We got lunch for our work crew at Ken’s Appliance and it was a HIT. I’m on Keto so I ordered a Keto crust pizza and it was so delicious. We also splurged and got the Brown Butter Rice Krispies and Garlic Knots and my crew loved those too. We will definitely be repeat customers!

I wish I had a great photo to share with this review, but every time we get the pizza it's gone to quick to get one!! Just the right amount of cheese and toppings on a perfectly chewy, yet crisp crust! Well worth the 15 min drive North to get a couple pies and of course we always make sure to pick up a couple of the brown butter rice crispy treats. Keep up the good work Red Bird!!

We recently became acquaintanced with their homemade cinnamon rolls and are hooked! They’re by far the largest and best tasting homemade rolls we’ve ever had! It’s definitely worth the 15 minute drive down from GI on a Saturday morning to pick them up (you can in your order ahead of time). We’ve also had their cupcakes and those are incredibly delicious too! It’s a fantastic place!

Food is delicious. Service is sketchy. Even after 5 times of trying to get ahold of them for a special order (via email, messenger and phone up to 5 weeks before event), I never did get a timely response. My time wasn’t as important as theirs.

They have the absolute best pastries I've ever tasted. I am a cinnamon roll fanatic. These are the best I've ever had along with their pecan rolls. My husband loves the cherry cinnamon rolls. We live in Lincoln but Red Bird Bakery beats the local competition. We literally place an order ahead of time and make the drive to stock up. These items freeze well. Be sure to check the days and hours the bakery is open, but you can call other times. The owner does the baking. We haven't tried the pizza yet, but hear it's a local favorite.

Well worth the drive from Grand Island! Pizza was very good. Dough was well developed and had a perfect hint of sweetness to counterbalance the tomato sauce and saltiness of the meat toppings. The garlic knots were incredibly good as well. You won't be disappointed.

We wanted to try red bird out & called to see how late they were open. They closed in 20 minutes & were so kind as to say they would wait for us to get there. We made it on time & ordered 2 of almost everything they had plus a pizza. It was all beyond yummie!! Great people & great food!!

I have only gotten to taste their delicious, gooey brownie bites and browned butter rice crispie bites at a party. First time I had heard of them, as I don't live nearby. But if you're driving near Doniphan or Kearney, NE they would be worth seeking out! Stop for a snack or pre-ordered catering.

Granola...cinnamon rolls...caramel pecan rolls...cherry rolls...All DELICIOUS 😋 But the pizza was like a bit of heaven on my taste buds🍕I bought it take and bake style so that we could eat it fresh out of the oven and we loved it! The aromas filled up my kitchen and it tasted as good as it smelled My family loved everything about this bakery

This is truly a hidden gem. It doesn’t matter if you’re there for the cinnamon rolls or the pizza, service is fantastic, the portions are huge and the quality is beyond anything you’ve had before. Well worth the drive from anywhere in the Grand Island/Hastings area!

Very quaint for a small town, however very friendly and I visited two other businesses and was very impressed with how they are so excited about their businesses are booming! I visited one of the shops and a dear person, shared they are also engaging and they are preparing for a Barista Coffee Shop which use to be a bank! Looking forward to see how Doniphan is coming alive with activities! Best Blessings to you, All!!!I wanted to try their breakfast burrito but they were out; I hope to try another time to go! I understand the burritos are homemade! The pizza looked really good too! I did get to try the chocolate mocha cupcake and it was awesome, so tender and the frosting was so...... good!And I love the times the bakery is open, actually, ideal! Can’t wait to go back there!
