I drove 3,200 miles solo in 5 days in a MINI convertible from Miami to Portland, OR from April 6 through 10th. And to be honest, I drove from Portland to Miami less than a year ago. I’ve been to 1 zillion (exageration) rest stops in my 40 years on earth between those trips and just life. I hadn’t even taken the time to get my jeans out of my suitcase since I reached colder climates and was FREEZING in the shorts I had been wearing when I got to Fat Dogs. I dug into my suitcase, grabbed my jeans and went into this not so great looking from the outside establishment to pee and change my bottoms. There was a girl cleaning the soda machine as I hurried to the restroom hoping for something decent to change in. I walked in and was floored...it was the cleanest, nicest bathroom you can hope for on a road trip like this. I think I could have eaten off the dang floor. I did what I needed and went into the store, and the gal asked me if the bathroom was clean...she took the words outta my mouth because I told her I was just going to tell her it was. She said, oh, good, because I just cleaned it. I missed their slogan that says Clean Bathrooms and Best Looking Cashiers on the outside...she was cute and the bathrooms were really nice. I can’t remember the gals name who was working, but it was April 8th at 8:30AM, and she is a gem...take care of her please!!! Thank you for giving this single white chick a comfy place to do what I needed. Looking at the map, this stop was just about exactly halfway on my travels...unexpected great experience!

Wouldn’t stop anywhere else near here for fuel, food or service! Great customer care. Great advertised price for fuel. Easy in and out. If you need fuel and you’re close by, stop and see the awesome staff!

Love fat dogs. Lowest priced gas.. just make sure to read and pay attention to what type of gas you use because they are different. Hate to state the obvious but you have to read the signs posted before you look foolish by charging inside and screaming at the cashier who is just working there to survive and not purposely misleading you.. they don't even know you.. lmao they reseved the bright colored handle to be just for the lowest price gas and still the efforts are over looked. Literally. Beb kind when you stop in this shop.

Just heard on the news all of these gas stations are under investigation for scamming people! Good! That’s what you deserve and I hope it costs you big time! Nice little scam! Watch the pump because the advertised price is limited to two pumps only. They claim there’s big signs but we weren’t the first people to be scammed so it must not be very obvious. We planned to fill the tank but shut off as soon as we realized we were paying$.37 more than the sign said. We won’t go there again no matter how cheap the gas is. Maybe you should have one pump that’s the premium and all the rest the price you are advertising instead of the other way around. Oh yeah you wouldn’t be able to cheat so many people!

Yes there are only two pumps that sell cheap gas but the signs are huge…seriously if you can’t see them..the DMV shouldn’t of passed you on your eye exam. Highway Heros in this time of gas gouging.Also you do realize if this business had more then two pumps selling cheap fuel that they would go out of business?They saved me money while I was commuting to Lincoln everyday.#notallheroswearcapes

Very conveniently located right off of Interstate. Gas pumps are open 24 hours. It's across the street from Mormon State Park, very awesome place to visit it's beautiful. And right next door to motel USA motel. The manager here is very friendly stop in and say hi. Very clean Place restrooms are always clean good stock on the shelves.

This place is full of scam artists! There’s only 1 pump with the advertised price per gallon. They are happy to scam you out of the $.40 extra! And the unhappy woman who manages the joint is very rude about it.The bathrooms were disgusting, and apparently there are no amenities as you would find at a decent gas station such as paper towels or windshield washers.Now I know why I don’t see any other Gulf stations.

This is a shady gas station. The billboard advertised sign is only available at certain pumps. Look for small signs and fine print on the pumps themselves if you choose to go to this place. After I saw the signs and realized I was paying $2.99 instead of $2.64, I stopped pumping immediately. We’ll take our business elsewhere.

The attendant at this gas station was extremely rude and the location had their lights off inside the store, but the "open" sign was still on. It was brought to his attention the windshield fluids to clean your windows was out in all wash containers. After waiting for a while for him to bring some water out I went back in and asked him again. He responded rudely and said he'd be out there when he had a minute. I waited for him to count lottery tickets, while no customers were in the store, and after a few more minutes decided to reward his customer service by not purchasing anything and going to a different gas station. 6/15/15 @ 9:45 pm.

This is a great place with friendly people. I walked up after trouble on the road and while trying to get in touch with help my phone died. The attendant came out to check on me. He let me come in to get warm from the 10 degree temperature and charged my phone for me. Just wanted to send a big thank you out to the gentleman that helped me out.

Suuuuper friendly staff who gave me the backstory to Fat Dogs’ name and logo. Honestly, some of the nicest people we talked to along our road trip. Clean facilities and amazing Fat Dogs merch. I already put my “YOU ARE NOWHERE” bumper sticker on my car.

Pleasent little gas station. Young lady who was working was very nice and had a great sence of humor. For a gas stop it was a pleasent escape from the hyway. Clean store and lot with ample selection of gas station goods.

All though this station is old. The staff is great and friendly and has one of the cleanest bathrooms. There was no sign of graffiti in the women's restroom. Appreciated this after a long time on the road!

Stopped here on a trip from Iowa to Colorado. Chose this gas station because my dad and fiancé thought the name was hilarious. We all got a huge kick out of the name/signs. BUT let me tell you, the hot dogs are disgusting. I mean... yuck. Old, dried out, overall it was terrible. The cashier acted like she was on drugs or something. Weird. But the bathrooms were clean I guess lol we stopped in again on the way back just for the laugh. We now have a permanent joke between the three of us.

Do not go to this gas station after heavy rain or snow! It's not the business' fault at all, they are just located at the bottom of a hill. Some vehicles WILL get stuck. It's worse because it's a gravel road too, maybe the city could pave it in the future.

Be careful, the price they advertise it's not the price they have at all the pumps. The advertised price only counts for one or two pumps that have the lower quality gas. Skip this gas station and go to one that is upfront about their prices.

It wss winter conditioms with 40 mph steady wind and gusting stronger.I don't know how anyone stays sane here? I'll give it 5 stars because it was a tiny little enclave of escape from the cesspool that is I 80 through Nebraska.

Gas price advertised is not what they charge. Receipts print blank. And you have to hold the handle and restart the gas constantly. Go to a different place.

Sign stated that gas was $1.77 cash/$1.87 credit. I paid $2.47 credit. The advertised price was only on a certain pump but the sign did not state that. What a rip off!

Very helpful staff came in at 7 a.m. the girl working was awesome (forgot to get a name)she was so sweet to us ,had lots of minnows for fishing to !!!!!
