If I could give negative star amounts, I would. I don't think I've ever felt less welcome in a Dollar General in my life. The cashiers would not talk to us; they stared me and my children with special needs down the entire time and whispered about us between themselves and customers; and when we had to have someone come over to get the proper authorization for one item, she didn't bother to say two words to us and rolled her eyes when she was done. If I thought it was worth complaining to a higher up, I would. Instead, I'm just going to leave this review to let others know that the Doniphan Nebraska Dollar General apparently only provides customer service to people they deem worthy of it.

The cashier (i think she's a manager) was very patient and understanding. Between my kid not wanting to open his ears, me being a tight wad, my coupons not wanting to scan, and me not having my ducks in a row, i was ready to pull my own hair out ....... She still was very helpful and nice.

No matter where my wife and I go we always seem to have to stop at a Dollar general, it's not that we need anything but all Dollar generals seem to have something a little different than the rest. Enjoyed our visit picked up a few items, place was clean and staff was very friendly.

No one greeted us and as we're checking out (using the self help) then the cashier came out to ensure that I paid. I think it's because I am not caucasian. I've been wrong before, but I doubt it

I thought it would be great to have something close. The place was cluttered. Boxes unpacked.Hours are 12:30 pm till 9:00Thats not very useful
