I thought I would never have a chance to make it the actual store. I was able to travel through Nebraska this past week and made a Detour. It was well worth everything you have heard about the store and staff at Spring Creek Model Trains. The inventory was Crazy! I had ordered several times online and had never been disappointed. Being in the store, I wasn’t either. The staff went out of there way to make sure my detour was worth it. I was able to set and talk Steel mills with the owner, he is into steel mill pretty heavy. I was able to tell him about my father who was an Engineer for 36 years at our home town mill. They made sure I found what I was looking and I appreciate it beyond all gratitude. Recommend if you ever get a chance to even get close to the store, make the detour. They will not let you down. Thx again to Spring Creek awesome visit and story time, Mike

I've never been able to visit the store in person but the staff is always a pleasure to deal with when placing an order. They are quick to respond to calls, emails, and even Facebook messages. They don't have much of a online inventory, but they stock a lot of different products. All you have to do is ask and they will likely have what you're looking for! I've been a repeat customer for years and don't plan on changing that!

Unbelievably extensive inventory of HO and N scale trains that are very well organized. Family owned and run, very knowledgeable and friendly. Plan on spending a minimum of an hour inside but that'll be pushing it; I spent nearly two, didn't see it all and felt I rushed through it. Hands down the best scale model train store I've ever visited...and I've been to numerous. FIVE STARS +

It is wonderful to see the business is still active and thriving, domestically and internationally (Japan, Australia, UK, ...). What an amazing train store. The selection here is second to none. I wandered around for hours and still feel like I only took in part of what there was to see. The prices are very good and the staff was super helpful. If you are anywhere within a few hours of this hidden gem and don't make the trip then you are missing out. I am told that they have around 13000 Ho train cars and around 2000 ho scale locomotives and now that I have been there I have no problem believing it. It is 2 hours from me but I am sure to be returning soon!

Super quick delivery!! My son wanted a specific train that we couldn't find anywhere else but Spring Creek had a great selection! I was able to get the engine, and all the matching cars! Discovered this fantastic model train store when I attended the Santa Fe Railroad Historical and Modeling convention in Houston. Found some great cars for my layout and had a pleasant conversation with the owner during dinner.

A great mail order experience. Spring Creek have an excellent website. Very clear and easy to navigate. Each listing has a nice big clear photo, a short description and if applicable, a multi choice list of road numbers. I also like fact that the postage cost is displayed at the checkout, as not all model retailers advise carriage costs in advance. This is very benifical to me as I live in the UK and carriage can be cost prohibitive. The ordering process was clear and simple. My order was very well packaged and was sent very swiftly. I couldn't expect a better service than I received. Thank you Spring Creek. You will be my first choice from now on.

A very well stocked store for HO & N scale. I traveled 5 Hrs. from Norman, Oklahoma to visit there store is was a very pleasant trip and experience. The store owners Dave and Debbie were friendly and informative. I hope to have a chance to visit there store again.

They were at the Dallas Area Model Train show. Great selection of rolling stock and other goodies at the show- I’m thankful for the recommendation on a centerbeam flatcar load, and the staff was very helpful when I called to order several more two weeks after they were at the show (the items were not featured on the website and the order process was easy and smooth). Keep up the great work!

After visiting their dealer display at Trainfest during the past two shows, I went to their open house over the July 4th weekend this year. Was I ever surprised at the size of the store and the selection available!All of the people who staffed the store during the open house were most helpful and friendly. There were a lot of people there who had come from quite a distance to visit the store and the train show sponsored by the store. Great prices as well. This is a good place to check out if you are looking for HO and N scale trains!

Dave and Deb have a very large selection of model trains to choose from. The store is packed full of old and new items in HO, N with a hint of Z and O scale items. If you are looking for out of stick items. They might have it. They are also a traveling store, you see them at small and most major train shows around the country.

In the middle of nowhere, and not much around it in town to see, but it is a superb model Railroading store!!! I had shopped with them at train shows in Denver and Cheyenne for years, but finally made the trek to the store itself this spring. So much stock and variety- everything for HO and N scales. Now even some O gauge. Hope they add Lionel and MTH soon. Yes, it's out of the way, but very well worth the trip. Hard to find items, newest releases, discounted pricing, pre ordering all are here. Come prepared to spend money, you will find something you want!!!

Off the beaten path but a huge selection of HO and N scale model train rolling stock and modeling supplies. I usually trade with them at train shows (where they bring a portion of their stock to set up) but happened to be driving near Deshler (long story, don't ask) and decided to detour the 9 miles or so out of curiosity. Bring money, you'll have no trouble finding something you can't live without!
