked me for comming in.

Most of the time this place has what I am looking for. Customer service can vary. Checkout speed is "ok". Glad they are in town for convenience and I don't have to drive to Omaha. They have room from improvement.

Menard is a great place to get a huge variety of items for your home at decent prices. Lighting fixtures, kitchen sinks, lumber, garden supplies, paint, cement are just a few of the items they have available. They have knowledgable staff that are always happy to help with a smile.

I love our Fremont Menards and highly recommend to all business and homeowners, craftsmen, hobbiest, and lawn and garden folks this place to find great products and outstanding customer service. The layout of the store is well thought out and there are so many kind and helpful folks here, staff and customers alike. Menards is an efficient, useful store. They went way overboard when they cracked down during the panicdemic. They gleefully jumped in like little nazis demanding that people give up their freedoms to ensure big brother could control the masses for the father land. This is a family owned company. There is no doubt in my mind that Her Menard senior worked well with all the death camp butchers and that the modern menards family could efficiently operate a FEMA reeducation camp or a Chinese Wegar slave factory. Science be damned. Mmenards needs to make money - especially if that means they get to team up with evil.

Very understaffed. Hard to find anyone for help, inside and out. They don't carry the name brand tools worth buying. Mail in rebate looks like junk mail on purpose. So be careful!

I have two problems with this place. First, the sale prices many times are based on a REBATE, which is not always obvious. So they mislead you until you get to checkout and are surprised with price charged. Second, the checkout process is the worst service! They require you to bag your own items...if you're not paying attention the cashier just stands there rudely like you're stupid. No help. Bad service.
