Saturday drove across town to Ace hardware Elkhorn. Needed a new spark plug for my Stihl chainsaw. Bought the chain saw new at this location. Walked to the chainsaw section of the store. Some old man on the computer. He tells me pretend I'm not here. I said I just need a spark plug. He said we don't have one then walked out into the store. I will never buy another chainsaw or parts at this location. If these are the kind of people Ace hardward in Elkhorn hires they should be out of business.

The worst customer service you can get! I ordered for pick up today because the website said in stock. First order got cancelled because the store didn't actually have the grill in stock. That's understandable I ordered again from another another store this time the store changed my pick up date and decided to have the item shipped to the store. That's not what I wanted! Customer service told me all they can do is wait until the store receives the shipped item then they would send me the refund. Terrible company! Don't ever order anything online if you expect it the same day because they'll just hold on to your money if it's not actually in stock!

Came here to find a bolt my husband wanted and after orileys wouldn't even look the bolt up and told me to leave I was referred here by someone at Napa. And the two gentlemen that helped me were so nice and beyond helpful. And talked to my husband in the phone and got me everything without any hassle. There were so knowledge and were wanting to help. I'd highly recommend coming here first. And they should have a raise.

I had a great experience renting power equipment (sod cutter) from this location. Besides the employees all being helpful, the transaction, pickup and drop off were all easy and quick. Will go to them again when I need to rent. Now if I could just say the same for the irrigation guy who laid a main sprinkler line about 1/2 inch below the surface...

Great selection of products and friendly, helpful staff. One employee took the time to explain every lawn mower in stock to my girlfriend so she would know what was best for her new home. While we were there she picked up several fantastic lawn decorations. We'll definitely be back to this location.

Came in to replace some lifetime warranty tools and there was no manager on duty and the highest person in charge refused to fulfill their oath. You better know what you want if you go here because the employees have no clue on how to do their job.

Our local Elkhorn ACE Hardware store is the best. Always helpful, great selection of tools and even a gift shop in the back. They also do rentals of all sorts of machinery.

I visited this Ace location looking for an obscure item. I was immediately greeted by an employee and asked if I needed help. Not only did she help me look for the item, but then helped me look it up on their computer when it was determined to not be in stock at the store. She was great. We located the item online and she offered to ship it to their store for pickup. Without the help I would have left the store assuming that it was not available.

Fantastic customer service and great selection within Elkhorn. Had my 10 yrs old Honda lawn mower serviced here and they tuned it up like it was brand new!!! Hasn’t run this well since I bought it! They even washed and cleaned it!!!

Rental of a chain saw was a bad experience as the saw was not cleaned and the chain was very dull. Twenty miles later they cleaned the saw but put a very dull used chain back on. Twenty miles back and they finally put on a new chain which worked fine. I returned the saw and no offer of refund or reduced rate. Note anyone renting chain saws check the chains and the filter. I worked for a power company that cut trees every winter so I should have looked closer, but I trusted them.

Super knowledgeable staff at the Elkhorn store.Go to them with your needs or problem. They'll be generous with their time and suggestions. Try to find that in a superstore! LOL! And heaven forbid if you need help or repairs!So, I learned the higher price is much cheaper in the end. Life simpler!

Always closed when I need them, unfortunately. Higher priced than Menards but they have name brand stuff, which is nice.

5 stars...Why? Because this was the only place in the whole freaking city of Omaha I could find a decent, metal, sturdy, snow shovel. Menards? NO! Home depot? NO! Lowes? NO! Every place had cheap plastic shovels. I was heading to the mountains and needed something that could chop through feet of white stuff. Found what I needed at this place...after being informed in a hushed voice, by a Menards employee.

I dropped mower blades off to be sharpened and was told it would be 2 days. On day 4 I returned to the store since I had yet to receive a phone call only to find out they were still not done. I had to mow my lawn so I took them back and will be taking that business somewhere else in the future.

Love this store and it was super helpful that they have a repair shop. They fixed my snowblower and it started on the first pull after picking it up.

Ace is the place for all sorts of things. Paint, lawn accessories, tools, rentals, plants, lights and fixtures. Plus there a more home town feal of a store. Friendly and willing to help.

Poor customer service. Their prices are much higher than of any other store around the area. The store is old and dirty. If looking for something in a hardware store, do yourself a favor and go to a store that cares about customers.
